I went a few times with friends to this great craft beer taproom. It has a large selection of locally brewed beers (Hop Hooligans & friends). I am not sure what I like more: the crazy beer names or their taste. They have a small selection of snacks, some beer themed as well - beer crackers from favr. I would say a perfect match with a chilled IPA or whatever else you fancy. Or you can order in from any place you wish and have your meal accompanied by craft beer. A big thumbs up for the always free and available filtered water tap.

Great craft beer pub, we came here twice during our short holiday in Bucharest. The beer selection on tap is very good, with 24 different beers covering different styles. The inside is decorated simply but nicely and there are more beers in the fridges as well. The staff was nice and helpful when we had a tough tine deciding what to try. There is also a terrace and it's possible to get some food, but we did not try anything.

A much needed splash of fresh air in the Bucharest pub landscape. Great selection of local and international beers in a cozy location, outside of that overcrowded, filthy old town. Best of luck to the HH outfit and looking forward to my next visit!

The guys at HH have created something really good here; it's an old, characterful building which has been turned into a taproom whilst keeping the feel of the architecture. Really nicely done with lots of Hop Hooligans branding around and, more importantly, 20 beers on tap plus a load more in the fridges! The beers are theirs plus collaborations and guest beers from friends across Europe, making this the beer destination in Bucharest. They have a food pop-up in the yard outside if you're hungry. It's a ten minute walk from the centre, so make the effort to see this temple to craft beer.

The best taproom with craft beer in Bucharest! The bar is basically from Hop Hooligans and they always have a few on tap from them and the cans with the classic beers, but besides that they have probably around 20-25 other beers on tap which are changing every few weeks, so if you come back in a few weeks you’re able to try many new beers! The beers are absolutely amazing, as they have everything from stouts to lagers, IPAs, and even my all time favourite, the Sencha, which is beer with Japanese Tea. If you’re a fan of beer you can’t miss this one!

Cool atmosphere with friendly service. But most importantly - great selection of craft beers on tap. Both from Hop Hooligans and other breweries as well. Very important to reserve a table ahead, especially during the weekend. Nice interior design, fun as an overall.

Great beer, terrible service. He was chewing on a toothpick without a mask and when I asked him if I can try a beer on tap, he looked at me with disdain and then mumbled something like 'maybe but don't make me give you too many'. The beers are also pricey which I wouldn't mind if that money would go to a nice person. The guy at the bar acted as if I was making him a service for buying his overpriced beer 😂 Btw, the place was empty so it wasn't like he was overworked or anything Edit: thanks for the reply, I appreciate it and will give it another try. I do have to mention that I spoke Romanian to him and there was no misunderstanding, he was just rude.

One of the best bars where you can enjoy a very wide selection of craft beers, not necessarily made by Hop Hooligans. Love the vibe, love the music, love the people that come there. Overall a very good experience, that makes you return every weekend or after a busy day at work.

Beer heaven. Look no further than Hop Hooligans taproom for your beer cravings. Not to mention the amazing food. Had an absolute blast here chatting to strangers who became friends. Also had about 8 different beers and each one was amazing. Highly recommended.

Man, they've got an awesome lineup of craft beers at this joint! I went all-in on the IPAs, and let me tell you, each one was a total delight. The bartender really knew his stuff when it came to all those brews, and we ended up having a cool chat about beer in general. So not only are the drinks top-notch, but you might just pick up some beer knowledge along the way. Cheers to that! 🍻🍺👍

We were really excited to visit, since Hop Hooligans are our absolute favourite brewery! Did not disappoint - huge selection on tap, friendly staff and a lovely terrace, which we could enjoy in the warm evening weather. When they ran out of one of their guest beers, they instantly updated their menu and set up the keg with one of their own beers. Such an awesome place, can't wait to be back!

Decent beers let down by unfriendly service. I’d go elsewhere. [I was just asked by the owner for more info - I visited at 17:00 on March 4. The first guy behind the bar (bald, beard) was seriously unfriendly- no smile, nothing. His colleague (longer hair) was nicer but I didn’t get a very friendly vibe from the place.]

One of the best taproom in Bucarest. The brewery is really great, a place to go for beer lovers. The beers are original and the result of a great brewer job. If you like beer you should go there for sure !

I've visited this place a couple of times, and I can say that I strongly recommend it if you're a specialty beer lover like myself. The wide variety of craft beers is astonishing, both bottled/canned or draught. You will certainly find something for your taste, no matter how pretentious you are. The chocolatey stouts were among my favorites, along with the pale ales from around the world. The atmosphere is also very nice, the staff is friendly, and you also have a fast food "house" on the terrace for some delicious snacks that go very well with the beer.

Felt like a nerd from all the beers provided, amazing service. Lots of taps with local beers. Took some cans for home, prices were very good. There is a food van outside so that you can eat and drink your fav beers. Outdoor seating provided also

Lots of types of ales available, both draught and bottled. Lovely outside building. Approx 15 - 20 mins walk from old town. American style diner outside for snacks if wanted. Overall a good experience

Best Taproom in Bucharest by far and one of the best I’ve ever been. Lot of NEIPA availability which I prefer, but there are beer types for everybody (tap and cans) You can also have some beer-matching food there like burgers, corndogs. I tried a smoked sausage and it was delicious

A very nice place, spacious, and with very good craft beer so prices are high but you don't pay for an ordinary beer. I like IPA and I really enjoyed Shock Therapy at the proposal of the bartender which was a very good choice. There's a food stand in the yard but it's not open on Monday, you can order takeout from the restaurant next door and it eat at the location.

Nice variety, and I gather products are changed very frequently. Tried three different beers. Not a lot of body to match the strong flavours - maybe the cellar or cool room is a couple of degrees too high. Staff were friendly enough, but quite reserved. Lots of cats to watch!

My favorite pub in Bucharest. They have a very good selection of craft beers, not only from Hop Hooligans! In their courtyard there’s a very good burger joint!

Really nice beers. A wide selection of beers in 2 sizes. The fact that they have an Untappd screen makes it even more fun!

We stopped here on a walking beer and History tour. Excellent! The barley wine on tap was very flavourful and well balanced. The stouts had great infused tastes. The names of the beers are charming and witty with a great rotating selection on tap. If you’re a beer sticker collector they had some for free! Also we were able to purchase single cans for take away. Looked busy so I’m glad we had table reservations. There’s a food truck serving American style burger fare which looked popular although we didn’t try it.

This is the taproom of the most famous craft brewery in Bucharest. Lots of products to chose from, lots of styles, lots of hops, malts and experiments. Some of them, insanely challenging. Clients can also try ales brewed by other breweries from Romania and abroad. Snacks are available on the terrace and are created to match the beer. Tried codfish with fries and Fire Ants ginger ale and loved it. Codfish and King Leaf DDH DIPA is another great combo. Ended the evening in style with Perpetual Underdog Imperial Stout.

Great beer, but the place could be a bit improved. It was really loud inside, you couldn’t hear people at your table and the food was not the best. The staff was friendly and they recommended us beers to try depending on our taste. I will probably come back here in the future.
