North
Area
Lake
View,
also
known
as
Zăgazului
13-19,
is
a
complex
of
4
blocks.
It
was
built
in
2010
on
Zăgazului,
from
where
it
derives
its
name
more
often
used
by
real
estate
agents,
being
easier
to
spot
and
put
in
context
than
its
official
name.
Large
buildings
and
surprisingly
close
to
each
other
-
a
question
to
which
I
would
be
very
curious
to
find
out
the
answer
of
those
at
the
town
hall
who
approved
such
a
thing.
But
the
blocks
hold
up
quite
well,
there
are
few
signs
of
deterioration.
North
Area
Lake
View
has
invested
heavily
and
profitably
in
a
surprisingly
beautiful
garden
in
Bucharest
where
every
square
millimeter
is
sold
for
building
blocks.
The
garden
is
excellently
maintained,
with
many,
albeit
very
beautiful,
ornamental
trees,
paths
and
benches,
and
even
a
few
dummy
rocks.
They
call
it
"ART
Concept
Gardens",
I
assume
it's
something
replicable.
This
small
private
park
is
remarkable.
The
ensemble
was
designed
and
built
by
Ion
Chirescu,
a
well-known
landscape
architect
in
Bucharest,
and
not
only
for
his
real
estate
properties.
Strada
Zăgazului
looks
like
all
the
streets
full
of
cars
and
noise
at
the
end
towards
Pipera
Road,
but
towards
the
water
it
is
quiet
and
more
pleasant,
even
with
the
undeveloped
shore
of
the
lake.
So
if
you
imagine
a
linear
transition
from
the
ugly
on
one
end
and
the
beautiful
on
the
other,
and
knowing
that
North
Area
Lake
View
is
about
halfway,
then
you
can
say
that
I'm
staying
in
a
reasonable
area.
