The worst and most recist experience ever，Ithe Asian waiter who can speak mandarin was very rude！ I went to Bubble Waffle coffee in Lougheed town for lunch with my friend. he went to order and I wanted to step in to find a dine-in seat (there was no waiter at the door to tell us where the dine-in line should be). I saw an empty seat with a server cleaning next to it and wanted to go over and ask if I could sit, when a asian male staff member came up to me and said, "You need to wait outside and get in line. Although not very polite, but I still went to the queue with my friend , waited for a while when it was our turn, we said we wanted to dine-in, the male staff said, dine-in needed to be wait outside , I need to clean up the table for 20 minutes. I was a bit surprised and asked if the table next to me was almost finished cleaning. There is another table just finished dining, but it does not take 20 minutes to clean up the table, he said it takes that long, the table has been cleaned up is for another guest. I asked if we could order first and then wait for the table after. He said no, dine-in must to find a seat first and then order ( I was not told when I'm looking for a seat at first time that the line was not for dine-in orders) my friend and I then "obeyed" and went outside to wait. and it turns out that there were no other customers in front of us, and it didn't take him twenty minutes to clean up. After a few minutes we went in and sat down, my friend asked him for the order papaers, and he said very rudely that can't you see the order papers are everywhere. So we went to get one ourselves, and after finished writing what we needed on the order paper, my friend held up the paper and tried to pass it to the waiter. This time the man came over again and said, "I'm very busy now, I don't have time to order for you, you either wait 20 minutes, if you don't want to wait can go!" The ladies at the table next to him were superised when he said this, and the behavior was very shocked to everyone, because even if he was busy, he can take the order paper first and take it to the list and enter it into the system later. my friend didn't want to argue with him, so he stood up and tried to hand the order sheet to a woman who was ordering for the table next to him. The woman had just finished ordering for the table next to us. The more Drama thing came, this time this man ran from the counter and chased after us, and shouted while running: "Stop!" to make us stop, and he said: "We are very busy now, I am not serving you, please go out." By this time I was so angry that I stood up and argued with him, saying: "Why should we go out? We lined up to order and you told us to go out and wait, we also went out and waited, and wrote our own orders, and you didn't take them? You don't take our orders but keep giving orders to other new people in line? Is it a racist？ He just kept repeating I won't serve you! Threatened us and told us to get out or he would call security! I said you call it, I will also call the police to report your behavior, and then he called security to let us out

very bad customer service, we already waited in the line for 10 minutes, and want to dine in, the server told us to wait another 15 minutes for dine in which is OK, when we seated down,and want to take orders, obviously there is an another waitress that is responsible for take dining in orders, when we want to talk to the waitress that we want to take orders, this guy come directly to the waitress regardless how busy he was at that time, and said to her, do not take them orders, let them wait, in the meantime, he is taking other's orders. and talked to us if you don't want wait, you can leave, we argued to him why he didn't want to take our order, he said he called the security and don't want to serve us, LOL this guy obviously lost his mind, he should never be a waiter if he thinks he can not handle customers.

They have the worst customer service ever! It seemed like they did not want to have any customers and didn't seem to want us around at all. We read the sign for take out saying to wait for the staff to give you your order instead of grabbing it yourself so we waited but they never gave us the order until we went with the receipt to ask for it. We were the only ones waiting for our order so it seems strange that they would wait to hand it to us. The food was ok, the chicken seemed like it had more skin than meat and the milk tea was fairly bitter. A little more attention to the customers would go a long way.

Don't expect any good customer service at all, taro drink had no sugar and was tasteless. Pearls are hard. Order online and get 10% off and eat at the food court, you will enjoy it more than sitting in and needing to pay tip that you don't want to.

Great location for bubble waffle. They seem to have an extended menu compared to the other locations as well. With the hurricane potato and other snacks and more flavours for drinks

Worst customer service you can experience. The owner is racist. They only serve ppl who speak English and Cantonese. If you speak mandarin, they're gonna ignore you, yell at you, give you looks that seems like you don't deserve to eat. Honestly food quality is also bad, I'm wondering what keeps this store running???? NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Thought I'd post here since there's alot of bad reviews on this location. I been here many times and foods been consistent and portions are good. Service is pretty good. I do agree they do put alot of ice in the drinks so technically you get less drink. Overall it's good.

Always love their waffles and bubble waffles. Glad that this outlet opened! I’ll say it’s definitely good place to hv a quick meal, tasty and very reasonably priced. Will be one of my favourite eateries for sure! Staffs are very friendly!

This bubble waffle cafe is by far the worst one I've been to. They used to be below average but at least "satisfactory" when craving for a bubble waffle. However, the past half a year, the quality again went down and the only thing that went up is the price. I would not recommend this place. The bubble waffles are often premade and left on a warming plate for the next customer who orders. Drink wise, their milk tea and lemon tea are diluted with water and ice making it tasteless.

Terrible service, I wanted to put my stuff down and eat but was told to only do take out. Why did I tip you if I was doing take out? Why can't I at LEAST have the option to dine in? Drinks were fine and restaurant was clean but the food was premade and so cold and stale. I expect my stuff fresh, especially for the price I paid! Their food is usually good.. When it's fresh.. The rotato tasted like a sweet potato, I don't mind it but just a heads up if you don't like that.

They have a cheap breakfast deal for 6.99! Runs from 10-1130am Service is a like a typical hk Cafe.

Warning! Very tasty food. I come here at least 4 times per week, and I wanna say I’m a pretty picky eater. It’s sad to see such a bad rating, while in reality the food is amazing. This place has the tastiest soups. My favorite are laksa, chicken and Chinese spice chicken. I also love the fact that I can choose different toppings, like beef, hainaniese chicken or chicken dumplings. Also personally, the portions are big, so usually I take a half to go, and have a dinner for that day👍 Personally I’m not interested neither in waffles nor in bubble tea, so I cannot comment on these options, but the food is very tasty and comforting. The owner of the place is an amazing person, listens to desires and always trying to make all best, I truly appreciate!

Very unwelcoming. They don't allow you to sit if you are for takeout. You are not allowed to pick a straw because you you ordered a hot drink. Straws are kept only for cold drinks. Very annoying! I have been to Bubble Waffle Cafe at other places. They gave better service.

Words cannot describe the insults and disappointments I got from this place. The first incident happened a while back when they used to give stamp card. I did not want to bring it up but this place just has some of the worse customer services. Again now they made a mistake on my order, normally a simple apology would solve it but they made it a point that I was in the wrongs.. seriously I am a avid fan of the bubble waffle chain and have been for years its normal that my stamp cards are always full. Its my usual diner hall. This is the only location that did not only just denied my cards but said I stamped them myself? Are you fscking serious? Never coming here again. They say you are only as good as who you are. Either hire better employees or expect no business from existing loyal customers.

Put your favoritr ingradiants with you loved style of noodles, the place is simple, yet to me, it is one of the best noodle restautant in lower mainland. It is not a fine dinning place but a cute space for simple meals and delicious waffles. If you are a noodle lover and looking for deliciouse bites of noodles, come to this place, you wont be disappointed. ☺️

Waffle tastes good but their customer service sucks. Dirty trays everywhere, poor hygiene and no respect for customers.

Drink was good, noodle had the smallest portion of meat possible amd was not worth the $12.50.

My 8 years old wanted to try their waffles, however did not have a chance to do this as she was turned away due to vaccine passport requirements. Even though this is not a restaurant with service, but more a fast food style. Well, they lost us as customers even after the requirements will be lifted in a week as we will remember this horrible experience for a long time.

Absolutely terrible service. Old guy at the counter has an irritating attitude. All I did was ask a simple question on the food combo pricing and his first response was "OK first of all, do you want to eat in or takeaway?" in an annoyed manner. And he took us to a table with a paper slip on it and gestured to read it through as if we were stupid. Not answering my SIMPLE question. Usually, in Bubble Waffle Cafes, you order at the counter because it's a "cafe", not a dine-in restaurant. And the menus were even displayed outside and next to the counter. I guess this slaphead got his nerves struck when I assumed it was the same here. Probably explains why this specific location is so empty. Bubble Waffle generally is packed in other branches. In the end, I just walked out because my appetite magically vanished. If any of you reading this are on a weight-loss diet and looking for ways to combat your urges of eating out, just come to this place!

Not Cheap enough to get Food Poisoned ( or free for that matter) HONEST PERSON! I ordered the chicken nuggets and a couple of hours layer that same day I got diarrhea, food poisoned. This just didn't happen at the same place. A month apart, I ordered the same and also got wrecked..... MetroTown & Lougheed Malls.... . . . Looks good(ish). Tastes okay. WRECKED. Aberdeen mall makes it best. But each makes it differently? Anyways not eating at either again... All other reviews are correct. Sorry to those who gave 5 stars (maybe you give them too much credit..)

Super tasty lamb and dry noodles…ready in less than 5 minutes..although noodle not dry at all haha also, the mushrooms was a surprise and is this elastic band supposed to be in the meal????

Poor customer service and soup was blend. I was waiting in the line while the cashier was staring at the order machine and doing nothing for at least 5 minutes. And then a mother and daughter cut in the line and ordered to go. I think she finally noticed there’s a line in front of restaurant, she goes what’s your order. It was a lady behind me said we have not been seated yet. My order was served very quickly. Milk tea and fish noodle soup. However, the soup broth was very blend. I think the cook just put noodles, fish and toppings into water and boil. It’s not fish soup, which I was disappointed. The only star I would give to a female server, who said thank you, when I walked out of the restaurant.

My wife and I had noodles for brunch here. Taste delicious and they put a lot of beef in the noodle also my chicken is proper size. I’d say its still within proportion considering the price which is really cheap. Bear in mind their location is inside mall which usually price is a lot higher. The owner is really nice to us.

Ordered the chicken steak rice combo with drink. The menu is deceiving. Photo looked large and came with corn, carrots, broccoli chicken steak and a bowl of rice but when I got the dish, it came in a small takeout container with only two broccoli pieces and no corn or carrots as advertised. Never coming here again.

I saw a lot of bad reviews so decided to visit this place while I was shopping. The food was pretty good. I'd give it a solid 8.5/10. I ordered some chicken nuggets and a slushie. The chicken nuggets were delicious! I honestly do not know why there are numerous bad reviews as the customer service was good.

After eating at this location and comparing it to the standard of the same place at coquitlam centre, I can confidently say that the lougheed bubble waffle cafe location cheaps out on over 50% of what you should be getting and are paying for. The drink size is less than HALF of what you get for the same price at coquitlam centre, also they will serve you bubble waffles that are cold and soggy, not crispy at all, and tell you its freshly made and come up with some poor excuse that they need tk let them cool down prior to serving them. My drink is 80% ice. And even the sizing of the cup is a small, compared to the standard medium size you get from any other restaurant. DO NOT COME HERE. You are wasting your time and money
