To preface this numerically low rating, the food is fine. Its the experience that sucks. You are requested to wait outside whilst your order is processed. Yes, you may order ahead, but melty food isn't great. Grumblings were heard outside reminiscing of the good old days when you could sit inside. I agree with them. This seems to me like a convenience to the store owner to let the good times roll while the customers wait outside in the cold. Covid numbers are lower than summer last year. Its time to get back to the old normal, folks. I may be back when I am "allowed" to dine inside, not before.

Paradise for Vegans and people with Dairy-allergy! I have tasted many vegan desserts in my foodventures, and still, this place blew my mind! You can customize your sundae. I got Cookies & Cream, oreos, pretzel, peanut butter, and sprinkles. I can die happy now.

Absolutely delicious and so so yummy! And so much chocolate! Even though the brownie in my Sundae was glutton free, I didnโ€™t know until I was told. I chose chocolate and peanut sauce with vanilla icecream. The banana split was fantastic, and something from a nostalgic past with fresh toppings and real fruit.

Came here for dessert since itโ€™s one of the few places open late after our date night and saw some people waiting outside so thought to give it a try. We were quite disappointed with the ice cream/sundae. Had the cookies n cream and coffee crunch . Ice cream is nothing special and pricey $21 for both! Had high expectations but didnโ€™t enjoy our dessert this time. DQ blizzard wouldโ€™ve been more enjoyable than this.. surprised with the high ratings honestly. I do not recommend

Came here for the milkshakes and wasnโ€™t disappointed one bit! So yummy, and the shakes are so ice-creamy and milky. Will come back for the shakes and canโ€™t wait to try the float or their ice cream next time. So far, the verdict is good. Also love the look of the shop and everything!

Been coming here for a while now since 2014~ and I don't know why I haven't sat down and write a review for this place yet. Anyways, Glenburn Soda is literally the child in me placed into the middle of my neighbourhood. The colour and the decor aesthetic is literally from Archie's Comics back in the 70s-80s. It feels like I am literally in the panels of the comic book, and I could see Archie and the gang walking in from the front door any moment. I totally want a day to do a photo shoot in here with my friends in cosplay. That is how much I love the place. This is the perfect dessert place for a summer night with friends after hanging out at the beach or hanging out at the park in the neighbourhood. I just love coming here for a good banana split or a HUGE parfait ice cream, or a Root beer float. They offer a good selection of winter coffee as well and some other ice cream alternatives. They have a very good seasonal selection too for the autumn with Pumpkin Ice cream :3 I recommend coming here to experience everything, and I classify this spot as the PERFECT DATE NIGHT after dinner :D

The most delicious ice cream Iโ€™ve ever eaten. Do not go other places. Here is where you can find whatever you want. Oh my goodness, I canโ€™t tell how good are their ice creams๐Ÿ˜

We used to love going here, but lately the quality hasn't been great if I'm being honest. The milkshakes we had the last two times were watery and not the normal creamy and tasty texture we were used to. I'd recommend skipping it (especially since there's always a long line anyway!) at least until you can go sit inside again for the atmosphere.

I wanted something different than the typical Dairy Queen ice cream cake so I did some research and found this cute little shop that makes ice cream cakes. This has to be the best ice cream cake I have ever had in my life. I saw some chocolate peanut butter bars there today and I can't wait to go back to try one. Thank you for such a gorgeous looking cake, it was AMAZING!

I had the sweet and salty one, the ice cream was amazing, but the caramels was too much for me! If you like sweets go for it ๐Ÿ˜Š

Such a cute neighborhood spot for dessert! I feel like itโ€™s always busy in the evening but the lineup moves quick. We got the seasonal item to share. The Caramel Apple Pie Parfait is served in a 24oz cup. Layers of vanilla ice cream, Granny Smith apple pie filling, salted caramel and pie crumble. Topped with maple spiced whipped cream and more pie crumble. Super delicious and yummy. Be sure to mix it together and reach down with your spoon to get more apple!

The hype is very real. Old school sundaes, ice cream and floats. ๐Ÿง๐Ÿ˜‹ Be warned that it's (currently) takeout only and there doesn't seem to be a nice location nearby for sitting and enjoying a cold treat.

Best dessert place in Vancouver! I wish I can come here everyday for dessert but that won't be healthy. The prices look expensive but it is 100% worth it if you like ice cream. Service is nice and fast. The sundaes, ice cream, and milkshake all taste really good.

Ice cream is always great, you will really enjoy. Went for a visit during hats off day and there is a long line up. People know when its good, there is a line.

Like stepping into a time machine. They use all old equipment, and accessories. Feels authentic without being cheap and gimmicky. If you have a sweet tooth thereโ€™s something for everyone, even an impressive non-dairy menu. Fairly priced as well. Got a split to keep it classic, looks like something from a movie or a cartoon. Would recommend this place to everyone.

As an icecream lover, I decided to give this place a try and I ordered a banana split. It seemed a little pricey at $13 but you only live once. The quality was top shelf and the portion was substantial. They make their own sauces and their chocolate sauce reminded me of the homemade chocolate sauce my mom used to make when I was a kid, what a treat! Everyone in the store had a smile on their face, whether they were working there or enjoying their icecream. I'll definitely be going back and I look forward to trying some other options.

Great little ice cream shop. Our go to's are the milkshakes, malts, and the ice cream floats. Kids love going in and taking in the old school feel of the place and they always want a 25 cent candy or two. Awesome spot for some dessert

Just perfect! From the cookie they put on top, to the strawberry sauce on the bottom, no complaints! I had the Berry Queen and it was one of the best ice creams I ever had. The spot looks like a 50's dinner. The staff was friendly and fast. Prices are fair. Can't wait to come back and try all the other flavors

I have tried this place before, but more recently I have been trying out ice cream places and this one seems to be the best so far. Service was good. Atmosphere was very cute.

Nice old fashioned themed ice cream parlors. Small selection of base ice cream flavours but plenty of toppings and other goodies. Ice cream sandwiches and swag gear like insulated bags. Old candies and dog ice cream for sale. Friendly staff.

I was in charge of collecting donations for our staff on the Acute Medicine Unit for our end of year appreciation/celebratory party. Glebburn Soda was kind enough to donate gift cards which we gave away during our raffle draw to some of the happiest nurses and care aids! We are so appreciative of the support and kindness that businesses in our community show towards are healthcare workers. Thank you so much for thinking of us!

They do a lactose free banana split! They have daily free and lactose free options here! Everyone can enjoy Glenburn Soda. I love coming here. It's small and they hire local area students. It's awesome. Good local business.

Amaaaazing ice cream sundaes! We came for the #vanicecreamfest treats but will return for other special occasions. My partner loves how sweet and rich the desserts are! Also has a nostalgic vibe - throwback to the 30โ€™s with its decor. Update: The lack of one star is only because they donโ€™t have a lot of seating right now, but they mentioned on their Insta that more will be implemented soon.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ My favourite coffee shop in the city. Love FDL. Folks who know how to make coffee, and are super friendly. Delicious eats too. The croissants and other pastries are wonderful. Fresh, and melt in your mouth. The ice cream is also wonderful. Everything made fresh on the premises. Great loyalty points...

๐Ÿ‘ My family ordered Hazelnut Icecream and mudslide! The flavour of just ice cream is not that sweet (which we loved!) and if you do not choose any toppings, it tastes a bit blend for people! But with toppings, great ice cream. Staffs were nice, but one staff was just taking orders and another one was...
