This private dining was an experience of a lifetime. The host and Chef were very impressive! The house itself is comfortable and well arranged. The food and wine were terrific in every way. The plating was quite inventive, and the flavors of each dish pleasantly surprised us and left us wanting more! I would recommend it to all my friends and go again!

I struggle to find any suggestion that would make the experience better… These two are real gems and this place is what I’ll keep with me from this trip to Budapest. Amazing food prepared by amazing people.

Zincenco was without doubt the best culinary experience of my life. This was like hiring a world class chef to make your dinner at home. A truly sensational set menu paired with beautiful wines created a dining evening so special I doubt it will ever be bettered. The restaurant itself is just a delight. It's tasteful and intimate, creating a very special atmosphere the second you arrive. Igor and Zaida worked ever so hard to present an evening my wife and I will never forget. It was more than a meal. It was a five hour experience that I cannot do justice to in this review. I want to thank them both deeply for a truly unforgettable night. And to the other guests we shared the dining room with, I thank you all.

This small appartment restaurant is such a special treat. It's a cozy atmosphere (there's space for only 14 people), they're super attentitve und unpretentious. The courses were beatifully arranged, a fresh take on classic Hungarian dishes and delicious! It's hard to say which dish was our favourite, but we were really reminded of our chilhood with the dessert 😄 It was fun to talk to the other guests and the restaurant owners! We lived getting recommendations for what to visit in Budapest.

We enjoyed the third time a wonderful dinner. The concept of the living room restaurant is really great. If you are interested you are more than welcome to look over the chefs shoulders while meals get prepared. Every course is prepared and arranged with many details and a lot of love. Totally recommended!

I wanted to put a few words together in regards to my and my sister’s experience at this wonderful place , when we visited in May 2023. What a night it was! We visited Budapest purely as a food trip/experience. The apartment was stylish decorated with a touch of simplicity, and we liked the feel of the room, the cosy lights and the open kitchen areas where you could follow the process making of the food. The food was amazing, beautifully presented and the wine was divine. We went for the Hungarian wine menu, and it was such a pleasant surprise - paired perfectly to the food. The hosts, Igor and his partner, was incredibly attentive and made time for all their guests. Any information about the food and wine was presented and answered to the smallest detail, and out of all the restaurants (and the Michelin restaurants in Budapest we tried) this was by far the best experience. We cannot recommend this place enough!!

An amazing culinary experience. Igor and Zaida made us feel completely at home and then prepared an absolutely exquisite tasting menu. The quality of the food and Hungarian wine pairings is second to none. We were there with just one other couple, so there was also a lot of time to chat with both Igor and Zaida to find out some of the tips and tricks in how they prepare the dishes. This is a must-do experience for any foodies visiting Budapest.

The apartment concept with Igor’s and Zaida’s hospitality, the food with finesse and regional ingredients, and the perfect Hungarian wine pairing - easily one of my best culinary experiences ever. Highly recommend it, will come back!

I never write reviews but felt compelled after an incredible night at Zincenco. We had a private team dinner here and received the best service and food. They were extremely accommodating and it was a super cozy chic atmosphere. I would highly recommend if you're looking for an intimate venue for a dinner.

We had the most amazing dinner experience. There were 13 persons in the apartment restaurant. The intimate experience was carried out by the sweet couple. They have this amazing little gem, they cherish so much and their passion is carried out through the food and wine, that is served. Everything in perfect harmony, from the well balanced and beautiful arranged dishes to the wine pairing menu. All guests arrived at 7:00 pm and finished by midnight. All customers left with a feeling, of being an appreciated and special guest at this apartment dinner. I can not recommend this experience enough, go have one yourself.

We had a huge crush on this restaurant and the concept! We had a real blast, everything was absolutely perfect, from Igor and Zaida's welcome, to the decor of the flat, the lighting, and of course the meal and the wines... What can I say, we were very pleasantly surprised with each dish, dishes prepared under our eyes to perfection, a mixture of flavours that was just incredibly well thought out, it was excellent, succulent, a real pleasure! Bravo to Zaida! With each new dish we were entitled to taste a new wine, which was always a perfect match... Igor was so available and so kind... We loved this experience, because yes, it is a real experience to live, it was not just going to yet another restaurant. We will definitely come back, at the end we complimented Zaida for the very high quality of her cooking, and we could see that she was a bit embarrassed to receive these compliments, she is very humble and kind too. A big thank you to both of you, we had an unforgettable evening... Come on, I say it, the best restaurant I have ever eaten in... Go for it!

Amazing fine dining experience like being at a private dinner party for a maximum of 12 people. Greated with a welcome glass of fizz, the hosts then take you through the whole menu, locally produced and sourced food prepared to a Michelin star standard, paired with local wines that match the palate wonderfully. Something very special that makes you feel special too. If you want a larger, more expensive experience with a Michelin starred restaurant 'go ahead' but if you want the same, creative, beautifully presented and exquisite tasting food in a personal, friendly and relaxing environment this is a must for any foodie. This will be an experience you will not forget! They definitely deserve the 5 stars as the experience is hard to criticise or find fault with. We loved the soup especially. We went there for my girlfriend's birthday. The whole atmosphere was cozy and chic, yet not forced. Igor and Zaida were excellent hosts and you could really feel that they were passionate about the food. Each item on the menu was succulent, the presentation was clean and elegant. The food was tasty, fresh and original. I would definitely recommend for anyone who's interested in Hungarian fine dining.

A fantastic fine dining experience. Igor and Zaida have combined the warmth and informality of a “supper club” with high end food and service. The set menu is expensive but the wine pairing is good value and overall, if you’re looking for a memorable and different restaurant experience in Budapest- this is strongly recommended. Be aware that because they cater for a small number of guests in one sitting, they do not provide vegetarian / vegan alternative dishes.

We had a lovely dinner and wine pairing at Zincenco in August! The restaurant is small and cozy. Seats about 12 people. It is a six course dinner and lasts about 5 hrs. There’s a courtyard to walk around in between courses if you’d like to get up. The evening was wonderful and the food was remarkable. Make reservations in advance!

Fantastic dining experience whilst in Budapest. Zaida is an absolutely fantastic chef & baker! Igor is an extremely friendly host. The experience does last 5 hours which does seem like a long time but it didn’t feel too long! Every course was out of this world, you could go up and watch food be made, plated & ask questions. Only 12 people per night so definitely need to pre book! Definitely book this fine dining experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We’re so so glad we chose to spend our tenth anniversary here, it was extremely special. Igor and the team were attentive, friendly and charming. It was a real opportunity to see behind the scenes of fine dining in a warm, unpretentious setting. They’ve really achieved the fabulous dinner party with friends vibe. And absolutely fabulous food and thoughtfully paired wine. Thank you for such an incredible evening, it’s one we’ll never forget.

This is the place for special occasions. We were celebrating birthday there with my partner. The food was the most delicious that I have ever eaten in my whole life. The service was excellent, professional, and very careful. The attention that all the guests receive there is next-level catering service. We chose also the wine selection next to our dinner, which fitted perfectly with all the courses that came in. I can recommend this restaurant the most. If you want to have an ultimate dinner experience in the heart of Budapest, you will not be disappointed. Huge greetings to Zaida and Igor. We won't ever forget this birthday. Simply the best!

What a wonderful place! The food is really good: surprising and balanced. They stay close to Hungarian kitchen, but with a modern twist. The Hungarian wine pairing is really good, the wines are tasty and they perfectly complement the dishes. The atmosphere is unique, it’s cosy and it truly feels like dinner at a friends place and Igor does everything to make the guests feel welcomed. Definitely recommended!

Это отвал башки! I suggest visiting this restaurant now until it gets a Michelin star, and there will be a waiting list for six months in advance! Although only 2 people work in the restaurant, everything here is brought to perfection. Not only food but also the atmosphere and serving, communication, and wine pairing. Yes, it's not the cheapest place, but it's worth it.

We have celebrated our 1st Wedding Anniversary at this Restaurant yesterday. Well what can I say. Absolute Perfection. The Ambiente, The Service, the Food, the Wines. Everything was a 10/10. I will recommend to everyone who enjoys high quality food with amazing taste experiences paired with a family ambient in a beautiful apartment together with amazing wines.

I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. This restaurant is set in the living room of an apartment trucked away on an unassuming back street. It has only about 5 tables and a very intimate feel. It is clearly a very loved restaurant. Every detail is so thoughtful and considered. The food was exceptional, and the overall atmosphere was less sterile than the majority of tasting menus I've tried. It was refreshingly casual, and there weren't too many additional amuse bouches and filler courses, so for once, I didn't end up leaving overly full. If you're into food, this is probably the most unique eating experience you will find in Budapest, and it is worth it alone for how unique it is. Be aware it's an eating experience - it takes four hours from start to finish. Worth every second.
