And here we found the most delicious goulash at the most pleasant price :) The atmosphere is super cozy and the service is great, the waiters speak excellent English. We came during lunch time for the three course lunch menu and it was delish. For 3,000 Ft it was pretty great value for traditional Hungarian dishes. Each course has options to choose from and are served once you have finished the previous course. The service was great even though it was very busy when we visited. Highly recommended! It was slightly tricky to find but totally worth it! The menu choices are endless, with a large variety of Hungarian dishes. In terms of the food itself, the portians are very large and highly delicious! The waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful with food recommendations and menu info. A+ for customer service. 😊

Regos Vendeglo it's a kind of taverna where you can find typical traditional Hungarian food. I liked the place because it seemed to be more "local" and it's not one of the many places just for tourists. About the food, It wasn't bad and had good prices. I would recommend for a dinner!

Very enjoyable meal in a great space. Be sure you have time to spend here as the dishes are authentic and take some time to prepare. Our waiter made some great recommendations when asked and we enjoyed appetizers, mains, and dessert.

Not a great experience. The staff was nice but the food didn’t meet our expectations. We ordered sone traditional dishes. Chicken stew with traditional pasta had almost no taste and beef stew was very salty and pasta had a strange sour smell. The desserts were almost tasteless too, seemed bought from supermarket and served on a plate. The prices are lower compared to other traditional restaurants but still overrated for the dishes they served us.

My husband and I have enjoyed this lovely restaurant in Budapest. The owner and the waiters are friendly. If you like to try traditional Hungarian food then this is a must visit. Jane Goodall even visited this place once and enjoyed the food.

Guy working there was a bit grumpy, the girl serving us was pleasant and polite. Food was very good nicely priced fair portion tasted good. Nice you could select a half portion of the soup for a starter. Place was nice and had a traditional atmosphere.

To be very honest, I went in here as I saw their menu £7 for 3 course meal which was as delightful as it can get! The schnitzel was quite dry, especially served with a side of chips but the staff are really polite and the service is quick.

Tasty food, we tried deer and goose! Portions were normal. Service was moderate. Nice traditional landscape but the smell was not good, was smelling fried oil.

The place itself is very nice but waiters aren't that pleasent, and the food is average. There was a lot of small bones in my fish fillet and everything was very oily. But the dessert was amazing (chestnut puree), very delicious for a normal price.

A brilliant little restaurant nestled down a quiet street in the centre of Budapest, the food and service were brilliant. It was really nice to find a non touristy place to enjoy authentic Hungarian food I would fully recommend.

My first experience with Hungarian food was a good one. It was a bit difficult to choose the dishes and also the waiters didn't help much.

This is the second time I come here, first time was about two years ago. The vibes of the place are amazing, the soups we had (goulash and the cheese celery) were amazing and perfect for a cold day. Main dishes are amazing too, we loved the dumplings with the paprika sauce especially. Prices went up a lot since the first time I came but just like in all of the city. Must visit!
