Unquestionably the best beer in Hungary. Hungary is known for wine and pálinka and does not have a very developed beer culture. For this reason most breweries here are not particularly great. Guri is the exception to this. They are consistently excellent. Every beer I've had from them is incredible. My personal favorite is Hoptimal (West Coast style IPA). As someone from Seattle, they got it 100% correct. For those who like fruit beers, their redcurrant and plum are some of the best fruit beers I've had in my life. I would say the only negative about Guri is that their prices are higher than average for Hungary, but in my opinion their quality is absolutely worth every forint.

The beer here is frenetic. Even the beers with fruit tastes are worth to try! Very nice characteristics of tastes and really nice combinations of malt, hop and barley construct the beers one can get here. The selected beers are tapped in place. And it worth to drink the bottles within 24 hours after opening. The service is very kind every time I visit it, I always love to go back.
