    I have been training with head trainer Jayson since 2015 when I was at my worst shape ever in my life! He helped motivate and inspire me to get achieve my best health and physique 2 years in a row for 2018 and just recently 2019! Along with hard work and consistency on my end he also did personal meal plans for me which is also a major key factor that was very beneficial to my health! All the trainers are very friendly, knowledgeable and positively energetic which is what you want from your personal trainer that cares! I would highly recommend coming in to train with #teamupliftfitnessltd and start your fitness goals now!

    Uplift has changed the way I thought having to workout felt. The positive environment the trainers create in the studio for each client keeps you motivated and wanting to come back for more and continue the fitness journey. The vibe in the studio is always a party where work gets done! Jayson, is by far the goofiest BUT best trainer I have had, he caters to my individual needs and wants as an athlete. He makes sure you know what needs to get done but does it in a way that makes it fun and motivating. He’s stern when need be, but a goof ball 95% of the time! I highly recommend the Uplift team to anyone out there looking for a trainer and gym they can workout at and feel comfortable and taken care of with that family vibe.

    I HIGHLY recommend Uplift Fitness! I have been training with Anu for years and can honestly say she is the most knowledgeable, hardworking and dedicated trainer I have ever had!     Joining Uplift Fitness has honestly been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I came to Jayson in January 2018 when I felt my worst, I wanted to gain weight and also feel more confident about myself. Jayson has done it all, customized meal plans, boxing, weight lifting, mobilizing and even cupping therapy! He has helped me get to my goal weight and physique and never gave up. He believes in his clients and only wants the best for them. That's what makes Jayson and all of the other trainers at Uplift Fitness the best of the best! Come down for a good time 👏🏽 working out doesn't need to be a hassle or a chore. Jayson will make it fun and something you will look forward to every time. I know coming in for my training sessions is something I wait for every week! I definitely would recommend anyone to come and meet one of the trainers at Uplift and start their fitness journey 😊

    When I first started going to this gym a few months ago I wanted to change my workout routines and educate myself more on my body. I can truthfully say that ever since I have been having doing the one on one training sessions with my trainer (jay) I have been able to break barriers with myself and see the results! It’s not where you workout that matters, it’s how you workout! I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a little motivation because the entire staff that works there is no knowledgeable, experienced and fun to be around!

    I REALLY needed to get back in shape. I've been training here since 2018. There’s nothing I love more than feeling welcome in a place where I’m trying to better myself! Everyone here is so awesome and full of knowledge. You can tell that everyone is passionate about what they're doing and they love helping others. Their meal plans work! I learned why nutrition was important and how to use it towards building muscle and then to cut fat. It was such a game changer! Jay is an amazing coach and I'll be using him for the rest of my life!

    As someone who didn’t go to the gym and knew very little about strength training, I learned so much in just under one year of training with Uplift. Jayson and his team are both personable and professional. They would tailor each program according to your unique needs and pain points. I learned that you are definitely stronger than you think, and that if you are consistent, you’ll be surprised with your progress and how positively it impacts your day to day. A huge bonus is that Uplift has the BEST culture, making work outs truly enjoyable!

    Uplift is one of the best and friendly gyms in my neighbourhood that I have been training for over a year now. I really enjoy the personalized and carefully customized sessions that I look forward to each time. I am really impressed by Tyler's ability to remember any little detail and alter our program every week to make sure I get the most out of it while being mindful of my injuries.     I’ve been training with Mervin at UPLIFT, discovered through social media. His approach is detail-oriented, which shows his genuine care for individual needs. Workouts are always tailored, focusing on form and technique to maximize benefits and avoid injuries. This individualization has greatly contributed to my fitness progress. I’ve already recommended him and the Uplift to several friends, and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again. The combination of his professional expertise, interpersonal skills, and dedication makes the training experience both effective and enjoyable.

    Dedicated trainers, easy to book sessions, reasonable prices. I was looking for a gym near my place with Personal trainers, and Uplift was a great fit. The trainers are very flexible and schedules are managed through a mobile app so it’s easy to check. Merv, my trainer, matches my styles and working schedule. He’s hard working, and easy to work with. He can accommodate my odd hours at nights and weekends. Sometimes, he pairs me with another client with the same vibe. I’m happy with the training package and willing to recommend my friends.

    Have always wanted to gain muscle to improve my general health and help with my archery. Started training with Jayson after some lower back trouble made me nervous to do any sort of weightlifting by myself. After a few months, i have way more confidence in my form, less anxiety about accidental injury, and a better understanding of weightlifting in general. Not to mention the improved strength i see day to day. I really appreciate the focus on correcting muscle imbalances, as my sport is naturally imbalanced. I definitely recommend Uplift, always great vibes.

    I really loved my time at Uplift Fitness! After about 20 years off from the gym/ training, I went to Uplift to begin my new life. Jay and his staff are top notch, good people, and know their stuff! I’m down over 30lbs in 4 months, and building/ shaping my muscles. Any need you may have for diet/ nutrition/ fitness, they will have a solution for you! And all in a non intimidating, relaxed and friendly setting! I can’t recommend these guys enough, and I’m so glad I made the choice to start here! It’s a can’t miss!

    Uplift Fitness is an amazing place to gain knowledge and work towards your fitness goals. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to seriously make some lifestyle improvements. From fitness, to meal preparation these trainers are dedicated to help you reach your goals. I have been training with Jay for nearly a year now, and not only has he helped me learn more about how my body works in regards to my diet he has also helped me put on some lean muscle mass. He has helped me correct my form in deadlifts and squats, and taught me not to be afraid of carbs. He is extemely humorous and very friendly. Weather you’re a beginner or a long time gym junkie, Uplift Fitness can always add value to your life.

    I highly recommend this gym and this team. Everyone at Uplift Fitness is positive, encouraging and welcoming. There are a variety of trainers that are ready to help you reach your goals or to help you set and define your goals. I am proud to be trained by Jayson. I joined Uplift Fitness with the goals of gaining strength and confidence after several months out of the gym. That is exactly what I’ve gained. Jayson is motivating and exceptionally good at correcting form and setting you up for your best lift every session. I finish every session feeling inspired and driven. Whatever you’re looking for, this team has got you, please check them out!

    The trainers at Uplift are down to earth, honest, and treat you like family. Uplift has helped me reach goals I’d never thought were possible. I have never had someone (Aljon) have so much faith in me. The environment and positive attitudes is seriously what separates them from any other gym. The minute I walk in, I’m accepted and motivated. If you sleep on them, dw, you will regret it.

    Training with Uplift has been the best decision I've ever made for myself and my health. I always had an on and off relationship with the gym. While I was capable of going to the gym and doing workouts on my own, I always thought that the lower back pain I experienced was regular muscle soreness from my workout. Training with Jayson taught me the importance of posture and helped me become more conscious of how my diet affects my overall physique, weight and well-being. Because of Jayson, I was able to get to my ideal weight and can finally say I love shopping again because I don't feel ashamed of how my body has transformed over the years. I've never had a trainer that made me feel like my success was theirs as well and I'm forever grateful! Thank you for continuing to push my limits, for keeping me accountable and for believing in me.     I came from Montreal and I wanted to find myself a trainer for the duration of my time in Vancouver. I really enjoyed my uplift experience. Jayson really took the time to explain every workout we did and what areas it would benefit in putting on lean muscle and toning. I had a trainer back in Montreal whom which I paid twice the price, and she did nothing compared to the work that Jayson does. He explained to me all the positions for all my exercises, and even taught me to stretch before and after my workouts. I was very nervous at first as English is not my first language but Jayson was very patient with me and explained things until I understood. Workout aside he has very good energy and is an extremely humerus person who pushes you to do your best. Jayson and his staff deffinitley UPLIFT their clients. I loved my experience and I really recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about fitness or just start somewhere. Je venais de Montréal et je voulais me trouver un entraîneur pour la durée de mon séjour à Vancouver. J'ai vraiment adoré mon expérience .Jayson a vraiment pris le temps d'expliquer chaque entraînement et chaque position.J'avais un entraîneur à Montréal à qui j'ai payé le double du prix, et elle n'a rien fait comparé au travail de Jayson. Il m'a expliqué toutes les positions pour tous mes exercices et m'a même appris à m'étirer avant et après mes séances d'entraînement. Au début, j'étais très nerveuse, l'anglais n'étant pas ma langue maternelle, Jayson a été très patient avec moi et m'a expliqué les choses jusqu'à ce que je comprenne. il a une très bonne énergie et est une personne extrêmement positive qui vous pousse à faire de votre mieux. Jayson et ses collaborateurs définissent UPLIFT pour leurs clients.     The first time I passed by Uplift studio, I looked for it on Google, and after a phone talk, I didn't hesitate to go and try it! Best thing I could have done! I have been training with Tyler! My personal experience there only further solidifies and reinforces this reputation. The facility itself is top-notch, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality. But what truly sets Uplift Fitness apart is its staff and how friendly everyone is, in particular my trainer, Tyler Leung. Tyler is, without a doubt, an exceptional fitness trainer. His expertise in the field is evident from the first session. He possesses a deep understanding of different exercise techniques, muscle groups, and how to tailor workouts to individual needs and goals. I have struggled maintaining the regimen needed to achieve my goals but with his help I've slowly been on my way there! One of the most impressive aspects of training with Tyler is his ability to make each session enjoyable. Fitness journeys can often be challenging and sometimes boring, but Tyler's approach incorporates a mix of humor, encouragement, and variety in exercises that keeps the sessions fresh and engaging.     My experience at uplift has been so great. All the staff have been super friendly and welcoming. My trainer Jeremiah was very supportive with helping me with my training goals and teaching me the proper skills of weight training, as well as 1 on 1 boxing sessions that are super fun. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone that doesn’t know where to start on their fitness journey.

    I've been going to Uplift for a while now, and I absolutely love it. My trainer Tyler is exceptional, he helped me achieve my goal of gaining muscle (12 LB in two months), and I've also seen significant improvement on my sports perfomance. The personalized workouts and guidance have yielded amazing results, and I am happy with my progress. I would Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch fitness experience, and my trainer Tyler who truly cares about your success.

    I’ve always been up and down with my weight and never found the ability to stay consistent. The first time I walked into a gym, I circled around staring at equipment and left because I didn’t know what to do. That’s when I decided to find a personal trainer! Jelaina helped me reached more than the original goals I came in with. I can now go to the gym on my own, I feel so much more confident and she helped tone my body! I am so happy our paths crossed. I highly recommend Uplift if you have gym anxiety or don’t feel confident working out. It’s a great place to start!

    I heard about uplift through a friend, and Mervin has been taking care of me. With his help I’ve been reaching my fitness goals 1 by 1. It’s nice because he creates such a fun and judgement free environment, and is always there to answer my questions if I need help with anything, from training to nutrition.     I have been training with Jay at Uplift for about 3 months now and it has been the BEST investment I could've made long term. I used to be someone that didn't know anything about weights, strength training and believed in strict diets. Jayson changed ALL of this. He knows my strength and threshold better than my own self, Uplift focuses on taking your weaknesses whether they are mental or physical and turns them into your strengths. Whenever I walk into Uplift, its with the upmost confidence, not intimidating at all like how I felt first walking into a gym. Jayson's precision is impeccable, this guy has all the patience in the world and won't let you leave until you get your form right. He really believes in his clients and is constantly there whenever I had a question. I highly recommend Uplift, from their positive and welcoming environment to extensive knowledge about nutrition and fitness - they really are the whole package. Thank you Uplift! Update October 2020: In addition to the above, Jayson and Anu have brought down my scoliosis by 70% and improved my posture drastically. Prior to this, doing any exercises that involved my lower back was out of the question but gradually over time, with the help of their corrective exercises i was able able to overcome this.

    I was looking for a new personal trainer and uplift was the first one that popped up. Training with uplift has been one of the best decisions because the trainers here are way better than any other trainer I’ve had. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone wanting a trainer that is worth the money and actually knows what they are doing.

    I knew uplift from google map, then I went to the gym and met Jason . After talking to him, I felt this gum should be a good choice to start my personal training. The result turned out to be true. According to my experience there , I would recommend him because he is very professional , his training got me fast result which was beyond my expectations. Furthermore , the workout atmosphere and environment is very enthusiastic and motivating. If you are seeking a good gym and coach, go for uplift, it shouldn’t be wrong. Jacky

    I was looking for a personal trainer for getting into shape before my wedding and I came across Uplift fitness!!! This is the best choice I have ever made. My trainer Jayson, who is also the owner of the Burnaby location, is so energetic and passionate about training his clients. Whether you are seeing him in the morning or end of the day, he is having same energy level during each session which is so commendable. The atmosphere is so fun over there that you will never get tired!! He makes sure that all of his clients are doing exercises in proper form and he takes utmost care in guiding them through the process. I would really recommend my friends to give it a shot!!

    I made a decision to get training from coach Aljon of Uplift Fitness to achieve my fitness goals. Oh man did I make the right decision, not only did Aljon help me transform my body to my goal. He helped me do it in crazy time. In the span of 3 months I went from 225lbs to 175lbs. I highly recommend this place to anyone who just needs that extra push to get them to reach the goals they want to achieve. There's nothing more satisfying. With the proper work ethic and their help you'll hit your goals no problem.

    Learned and still learning so much from Uplift. Everyone's friendly and simply transforms and UPLIFTs your body &soul!!! Aljon's my personal trainer and he made me go over and beyond what I thought I couldn't do. I did my first proper sumo deadlift (that was my highlight). Also Aljon taught me sooo much corrective exercises and made me better understand my body and the movements. The team is disciplined, funny and the best motivator esp. on not so good days...really glad I found them.

    I have been going to Uplift for about 2.5 months now to see Aljon. The only thing that I can say is WOW! He is super keen on helping you achieve your fitness goals. With the work outs, the meal plans and the check ins. He does everything to make the process of healthy living easier! Now the shop, it may be small but the energy is HUGE. Everyone who works there is always so positive and so welcoming you feel part of the UpLift team the moment you walk through the door. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

    I was looking to become more active and since Uplift Fitness is right near my place I decided to check them out. I learned that Uplift Fitness is not a drop-in gym where you do your own workouts but they do provide personal training for all fitness levels. I decided personal training would be a good direction for me and signed up for a 12 session package. My trainer Liza was very knowledgeable and designed a good workout program for me. When I have done personal training in the past I usually found it to be far above my fitness level and got discouraged. Liza found exactly my level and we worked up from there. I looked forward to our appointments and was amazed at the progress I made in just a few weeks. Liza never failed to text me the day after a workout to see how I was doing and she always answered any questions that I had. The vibe at Uplift is relaxed and they treat their clients like family. I would recommend Uplift to anyone looking to start a fitness program or taking their fitness regime to the next level.

    I would highly recommend Uplift Fitness for any of your personal training, rehab or health needs. I have been a client of Uplift Fitness since it's inception and will continue to be one for the years to come. Jayson and his team are super professional, fun and have an extremely diverse knowledge base. It doesn't matter if you're trying to prepare for a competition, lose a few pounds, rehab old injuries or just live a better life. The energy when one trains there or enters is simply incredible. Between the training and the nutritional guidance and meal plans my life has changed for the better.

    Uplift Fitness is a great place to go if you’re unsure about what you want to do and how you want to improve yourself. The trainers there are always willing to help you with your personal needs, whether you want to simply lose wait, or get shredded. My personal trainer I worked with, Flixzl, was incredibly helpful when it came to my personal weight loss. I specifically asked for help losing weight as well as help teaching how to do some dumbbell workouts that I’d be able to personally use whenever I’m working out and he definitely pulled through. Not only did he show me the workouts, he went step by step to show me how to do every exercise, from form to how many reps per set I should do with specific weights. If I ever need help with getting back on track with my fitness journey, I’ll definitely be returning to uplift fitness.

    I heard about Uplift online & I decided to join up. I had a great experience at Uplift with my trainer Flixzl. He was easy going, made me feel welcomed and answered all my questions about fitness. Can’t even forget how much fun I had while I worked out. The whole experience was fantastic and I can’t wait to come back in the future! I definitely recommend UPLIFT to everyone and anyone interested in fitness ~

    I found Uplift through google because I was looking for a change. I went in completely green and admittedly nervous, and it didn't take long to feel at home training with JB. When you train at Uplift you get an experience you won't get at a big mainstream gym. It's intimate and it won't take long till all the other trainers and the wonderful owner Jay to know your name. It's the Cheers of fitness. I can not recommend it enough.

As Admin Manager of Uplift, I love the atmosphere, inspiring energy of the incredibly hard working trainers, and the fun family-like dynamic that so many businesses lack.     After going to the gym for a couple of months and not knowing what I was doing, I thought it'd be a good idea to try out working with a personal trainer. Thankfully Uplift was near my area so I decided to give it a shot. The personal trainer I worked with, Jayson was very knowledgeable and designed a detailed workout plan for me. Jayson knew exactly what level I was at regarding my fitness and we worked from there. He was extremely helpful when it came to strength training. Not only did he show me the workouts, but went through it step by step to ensure I maintain proper form when performing compound exercises, and other workouts. Training at Uplift has overall helped me become more confident when going to the gym. I would definitely recommend training at Uplift to anyone wanting to meet their fitness goals!

    I’ve been training with Jason for about the last 6-9 months. He has grown his business and team with the simple belief of taking care of and helping his clients grow. With trainers getting to know their clients it adds the personal touch, something that is definitely hard to find at regular commercial studios. I trust his knowledge and experience. Oh did I mention that the rest of my family trains with Uplift! Keep on growing Jason! Can’t wait to see Uplift in every province! Cheers!

    I worked with Mervin to help me lose weight and gain strength. I had no idea where to start but after working with Mervin I felt much more knowledgeable. I always looked forward to our sessions since he would always have a solution for my problems and the session felt personally tailored to my needs. Mervin and all the other uplift trainers were super friendly and made it a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend all trainers at uplift to anyone that needs help with fitness and nutritional advice!

    Had a great experience: 1) mikee provided a great workout (including dynamic warm-up and static stretch cool down) 2) customer service was great; he paid close attention to my form and quick to regress or progress an exercise 3) the place was clean; equipments were wiped down before and after use and put away neatly However, could be bigger and have more equipment 🤙

    Uplift has the greatest personal trainers. I have tried many other places, but no one puts in as much effort as the trainers here. I trained with Jelaina and she made a very detailed program for me that met all me needs ! She took into account my busy schedule and experience level. She also made detailed videos for me to do workouts at home. I’m so thankful to have been able to train with her at Uplift, looking forward to getting started again.
