This was my first time here. The room was nice and clean. The bed was super comfy. I heard chatter in rooms walking down the hallway but couldn't in my room. Nice and quiet! And the pool and hot tub are great. Coffee is yummy. HERE'S THE BUT... 😠 Every door I passed to get to my room has a plaque that says Non-Smoking but the hallways reeked of fresh cigarette smoke and an occasional pot. I saw the website said they provide smoking and non-smoking rooms but the hallway stunk so bad! Smokers must wanted to pay $100 deposit to smoke in them. Thankfully my room didn't smell like an ashtray but I'm allergic to cigarette smoke and it was hard to breathe in the hallway to and from my room. You should KEEP NON-SMOKING SMOKE-FREE. I won't be back.

Got threatened by another individual I thought was staying here and when I brought it to the front desks attention, they pretty much blamed me. I would have been understanding of that being as staff had approached my significant other to assist them with getting rid of other parties they didn't want here for making threats against their own staff. She basically said not to let him in...which I didn't in the first place. I'm sure I'm not the only lone female here. If you are and you read this make extra sure you watch who you talk to. My only goal is to make sure the same doesn't happen to anyone else. The world needs trusting people and we need to protect each other. I tried to reach out in email, but it's got so much ads that I wasn't able to. Just kept bouncing back to Google search.

All I can say it was excellent! My wife and I have stayed here five times before and we just stayed here last week and once again excellent service. Our room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is in a very nice quiet area of Burnsville and is ten minutes from the Mall of America and Valleyfair. There is an lady named Kim who has been there a long time and always remembers us when we come up and we always stop and say hi to her. She is very nice. If you need a place that is reasonable to stay, I highly recommend this motel. If we go back up there next year we'll definitely be staying there. Thank you very much Prime Rate Inn for a wonderful stay.

If I could put a negative rating on this place I would. 1. Absolutely nothing like the pictures. 2. Marijuana smelled in the whole hallway, gameroom was 2steps up. Not a room, and two games that were out of order. I had a smoking room so expected some burn marks but they were excessive. 3. Grandson went to pool said it was good till a group came in disregarding rules. He went to hot tub which had been pooped in. 4. The group outside that kept growing and the amount of beer bottles on the picnic table and showed no sign of slowing down. 5. The beds which felt like plywood, notice at all and the cut out burnholes in comfort or. 6. The uncomfortable and unsafe feeling I got. 6. I could not stay there with my Grayson. Apologized, explained everything tand was told it was cuz I got a smoking room. Well I don't feel I deserve dirty towels. A dresser the drawers fall right out of or to be afraid to look under the comfort because I smoke. I believe I should be comfortable and feel safe where I stay. Grandson called a liarabout the hot tub. Was offered a new room but that would not change the feeling. The woman refused to listen. This place is at least a step below a homeless shelter. They are refusing to refund any of my money back . Lucky I found a room within 5 mile of that area and it was cleaner, quiet, a actual breakfast and nice pool. So out $100 which I will fight for and am requesting all booking sites to remove them from recommended hotels.

Room had over powering smell of plug in, as if to cover up an odor. Mold in shower head. Tiny room, barely enough room to walk between bed and wall. NO coffee in room. People yelling at 3am. OH, and our free continental breakfast was oatmeal creme pies. At least they were name brand. "Little Debbie".

I live behind the hotel and there is always some kind of loud noises coming from the parking lot. I mean louder than a construction zone. Sometimes until 2am or 3 in the morning.

Not bad just to sleep and rest for 1 night. They also have free breakfast like muffins, cookies , coffee &, hot chocolate.Easy to locate and free parking. The price is just right.

I killed 6 roaches during my 12 hour stay, who knows how many more there were that I didn’t see. The bed sheet and chair had burn marks on them. The walls were so thin. My neighbors were playing music and partying until 4 AM keeping me and my baby up all night. The wall had huge gashes and paint peeling on it. I normally don’t complain but this was the worst hotel stay I have ever had.

The rooms are pretty good-sized. the bathrooms are tiny. My friend has been staying there for a year-and-a-half. The front desk staff is really nice. And I love going to see her and sitting in that Jacuzzi 😊

I stay here regularly for the past 5 years. I'm looking at reviews mentioning roaches etc. These must have came from a recent guest as I've never once seen anything of the sort. The sheets are always clean, the fridges always work, some of the furniture yes needed upgrading, but the rooms have slowly been upgraded. New curtains, bedding, (no poo in the hot tub). There was one a couple in the room next to mine that tried to get into my room when i went downstairs, but they were promptly removed from the hotel. This can happen in any motel/hotel, and the fact that it was immediately addressed was a good feeling knowing they care about the safety of guests.

Very nice hotel & stay. The staff was great, friendly & resourceful. The pool area was nice & clean. The rooms are very well loved on but smell amazing. They are clean & spacious. Larger fridge & freezer than normal. It was an easy on & off freeway with a variety of multiple options within walking distance for food & a gas station. The breakfast was two prepackaged snack cakes, but they had coffee & hot chocolate available all day which was nice. We will be back for future stays.

Nice clean rooms. We had a 55in TV, (don't know if that is in all rooms) half size fridge, so separate freezer, separate fridge, which was cool. Convenient distance to Mall of America. Bigger size hot tub and decent size pool. All over clean.

The pool was a little chilly but at least they have one. Hot tub was a nice amenity. The room had a larger TV then most higher priced hotels and the beds were just as comfortable as any motel 6. Hard floor in my room was clean bed bug free. I've paid higher and received alot less many other times. We will be back

The rooms have a smell to them I think due to the other smoking rooms. It is a nice hotel and the front staff was extremely nice. The pool area is kind of small, but adequate. For the coat, I would definitely stay again.

These people epitomize client service. The rooms I stayed in were very nice sized with a very big TV. The linens are typical of hotels, and housekeeping was diligent and friendly. On top of all of this, the price was exceptionally fair. I would have no problem staying at this hotel even if it meant having to travel further.

An amazing hotel... Nice pool, clean, no bugs, wonderful beds, big TV's with all cable channels, and a staff that goes above and beyond. Thank you.

manager was awesome, very kind and respectful, the white old lady at the desk on the other hand was outstandingly rude to my Fiancé! Called us nuisances.. and said we were begging for money when we were gone almost everyday at work.. she tried to say we were banned but once she called the manager to confirm he said “i dont care if they have a room there” We have never bothered this woman..

Convenient location, right of the highway. Older building, can use some updates and touch ups. It is clean - enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Vending machines available w cash only. Was disappointed that the breakfast was only packaged donuts. But coffee and hot chocolate were available all day. Satellite TV in the rooms with plenty of channel options. Two levels - no elevator though. Has an ATM and ice machine.

Great service , great room, great rates. I have been here 3 days so far and it has been great until today. The people behind the desk have been great! Until tonight. New person I haven not seen before. Very rude, Very unprofessional. She ignored my twice when I asked her name! Finally I had to knock on the window for her to acknowledge me! Kim is all she said as she turned around and continued what ever it was she was doing.

My family had a very horrible stay. Our room smelled like must/mildew and the air conditioner was not working correctly. We asked to be moved to a different room and was told the hotel was 100% booked. The individual working the desk came to our room, with a bottle of air freshener (which makes me think he knew this room had issues) and proceeded to spray a massive amount of the freshener into the air conditioning unit. He made sure to reassure us that the filter was clean and that that should take care of the smell, which it did not, it only made the room smell worse. The carpet by the air conditioner was wet, there was mildew around the shower, the bathroom door was broken/falling apart. If we did not have other family that was staying there we would have packed up and left. The only reason I am giving 1 star is that the other 2 rooms my family was in did not smell so terrible.

Charged my card for 3 nights, we have a service dog and got denied and was told we couldn’t stay here because we had a service dog, never got my refund on my money. Horrible customer service, workers are not friendly, pay more and go somewhere else.

Late night ball game. Don't like to drive at night. Easy to get to and very low price. Perfect for a quick night sleep. Drive home next day. Denny's restaurant two blocks away.

I like it because it's cheap, modest but comfortable. I haven't looked closely but I think they have an indoor pool. The very friendly staff the only thing is that they need a couple more pillows, but they told me that if you needed more pillows I could only ask for them and they would give them to me, the first time I went I didn't like it My husband and I stayed in the rooms that are on the main floor and they said that there was no smoking, which my husband accepted, there was no problem, but when it came time to leave, they said That we had violated the requirements of the hotel because we had smoked inside it, which was not true, but We returned again and now we stay in the rooms on the second floor and there you can smoke, which my husband was delighted with our first experience staying in that place It was not very nice but this last one everything got better and it was fantastic

Honestly one of the worst experiences I've had in a hotel, motel or road side truck stop. Floors are covered in mystery fluids or other. The hot tub and pool were slimey. Told we were upgraded only to find out we were put directly beside the laundry room and lucky us it is laundry night? No chance I will ever stay here again. Awful.
