Total loved it & fully recommend !!! This restaurant is exceptional ! Scenery is modern & attractive, the bar is full of spirits & great wine list! Everything is prepared in site so the smell is unavoidable but inviting!!! Grilled meat in a variety of choices & many veggies also! Lamp chops tender & no smell at all ! Pork steak too. Sausage interesting & tasty kebabs! Seasoning is cautious so we added salt & pepper. A variety of dip’s comes with your order as well!!! Great salads & starters!!! The service is polite and friendly. Niko even talked at us in Greek, so impressed! English was great from everyone in the staff! So friendly to tourists! Located opposite Saint Stefan church, cozy neighborhood with a variety of choices for a drink, around! Pricey but it really worth it ! Tips are not mandatory and they tell you so !!! The dishes are delicious and exceptional. Original Georgian Great portions that are very filling! All in all, I'm totally satisfied!

Fine dining restaurant serving delicious Georgian food close to the St. Stephen’s Basilica. We chose the mixed grilled plate for 2 and it tasted divine. The lamb chops, duck breasts and the veggies too. Waiters were very kind, attentive and advised everything up to our taste. Definitely recommended to visit, sit on their terrace for a beautiful evening.🍽

A great Georgian restaurant in the downtown of Budapest with obviously Georgian food specialties. The service was friendly, here there they made small mistakes. Fresh and delicious food. There is a terrace but it is next to a busy street and too noisy, choose to sit inside. Service fee is included in the bill automatically. Card is accepted.

This is a nice place to taste Georgian food. Food quality was okay. They could improve the quality of ingredients. Service was very good and fast given we went early as they were just opening the kitchen. Our waiter was awesome. Super friendly and since it was our first time provided detailed information about Georgian style food. We also had dumpling stuffed with cacao and topped with red cherries.

Very expensive. About 30 euros per person. The grilled meat is tough with a lot of fat and cartilage, under seasoned. The fried potato was hard in the middle and had no salt. The pomegranate lemonade was too sweet. And the dumplings were truly terrible. The taste itself was alright, but the meat inside was repulsive. It had a LOT of hard pieces and mysterious lumps that neither me or my friends could chew. It's the worst food I've had in Budapest. Really, really bad. I guess we were unlucky, because I truly don't understand how this place can have such good reviews. However the waiver was very kind and helpful, but that's it.

Unique Georgian food (because really, how many Georgian restaurants are out there?). Food was presented well, and they have excellent platters and meals for groups so it takes the guessing out of the experience and you just get to taste everything. Service was attentive, restaurant was beautiful, and most importantly... the food. The food was excellent. We got an appetizer platter, the Georgian fried dumplings, and a BBQ platter, and it was wayyyy too much for two people but it was amazing all the same. Highly appreciate the excellent meal!

I had a lovely time at this Georgian restaurant. The hinkali were truly excellent. The appetizer and salad tasting platter plus a roast tasting platter was quite enough for two people. The service was excellent as well. The only downside was that the food was quite high for Budapest and I wish the host would bring me the cheque first before asking how I wanted to pay.

Delicious Georgian cuisine! Central location , close to St. Stephen’s Basilica. The interior is beautiful and cosy. As for dishes - they were very tasty , portions were quite big. There is also great choice of Georgian wines. The service was perfect, waiters were attentive and advised everything up to our taste. Definitely recommend to visit)

Superb. It’s rare to find a place that stuns you when it comes to food — this one just does. The service is super nice, and while you think this may be a touristic spot, it does different: all the foods served are of superb (not excellent!) quality. To start with, Georgian wine is a thing of a beauty — very rich color, yet totally opposite taste from what you’d expect .. supremely nice on the gum, kind of the cradle of wine. The salad was a delight to start with, being served with beautifully tender chicken thighs from the grill and a lovely dressing featuring pomegranate. The mains were no different, rich in taste yet soft and tender meat, with great sides that round off the experience of tastes nicely. The service was outstanding, super friendly and helpful.

Very nice customer service, good food. We’ve had a great experience and want to say thanks. I really recommend this place, we got our food really fast and even if we waited for dessert, the waiter politely told us that it will take longer to prepare but it was definitely worth waiting. I hope I’ll visit this place soon again.

Portions were big, 2 of us had degustation menu and georgian classic menu, and we barely ate 70%. Meat in georgian classic was well done and not by my taste, american pale ale beer was too sour, but the rest of food was very good and service very polite.

Amazing place a definite must try while in Budapest! This was my first time ever trying Georgian food and I absolutely think it was an amazing first choice! Will not disappoint! I will definitely be back as soon as I am in Budapest again. The service was amazing, great staff and family. 10/10! Also I apologize on the delay on my review, this place is phenomenal! Also price point is not awful, a specialty restaurant in Budapest and it is absolutely gorgeous inside. Definitely worth the experience and I would not consider this overpriced.

A very stylish Georgian restaurant in Budapest. Everything was high quality, from the menu to the food and wine. The traditional appetisers were way better than the main meat platter. Try as many as you can. Definitely get the dumplings and ask the waiter to explain how to properly eat them.

We had dinner in this restaurant randomly. Interior is nice and spacious with high, brick vault ceiling. We have tried typical Georgian food hachapuri with cheese and egg, chicken soup, and beef kebabi. They were all very nice though I've tried much more better kebaps. We haven't tried Georgian wine, but I suggest to drink as Georgia is famous for its wines. Service is not the best but still ok. The prices are a bit high.

Great place for a taste of Georgian cuisine. The location is great, right behind St. Stephen's Cathedral, and it offers a terrace as well. The staff is very friendly, communicative and polite. As for the food, the bread boats are amazingly tasty! I also recommend getting tea with muraba. Leave some room for desert as well, it's worth it.

Good Georgian food! A great Georgian restaurant in the downtown of Budapest. Food is really tasty. The waitress was clearly in a bad mood, we had the impression that she was about to throw the food and drinks at us. In the end she broke a glass. Accidents happen, I understand. But in this restaurant the service charge is already included (automatically) and at the end they still ask if you want to add service charge.

Boring food, not much taste. Lemonade was like a sweet tea, I didn’t like it. The interior is nice and the staff is very welcoming, but it’s still a 3, because the food doesn’t worth its price.

mm.. it's just a very beautiful place... Good customer service, excellent food selection. I really liked their khinkali and khachapuri, and all this washed down with Borjomi mineral water is such a delight. I'll be happy to come back here.

Was a long time before when I eat in a Georgian restaurant and I feel lucky that i found this place my last day here! I like everything I tried, but we love mostly Hachapuri! If you want to taste something different then that's the place! The stuff was helpful and the food delivered fast. Prices was affordable.

Delicious! Every bit of food I had here was so flavorful. We had the rolled up eggplants as an appetizer, and the chicken and beef clay pot dishes. The customer service was great too, which is truly something to treasure in Hungary . I will be back again that is forsure.

It was a good restaurant. Food was also good (really good), however it was not like real georgian food. But as I said it was really good as a meal. Only downside is the price... But I guess it is normal in Budapest.

Food is 4 stars. Service is 2 and that being generous. Took 1 hour to get a meat platter. No apologies for delay or nothing. The restaurant want busy. But seems like they forgot and didn't want to admit. The food is hit and miss really. In the meat platter the chicken and lamb were good. The vegetables were still raw and were grilled and the pork was rubber. The pastry with cheese and egg was quite nice.

Everything is meant to be shared for 2. We allowed our amazing waiter to select our items and he did not disappoint. This is all authentic Georgian food. Georgian wines are also available and are spectacular. Ambience is lovely, decor has nice clean lines and everything is clean and efficient. Would definitely recommend. It's not a rushed event. Please give yourself at least 90 minutes as courses are brought out one at a time. Pictured are marinated tomatoes with Georgian cheese, a 4 cheese "pizza", beef dumplings and bone in pork chops with potatoes. Get the pork, it's what they're known for.

We come to this restaurant every year when we go to Budapest, so far been 3-4 times. Food is great, although really expensive for what it is (probably about 30 EUR / 11,000 HUF per person). Keep in mind that there is a 15% service charge/tip already included in the bill - no need to tip additionally. At first, service is great - from meeting someone at the door to get your seat, throughout picking first meals/drinks and during it. Problem comes when you're finished with the food and want to either pay or have something more. Each time we came, after finishing food and wine, nobody ever comes to check if we want anything more (and all these times we wanted at least another glass of house wine which is super tasty). After waiting for quite a while we usually decide that we want to pay and get out anyway, but nobody comes still. Staff conveniently ignore us (as well as other customers). They see empty tables & glasses, and go around us, but never stop to ask. We decided to stand up and go to cash register to ask if we can pay after about 30 min of waiting and had to stand for another 10-15 min to wait for manager to deal with other customers who have same request. Guy always looks like he's running marathon and barely catching his breath while other staff just sit and joke around or do nothing. They cannot take payments - only that one manager, which is extremely strange as everyone looks adult. It almost seems as if you could just stand up and leave without paying if you really wanted, and nobody would care. I wanted to throw my money but nobody wanted to take it. My advice to anyone who comes here: once you're done eating/drinking, perhaps snap your fingers and call someone with gestures if you want more, or perhaps just stand up and go to cash register immediately after you decide to pay, nobody is going to come for it.

Great place to try Georgian cuisine; food is tasty, service was great and vibe is good with the location itself. This place was highly recommended to us and I would echo that sentiment. The food is well prepared and good value for the quality. We got the Georgian Classic for two, which allowed us to try the Imeruli Cheese Pie (the pizza looking dish), Beef & Pork Hinkali (Georgian dumplings), grilled pork chops with homemade fries and dips. The amount and quantity hit the spot, just make sure you come hungry. As per the only comments, there is already a service charge added on there, but they also ask if you want to add service charge so there is a negative there to bear in mind. However, this does not deter the overall food and dining experience. Worth noting we did not book a reservation, but would be worth doing so if it is a nice weather and you want to sit outside.

One of the best Georgian restaurants we've tried. Friendly staff. Big menu. Lots of wine and Hardee liquor. Indoor and outdoor seating. All high quality, you can tell its legit Georgian food. Highly recommend!

Pleasantly impressed with the restaurant! Very tasty dishes and nice large portions. I recommend the meat platter- it had from everything enough and cooked till perfection. The bread is also not to be missed.I tried hinkali in both ways boiled and fried. Boiled are favorite! Kind and attentive service.

We loved this place! The location was wonderful and cosy, and we were stunned by the gorgeous view on the St. Stephen’s basilica. The food tasted divine! We ordered chicken Mtsvadi, which was incredibly tasty, and the bread boat with tomato and basil was to die for! We highly recommend the Georgian pomegranate lemonade. The waitress was kind and friendly. We had such a beautiful evening. It’s a must try!

Delightful experience. Never had Georgian food before. I highly recommend that everyone try it. A little expensive by Budapest standards, but it was worth it. Great service. Nice outdoor dining across from the Basilica.
