I'm not sure how anyone thinks this is a great hotel. We stay in lots of hotels every year, and this one ranks as one of the worst. The elevator took forever to come. We thought we were going to have to take the stairs after already waiting at least 5 minutes. And there was no one around, so it's not like the elevator was really busy. Nope, just didn't work well. The room was very dated, the bottom of the tub was ROUND, making it difficult to stand in the shower. I can't imagine if we were older and/or had balance issues -- it would be a hard NO! Anyway, it said online there were mobile room keys (available on your phone -- yay!). Except that we arrived and went straight to our room, only to find that it didn't work. At all. Back down the elevator (that took forever) to the front desk. Said they'd been having trouble with the mobile room key system. No kidding. Remember how we stay in plenty of hotels all year? Well, we had another first here -- woke up in the morning to a clogged toilet. Wasn't clogged when we went to bed, but woke up and almost flooded the bathroom. And having to go to the lobby asking for a plunger when there were people everywhere for breakfast? More than embarrassing. NEVER had that happen ever. I don't think there was even ONE usb outlet in the room. The mattress on the sofa bed was stained (1/4 of the mattress) -- ewww. And we had to use it. Definitely needs updating to be worth the price paid. It was about equivalent to a 1990 Quality Inn room for a Hampton Inn price. No wonder it was $50 less than other nearby rooms. Bite the bullet and pay a little more for a decent hotel room. The bed was fine, and location was great. That's all of the good stuff. The breakfast area was way too small for all the people trying to eat at the same time.

We asked for a handicap room as my wife is in a wheelchair, we also said we would be traveling with a pet. Our original room was nat handicap accessible, and we were told there was no other room available. We said ok and started looking for another hotel, then they had one available. Then we were informed that we did not indicate we had a pet when we reserved our room online. And the pet deposit was actually double what we anticipated. We informed the person at the desk we did not reserve the room online, we did it over the phone with this specific location. And gave the name to the employee we spoke with. He was already gone for the day. Staff did give us the room with no pet deposit due to the mix up and an extra discount. The room was musky smelling with a cigarette smell, small and cramped. But the staff was accommodating to our needs

The free breakfast was poor to fair. Boiled eggs rubbery, sausage greasy, Fresh apples were old, banana’s were green. Breakfast area clean enough. Rooms extremely worn, mattress stained. Pool area provided was fairly clean, hot tub had disappointing jet pressure and was just warm. Exercise room didn’t open before 6:00 am. Needed to exercise prior to events of the day, unable to do so Most staff were friendly and welcoming, one man behind the desk was very unwelcoming. As Hilton Honor members, hotel fails to deliver the Hampton Inn standard.

Nothing wrong persay. Just plain . Bed is worse than most hotel beds and my key got deactivated twice. Check in was a breeze and was allowed to check in early. Plenty of outlets ! Wall thermostat for easy heat or air

Pretty nice hotel from the outside. I've never actually been inside, but hey, it's a Hilton. I was just driving by it to turn around and Google asked for a review. So, here ya go!

Had a reservation, arrived at 11pm and was told that because of no housekeeping that day no rooms were available. The front desk manager was incredibly helpful and found me a room at the Marriott next door. Sent message to Hilton and of course no response

Room was nice and clean but found a spider hanging from the bathroom curtain rod and took care of it. Not a big deal since they don't bother me.

I am a business traveler since 2013 so when I write reviews on here, It comes with experience. I am VERY upset that this hotel charged $453.11 for a thursday night and $459.46 for a friday night. I did not check the bill when i reserved it because I needed to see a client. When I saw the bill I was FURIOUS! It is an older Hampton with no appeal. You can tell that the owner does not care about the facility. Elevator #1 drops when it gets to a floor. The first time It did that, I used elevator #2. When I told the front staff about it, their response was that it has been doing that for over a year. So safety is not the owners responsibility nor do they care?????? I called my corporate office and placed a block on that hotel so that other visitors to the Minneapolis area will not use this hotel!!!!

An older hotel . Only 2 elevators in small area with a door. It was clean but needs updates. Ice machines only working on 2 floors.

Always a smile when you arrive. Also a bag for reward members. Dont forget your cookie. This location was such a nice and very clean establishment. Always a great breakfast. Nice clean rooms with lovely accommodations. Bathrooms are well stocked with towels etc. So well rested from our stay. Easy to book rooms. Love our Hampton Inn Hotels. Always a great experience here.

The rooms are outdated. The bathroom door wouldn't close and at checkout I was told I just had to lift the door to close it. My daughter had had surgery and couldn't lift. We booked thru Priceline and think we got the worst room because of it. The whirlpool was cold. Also there was a 5 dollar fee per night for parking that nobody told us about.

We travel around in the US and Canada, and this is the worst and dirtiest Hampton Inn we ever stayed. It’s already surprising when we checked in and saw the conditions of the facility. More surprises come when it’s time for breakfast. This is Motel 6, not Hampton Inn. The management, please do your job, rather than say sorry here and there to the reviews.

We reserved a standard room and it ended up being 2 full beds. My partner asked if we could get a king suite and we were upgraded with no charge and no questions asked. Where ever your room is, there are exits to either parking lot which was great. For being right next to the interstate, we didn't hardly hear it at all which was very surprising.

We were very surprised at how much we enjoyed our stay here. For the price of our room we expected it to be lacking in comfort and amenities. We completely wrong. The room was great and the beds were comfy. The pool area was under construction but the actual pool was clean and well maintained. They switched the breakfast every morning and even though there wasn’t a fully stocked gourmet kitchen the lady who cooks there was pumping out some good stuff. (There is an amazing little breakfast place nextdoor if you want to change it up one day.) The staff was friendly and the area was safe and secure. It was a good 15-20 min drive to Minneapolis but was well worth it.

When we went for breakfast w had to wait for food because housekeeping took all the food during breakfast. When I mentioned this to front desk they just looked at me with disgust. I am an employee for hilton and never complain. There was not body wash in the shower either.

The Hampton Hilton forgot about, have stayed at 100+ Hamptons, this location hasn't been updated compared to the normal Hampton benchmark. Will likely be sold down to red roof or super 8 as is the way when they age out of the Hilton brand.

Manager and staff were extremely accommodating when we arrived too early! Our stay was very pleasant and the complementary breakfast items were very fresh.

We arrived early after 11 hour drive. Needed to freshen up before visiting with Father if 9 traveling from different states es . Ohio Chicago. Indianapolis . Staff was arguing with someone over their stay. Ignoring us. After telling us we could not stay until our rooms were ready have to come back plus could not have breakfast until check in time. . So we did . Still had to wait. Staff arguing with one Family member over who name was on the room. We had two rooms reserved for 2 days. Asked for shower cap was told we had to call for one and it would be Going to elevator while on we got stuck twice would not let us on our floor so some got off and others walk up stairs. Could not carry luggage. Up. Smell moldy in hallway. Got in room needed ice went up and down hallways no ice on floor staff person said while cleaning up rooms he was the only one there. HAD to go to first floor no other ice machine in the building. Of course did not want to go back in the elevator but could not walk up the stairs due to knee surgery. Left hotel to visit family for the day. Came back and went to the room. Refrigerator had cut off and everything in it was warm. Had to get up to visit Father early for church. Went down for breakfast Round 9. Hardly any food left no cream cheese for bagels. No meat just eggs and gravy for biscuits . Milk machine down so had gallon milk and two carten of chocolate milk. Apple juice water. A couple of bagels and bread no pastries. Asked if they were putting any more eggs and gravy (sausage crumbles) said everything is going to shut down in 1/2 hour so they were not putting anything else out. Several people encluding soccer team was there and were hungry but still said no and pointed to time. Two other staff people were clocking in and they had gone to McDonald's and bought the staff member there breakfast and as they were eating no one cared about the people there wanting breakfast. Instead they started cleaning up and locking up the juice milk and turning off the waffle maker and putting up the bread hot and cold cereal. Poor management no one smiled or anything intead seemed angry they had to work. One soap one lotion shampoo. We were two adults and the other room the same The morning we were leaving a new person at the front desk was pleasant and apologized for bad service over the weekend. They had cheese omelette and sausage links biscuits bagels toast and so much better. Even cut up fruit in individual containers but we had made reservations to go to the original pancake house across the street to enjoy a good breakfast and be done with the hotel stay. We will no not be back . All of the closed hotel an building in area maybe this one should also until staff and management is better. Out ot Towner's ☹️

Edit: Was contacted by their general manager about the below. They said that they were simply trying to offer me an upgrade, which is a straight up lie. They will book your room to other people and notify you as you arrive. Do not do business with this hotel, do not do business with this franchise. GO ELSEWHERE! Booked a 2 bed room for a group several weeks in advance for a concert. Was called minutes before arrival asking me to change my room to a single bed. I did not agree to this, and yet was given a key to a 1 bed room. Went back to tell them we couldn't accept this, and was told my actual room wasnt cleaned yet. Told them I'd grab dinner and come back. Staff agreed the 2 bed room should be available at that time. As we're headed to our taxi, said manager comes yelling at the door to catch me before I leave. She then reiterates the same same 1 bed room offer like it hadnt been two times prior, one of which was a voicemail from this same person. Upon returning from dinner about an hour later, all staff that assisted me had left save for one. The manager at that time was on the phone with someone else, but peeked in to the remaining staff to answer any questions. Once free, he said "I don't understand why this is a problem? He booked a two bed room. Theres one, book him there." After this, was given my keys in silence and the rest of the time met my expectations. If you're craving something more reliable, try any of the hotels right next door to this Hampton Inn.

The room wasn't ready and no soap in room except for face soap . When ask for soap they said that was the only soap they had. Seldom anyone at the counter. No one ever came and made the bed, empty trash, made sure there was paper products or towels. We could of stayed in a cheaper place but wanted something a little nicer since we haven't traveled in awhile and that didnt happen.would never stay there again or recommend it

Staff was very friendly, Our room was clean & spacious. Barb in the breakfast area was incredible! Great hot breakfast! Barb gave us things to do in the area and made sure we were taken care of. She even sent fruit for the kids to take along.

Pretty decent experience overall. Rooms were clean. Ours had some rust in the shower and a missing towel hook. Pool room had some construction going on. Friendly staff and otherwise well kept property. Good breakfast spread included. I would stay there again.

Staff was cool and friendly. The room I had was well designed, comfortable and included a microwave and mini fridge. The hotel itself is a little worn and the elevator needs some work, but they were remodeling the pool during my stay so updates are happening. My main critique is that the fitness room is lacking and I would recommend squeezing a cable cross machine in there. Otherwise it's a couple of treadmills and a dumbbell rack. Other complaints are minor cosmetic details that not everyone will even notice. I favor Hampton Inns during work travel for the breakfast they serve and this place was no exception. The offerings vary a bit each day but usually consists of eggs, waffles and sausage. It's extremely convenient for me since I'm typically short on time. I'd be happy to stay here again.
