I saw more beautiful than that. Downstairs they combined history with some personalities not really from history...as if they ruined the magic. The stuffed animals in the basement were arranged in a big way...I didn't understand much. They kind of want to show you that they have a lot, but the way they displayed it leaves something to be desired. It didn't impress me.

(Translated by Google) Very instructive, it briefly presents the local history and importance of the city over the years. (Original) Foarte instructiv, prezinta pe scurt istoria locala si importanta orașului de-a lungul anilor.

(Translated by Google) A very well arranged museum. It's worth visiting. It presents pieces of history of the Muscel region and beyond. You can also see some drawings by well-known painters, such as Corneliu Baba. Adult price 5 lei, for students 3 lei. At such a price, it's a shame not to go out of your way (as a tourist)... (Original) Un muzeu foarte bine amenajat.

Historical, literary and artistic and even mineralo-faunistic artefacts regarding the area of Muscel are collected in a single building. Highly recommend.

Interesting. Luckily I knew a little history of the place. Otherwise, where to guide? So much can the head of the community for the history of the locality. Otherwise, the beautiful building left over from the predecessors. Currently poorly maintained for a locality that is considered the county capital! Fortunately, history does not take into account temporary leaders!

The last on the list of sights to visit in Campulung was the Museum of History...beautiful building and interior, entrance fee 6 lei...we were the only visitors...we were told the route from the entrance and we could visit in peace. ..ground floor, first floor and in the basement exhibits of flora and fauna...the latter, a bit scary, but overall a flirty, well-kept museum...perhaps a guided tour would have been more interesting...with more information... here I took fewer pictures because my phone battery ran out after the photos taken at the Jidova Roman Castle, the Romanian Automobile Museum and the Museum of Ethnography... plus some pictures taken of some interesting buildings in the city

    1) The Historical Museum is a very cool place to visit just across the town hall and next to ANAF 2) It fosters a chronological exhibition about the history of Romania and Câmpulung Muscel 3) The staff seem to be working, but they lack marketing knowledge. I suppose they're hired based on (pile) since this museum could be even in better condition and could host more events. 4) If you want to learn something interesting about the history of Câmpulung, you should see the museum.

(Translated by Google) I recommend. You can spend 1.5 hours in a pleasant and instructive way with the children. Adults can see what they remember from what they learned at school. Cute staff who guide you to see the museum in chronological order. In the basement exhibition of stuffed animals .Periodically there are also various thematic exhibitions of painting, photography or sculpture. (Original) Recomand.Puteti petrece 1,5 ore in mod placut si intructiv cu copiii.

Unfortunately, the experience seemed mediocre to me. I will argue: - QRs do not exist throughout the exhibition. There are no detailed explanations. I saw wrongly listed exhibits. The appearance of some elements is poor, it seems to be filled with what is possible and what was donated. - Old texts transcribed with an inappropriate font, which makes reading even more difficult in the part of Romanian history. - The basement, dedicated to natural history, like a small Antipa, is poorly lit, the showcases are crammed into each other, the exhibits are poorly plastered. Taxidermy is hard anyway, but certain exhibits become hilarious. - Instead, I found, at the entrance, a nice strong lady, so points for the staff. - Overall, 2 stars out of 5. Unfortunately, a place that lacks vision, artistic cohesion, style, message, information and money. The leaflets at the entrance, for example, were from 2011 and just received from the town hall, I did the tour in September 2023.

👍👍 I visited it last week. It was very quiet. It's been renovated recently and it looks wonderful even though there is no vegetation now. It is simple and perfect, a true architecture monument. If you are in Câmpulung , Negru Vodă is worth a visit.

👍👍 Interesting place with lots of old and some that are not that old romanian made cars. It offers a view into the past of the Romanian auto industry and all the potential that could have been. No entrance fee but donations are encouraged as this is a private run place.
