We came here for a short 3 day trip as we wanted to visit Valea Zânelor. The owners were very welcoming (and answered all our questions even before our arrival). Upon arrival the owner welcomed us and suggested more places for us to visit. We started the stay with an outdoor grill session although it was -7 degrees (we did not feel it) the owner helped us with setting up fire (the best). On the second day we went as he suggested to see Cetatea Rupea (no regrets, it was beautiful) and Valea Zânelor, but Cetatea Rupea was much more beautiful. The room was warm (as we were there in January), clean and very cozy. He offered us the downstairs kitchen with sink, and fridge where we could do a tea, coffee etc. Would revisit and recommend anytime.

Booked a room online, but on arrival we were told there is no room for us. After reading online I read this happened to many other travellers before. Don’t book (online) here!

The host was great. I visited them in 2010 and we had great fun. Grill and great liquors!

Everything was perfect during my stay! To start with, the host Florin is a fantastic guy who helped me a lot to find the nice spots around and also shared a bit of the Romanian culture. Plus the room was very comfortable, large, with a nice bed and excellent shower. Plus the fact that is so close to Balea Lake and Waterfall, in a village right at the famous road. I strongly recommend this place!
