I expected so much more from Maria Tash as I was so excited for them to open here in Dubai and after giving them FIVE chances and reaching out over social media, I regretfully have to leave a review. You would think maybe once or twice they might be having a bad day but each time I visited the store I received the same outcome. I have been working within the Fashion retail industry for 13+ years and there truly is no excuse for this. The staff are deadpan, rude and completely unhelpful. You have to approach them for assistance and when you do, you’re made to feel like you’re an inconvenience and rude for interrupting their day. In my numerous attempts I’ve hastily tried to spend my money & each time felt so horrible I had to leave. My partner ended up gifting me a voucher and even he received the same treatment. I did notice however that staff immediately gravitated towards locals and fawned over them... so draw your own conclusion there. I received one piercing (from amber who was amazing) but afterwards, wasn’t given anything by the floor staff on departure; no bag, no box that my earring came in, no aftercare instructions, no goodbye or thank you at the very least. I have money to spend with my gift card & have to get an earring shortened and I’m actually dreading going back...

I love the piercers (they are lovely and professionals). I have multiples pieces of jewellery that I like and are still in excellent condition even after a couple of years. However, the 'stylists' are arrogant and rude. It feels like you bother them. I've experienced this multiple times. That's a shame; I am always going there with the idea of purchasing something. But every time the staff is so unfriendly that I leave without buying anything, frustrated from the service I received.

The girls on the front are extremely standoffish. I don't think they actually want to sell you anything. I struggled away asking for help/advice while two of them flocked around another woman. Other employees came to the counter but completely ignored me. They offered no suggestions and seem to try to use as few words as possible to communicate with me then turned around. I was thinking about a piercing and actually went in to look for a tongue bar and earrings. I went to Dubai Mall specifically for this store. I left with nothing. I can't even describe their attitude. It wasn't directly rude. Did my gym gear mean I wasn't worthy of Maria Tash jewelry? This Dubai branch makes you feel unwelcome and that they would prefer you take your money elsewhere. Their phone manner is also rude. I have since read the reviews and know you are aware of this so no need to respond with your email. I cannot understand why you would have this kind of customer service. Maria Tash is not for me. They quite clearly feel the same!

Top notch quality and service. Only place in Dubai that does this as far as I know - sells amazing quality jewelry, super cool designs and piercing service. The price of the lightening bolt single earring (rose gold and diamond) plus piercing and antiseptic spray cost AED 1,400. The piercing process was super professional and clean, the rooms look like a doctor’s clinic. They sanitize all the equipment and it was relatively pain free. You have to take an appointment - book in advance! Gave it a 4 rating because despite booking an appointment, we only went in 45 mins after the appointment time. The store was suuuuuuuper busy on a Saturday afternoon.

Been visiting the shop for first time today ....staff very rude, kept laughing .... felt like we were bothering them ...! Guess will give our business elsewhere.

Wow what an amazing experience! I was scared to go in at first because of the reviews of ladies being rude and unwelcoming but that was not my experience AT ALL. I forget the name of the lady that helped me look around, she was awesome and so helpful. Smiling the whole time and really patient as it took me forever to decide. Christina pierced my ear and honestly I was laughing throughout the process. She’s so cool and sweet. I can’t believe something I’ve been dreading forever was so nice and dare I say pleasant! Prices are not insane at all. I am very happy and can’t wait to complete my ear art. I wish I did the 3 that I wanted but I was scared. I really shouldn’t have been. I will definitely be back again and again. Thank you for everything 🙏🏻❤️

I just came from the Dubai Mall branch and Amy, Danielle and one of the ladies who pierces with the ginger hair I didn't catch her name were INCREDIBLE Amy has always and continues to offer AMAZING customer service and is SUCH an asset to the team. Danielle was beyond friendly and super sweet and just really good at what she does! And the piercing lady was super patient with me and again really helpful. Amazing staff who go out their way. Amy when she realised I had a voucher but non of the things I wanted were in stock went out her way to make a plan to help in 2 seconds flat. BRILLIANT customer service. Even friends who went in to buy vouchers all commented and remembered Amy by name for how nice and helpful she was! When your spending money like that you really want good service. In past experiences there was a gentleman manager who also was beyond helpful and went out his way to do everything he could to fix an issue I had. Marie Tash really knows how to pick amazing staff!

I got my piercing done two yeas ago and I loved every second of it.The store is super luxurious und they offer a lot of beautiful piercings. I felt very welcomed and the staff was super lovely. But I have to say that the quality of the piercings is definitely insufficient. My diamond star piercing broke and the same happened to two of my friends. I am usually very careful with my jewelry, so I think this wasn't avoidable. I think that the piercings are just too expensive for this to happen. This is why I wouldn't recommend getting a piercing from Maria Tash - or at least I wouldn't get a big diamond...

I swear it was the worst experience.. I will not talk about prices or jewelry. I am talking about piercings, although I was interested in all instructions and cleaning, and I went to check up for piercings in maria tash. They did nothing only saying clean the area and their manners were bad.. I had to go to a dermatologist, he discovered that it was infected and I had to take antibiotics

The Sales Assistants at the Dubai Mall branch are a bit rude and tend to ignore you for long periods of time if they don’t see you as worthy of their attention. For example, other people walked into the store after I did and they were attended to first. It’s a bit irritating to see such a poor level of customer service, especially since I’ve spent a fortune on Maria Tash jewelry in the past. However, my experience with Maria Tash at MOE has always been good and I respect the brand despite the rude SAs at Dubai Mall, which is why this 1 star rating is just limited to the DM branch. Also, judging by a considerable amount of other reviews, it’s evident that a lot of people have similar sentiments about the stylists at this store. Why is this not an issue that is being addressed? SAs downright discriminate against certain customers and from my recent experience at this store, nothing is being done to stop this as it is still an ongoing thing.

Wonderful service from the ladies at Maria Tash Dubai Mall. The ladies took their time to show me a selection of jewellery for the piercings that I was considering at and helped me pick a set that complimented each other and my existing jewellery. The piercing service itself was super clean and professional. Again the lovely lady who pierced by ears took her time to ensure the placement was correct (even for future jewellery) and also to explain the aftercare. I felt at ease the entire time. Thank you once again.

This is my 2nd time getting a piercing here. I so appreciate the sanitization process. This is what makes me come back each time. The jewelery selection is okay, there is a lack in more minimal style. Staff in the show room are nice but I feel sometimes they rush things. However, piercers in both occasions were extremely nice. Natalie did my piercing this time she was beyond amazing made me feel so comfortable and answered all my questions walked me through everything.

Highway robbery and waste of time. I booked an appointment for a piercing and was told the cheapest earring was 500AED. I asked if I could go buy and earring to use and come back and was told yes. I took a 30 minute return journey walk in Dubai mall to find a pair came back for my piercing and was told “sorry, you can only use OUR jewellery”. I’m not sure how you think it’s ok to charge someone 140AED for a piercing on top of at least 500AED for ONE earring. In addition to that, I’ve just spent 100AED on a surgical steel earring I can’t even use cause you wouldn’t pierce my ear. Won’t be returning and defiantly won’t be recommending. I’m not sure what economy you guys are living in but the rest of us are in a global crisis.. you should be grateful to collect your over priced cost for a piercing, not turning customers away because you can’t force me to shell out more money

I have been going to Maria Tash ever since it opened in Dubai Mall and have had many piercings. I do appreciate the level of cleanliness and pickiness when it comes to piercings; however, for some reason, I don’t feel like going anymore as the sales staff have a big attitude problem and it kinda creates a negative experience. If i’m going to buy Jewellry and get my ears pierced, it’s supposed to be a fun experience and somehow it ends up being the worst. Also, i’m not sure if this part of your sales process, but every time i ask to see an earring they barely show it and then immediately return It to the drawer as if i was going to steel the earring or put it in my mouth and run away with it lol. You might want to revisit your customer experience when so many people are complaining. Maria Tash has been here for approx 1.5 yrs and nothing has changed :) Competition is rising and there are other places that leave you with a much positive and smoother experience.

Their jewellery is really nice... but be prepared for them to fall out. My conch piercing jewellery fell out for the second time..I was very lucky to find it the first time... I have no hope to find the second time... its such a waste of money... there are much BETTER and cheaper options than these guys... their customer service is atrocious.. if u "look" a certain way they will give u attention otherwise they don't even bother.

They have many and lovely opinions for ear piercings and Noor does a really great job as a piercer, I didn’t feel anything.

So booked in for a styling & piercing session, turned out I couldn’t get a piercing since I’m breastfeeding. Some stylists looked after me but kept handing over to another person and frankly they were a bit rude and it was getting quite frustrating, finally katrina helped me (she isn’t a stylist she takes care of piercings) but she was super patient, made sure I was pleased with the final styling and created a look for me that I’m really happy with. Thank you Katrina for turning my Maria tash experience upside down.

My wife has bought some piercings in their flag-store in Rome, so I was a bit disappointed this time in Dubai since we asked about three different piercings and they were running out of stock, since they only have one. It’s not a problem but I guessed there wasn’t shortages in a store like this in Dubai. In addition, the guy who talked was a bit rude but the other girls were really helpful and kind. Despite that, Maria Tash is a must if you’re a piercing lover.

I am not sure if you guys have changed the team within a year but Used to be better service, more hygiene and better attitude.

I always have the best experience at Maria Tash in Dubai Mall. I have had so many piercings and purchased so many pieces here. Samatha is the fabulous stylist. She is so patient and has helped me curate my ear from single lobes to 10 piercings (and still going). I always go back to her because she understands the look I'm going for. She has such a great eye for the placement of piercings and the best pieces for an individual look. I couldn't recommend her services enough!!

Ear piercing and design.....staff are wonderful. So easy to talk to and helpful and so reassuring when you get the piercing and really help yiu stay calm. The hygiene levels are excellent ,(which in todays pandemic are so so important) Downside is Make sure when you come to bring your credit cards....this place is not cheap. Everything is diamond but I believe over priced. You can definitely pay less for real diamond elsewhere. However, did I pay for it ...... yes. Would I do it again.....most definitely. Totally amazing experience at Maria Tash. I was super nervous (this being my first piercings) but Maria Tash came highly recommend by friends and they didn't disappoint! I was lucky enough to have Lynn do my piercing, she was kind, professional, calming and frankly a saint for dealing with my nerves! The whole process was so smooth, I left feeling confident I understood my after care instructions and really welcome to come back if there were any issues. As it turns out the piercings have been perfect, no pain, no swelling no nothing so I have just been able to enjoy them. I was so impressed I will be heading back for a second piercing soon with Lynn! This is a really luxurious piercing place with a very clean and hygienic area to get pierced. I was taken care by very lovely Noor in Dubai Mall and the guys told me how to look after the piercing when I am back home and gave me a bottle of wound wash. They sterilized the earring and showed me how they did. They have a very neat systematic procedure which gives a big relief. I am totally recommending this place but do not forget as the place is “luxurious” as it states the jewellery is expensive (they do not accept jewellery from outside as it is understandable considering hygiene procedures) and be prepared to pay “some” for a new piercing. Most of the jewellery is either gold plated or have diamonds on them. The most exciting part is they do not only pierce you but also give consultation regarding the best places on your ear/nose whatever that will look the best. So you do not walk by and asked to be pierced somewhere that can look tacky but get consulted before so you are perfectly pierced in the perfect places.

Very Professional & all covid protocols followed including sterilization. The staff giuded, advised and cleared all doubts at no point pressurising for any purchase. Great shopping experience
