This was honestly the prettiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The design of the hotel and overall aesthetic is just jaw dropping. Even at night the resort is lit up by these lanterns and it is so romantic! I feel like every restaurant we went to had a breathtaking view of the ocean too! And this was one of the first resorts where the butler was super attentive checking on us every day and making arrangements for private dinners, it made us feel so welcome like we had a friend on property. Also, the spa is what dreams are made of!

We recently stayed at Esperanza for 6 nights in an ocean-view room for our anniversary. I’m not sure how anyone could write a negative review about anything at this resort. Every single thing at this place is 5 star. The room was incredible, the views and amenities are 5*, the customer service was perfect and the food was some of the best I’ve ever had at a resort. This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Book with confidence, this place is legit.

The Esperanza was great!!! The property,food,and location were great but what really stood out was the staff. The staff really went out of the way to make sure your stay was excellent. They were very friendly and helpful and I don't recall having a staff treat me so well as they did at the Esperanza. I would definitely go back.

We have been to Esperanza before and have found it to be a beautiful place to stay. This time our stay involved exposure to either food or water that was bad. Almost all of us ended up getting sick with my son requiring a hospital stay for 2 days. The support we received while we were there was terrific but the trip was spent overseeing my son's care for a majority of the stay. I don't think this happens often, but it can happen.

We just got back from a fabulous stay at Esperanza. It was a perfect getaway--beautiful setting, gorgeous views, amazing food and outstanding service! We can't wait to go back!

Amazing views of the arches from our balcony! We had a 2 bedroom suite that was nicer then any 5 STAR hotel or resort we could have stayed in. Beautiful villa with private chef, grill, wet bar, and jacuzzi on the huge outdoor deck! Had an amazing time! We’ll definitely be returning next year

One of most wonderful places I have yet to be. 2nd time there in 3 years.. Incredible staff, exceptional service, over the top rooms with great views, attention to details and personal butler, incredible experience. Awesome beach, infinity pool and additional pools for families, Cocina Del Mar restaurant is absolutely amazing. Not one thing went wrong. I Am 100% coming back. I cannot recommend this resort enough. It is the most amazing place, like paradise on earth. I’ve never been more relaxed or felt more pampered. The restaurants and drinks are amazing and staff is so friendly and accommodating.

I had initially booked a mini getaway at the Parados Todos Santos resort, which is akin to a sanctuary but at the very last minute decided to change my accommodation to the Auberge Esperanza. While Todos Santos would have been a unique experience, if the goal of your trip to Cabos is to simply unplug and relax, you hit the jackpot. From the moment you check in until the last moment, you will be taken care of and pampered like royalty. Aside from the aesthetic appeal of the resort, nestled in a rocky outcrop that juts into the Pacific, they have mastered the art of luxury service. I stayed in one of the ocean view casitas, a spacious room with an airy balcony and hot tub overlooking the main adults only pool and ocean beyond. Héctor Lopez was our personal concierge attendant and he did a phenomenal job taking care of all reservations and planning excursions, all while him and his team were balancing multiple weddings on the premises that weekend. If you are an Amex Platinum Card member, book it through them. There was some on site construction going while some renovation work was underway but that’s just inevitable and still didn’t detract from the calming sound of crashing waves as you sleep through the night and wake up to a framed vista of an endless blue. Their spa is a must. Cocina Del Mar is the most popular and scenic restaurant on grounds. La Palapa was also good and so was Las Estrellas (tucked away in the gardens). They also provide transport to and from Toro, my personal favorite of all the restaurants. It’s not managed by the property yet is so close to the resort, you might as well consider it a part of it. Three to four nights are perfect for this kind of getaway. Also, Héctor was kind enough to share that February is the best month for all you avid whale watchers.

You cannot beat the views, service, food, or experience of this resort. Utterly incredible. Javier is the most fantastic villa host I've ever had.

Just returned from a week at The Villas at Esperanza through Exclusive Resorts and had a fabulous trip! The accommodations, dining, ocean views and service were spectacular! Our concierge Manuel Tamayo was attentive to our every need and always with a smile! From our greeting to making dinner reservations And letting us know about the special events at the property each day/night, as well as shopping and local attractions. It was truly a magical experience! Our daily maid service was lively and Valerie even surprised us with a vase of flowers she arranged from the beautiful flowers outside - so thoughtful!!! Will definitely go back. Thank you all for such a wonderful vacation!

This review is for Cocina Del Mar Esperanza Restaurant! Service: Our waiter was Pablo! Lovely gentleman. Very knowledgeable of the menu and was professional and attentive. Location: This was about a 20 minute drive from our resort which was Viceroy. It’s also about 2 - 5 minutes away from Rosa Negra. Located just by the sea with high terrain views and a nice cool breeze. They offered a blanket upon request if it gets chilly which was clean and cozy. Ambiance: Gorgeous, Romantic, Calming. The architecture, decor and lighting sets the perfect mood for a wonderful dinner and night out. Meal: The meal was delicious. My favorite was the Tres Leches. Best I’ve ever had. I also enjoyed the chicken with mashed potatoes. It was juicy and tasty. The property of which this restaurant is located is huge, dreamy and feels like something from a movie. High recommended!

Got a beachfront view from the room. Service was damn near perfect!! They tell you 24 hour text concierge service, I found that I wasn't getting responses Monday I was there. The front desk wasn't opened until the afternoon. I was still able to ask anyone, so many staff everywhere, any questions and they quickly fixed any issues that arose. I can't recommend this place enough!!!

Truly in a class of its own, with every detail taken care of, and memories that will last a lifetime. You can't start without raving about service. For one, you get a personal concierge (Cuate aka your buddy), who is available at anytime with just a quick text, whatsapp message or call. Talk about 5+ star service! Rooms: Modern, large and stunning...go for one with its own pool! Food: Everything is delicious and I implore you to try it all (and go to COMAL as well!) Pools: Never have I ever seen such amazing and infinite, infinity pools! Everyone of them has their own style, vibe and amazing location/views...be sure to take a dip in them all. On top of that anytime you leave your room, you come back to everything immaculately clean (and organized), with incredible amenities left for your enjoyment (and each one better than the last!). You would swore there is magic in the air at Esperanza...and don't forget to check out their sister property next door for even more amazing-ness! I could go on, but instead I am just going to go back! There was too much to do and see for a single trip.

My stay at the Golden Star Hotel was simply exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with unparalleled warmth and kindness by the staff. The hotel facilities are dazzling, from the impressive lobby to the elegant rooms that offer a spectacular view.

Wow! This is an amazing resort! We just spent four nights here and I really cannot express how amazing this place is. You will pay a lot for it, but it is worth it. I recommend you get a junior suite oceanfront room with a spa. You will literally be right on the beach and when you shower you can open the windows for an amazing experience. The food was fantastic! Wednesday night is a taco bar with fireworks. Cocina Del Mar has great food and I recommend the Blue Fin Tuna appetizer and any of the fish main courses. I would stay away from the pasta. Service was also as good as any luxury property I have stayed at. Hector our concierge was a big help in procuring a car for trips to the city and for moving our reservations. I was also impressed that they are undergoing a renovation, but you never saw or heard any of the construction. And because the spa was closed, they did our massages in our room which was awesome! There were a couple things that I should call out as not being great. We did lose power several times during the trip, but it didn’t negatively impact us except that WiFi was down for two days and we couldn’t FaceTime with our kids. Not a big deal, but could be for some people especially if you are working during your trip. I also recommend that you stick with the Infiniti pools that are on the south side of the property. That two level, adults only pool was quieter and had a better view. The other pools had an odd group of people getting drunk and aggressively hitting on teenage girls. The guest who said he was the “King of Cabo” was particularly creepy and seemed very out of place. All in all, if you got the money and want to impress your loved one, go to Esperanza in Cabo. It is about as good as it gets!

The grounds and pools are exquisite. The service has been impeccable and the staff is so helpful and nice! This hotel definitely has all the qualities of a five-star resort. I will definitely be coming back to this place. It’s a perfect place to relax. Rooms are freshly remodeled and very cozy.

I have stayed this place before and I was writing reviews for my current place so decided to write one for this amazing result. Okay this place is extremely pricey, especially in Mexico. It’s more expensive than hotels in Bay Area in Yountville. But let me tell you.: it’s amazingly worth it. Beautiful ocean, relaxing, rooms, massages, I feel like I’m at another world. My stress all went away. Spas are Heaven. Once I visit Mexico, I would love to revisit this place once more! Thanks again for amazing servicesand mementos when I stayed here.

The whole trip was absolutely breathtaking! If you’re ever looking for an amazing destination, Esperanza in Cabo San Lucas is what dreams are made of! Out of all the places we’ve been this has been THE BEST hands down. The staff goes above and beyond, with a designated butler that was appointed to help us with anything that was needed during our stay, they put ramps throughout for my son who is in a wheelchair, blended all his food to be sure he could enjoy the delicious athletic Mexican food, and brought any items we needed to our room so we didn’t have to leave. They even arranged a Spa Day for us all to enjoy! Needless to say, most places are not this handicap friendly and this was the fist place that My son was able to go into an actual spa. From the Koi fish, to the breathtaking views from our room and crabs on the beach this place is absolutely stunning! Thank you to Bruce (concierge) for making the trip to Chileano Los Cabos, an unforgettable one! To Daniel, Daniela, Marquito and the Manager David at Chileano for your amazing service and attention to detail to make sure my family and I had an unforgettable experience. Thank you to Monica in for the activities of snorkeling and kayaking. Simply AMAZING! We hosted 100 people here for the week for our wedding and this is what true 5-star service means. The staff at Esperanza goes above and beyond from the 24/7 concierge to the event and wedding staff (Grissel and Emilio!). This is an extremely romantic high class destination that should be on everyone’s bucket list!

What a BEAUTIFUL place! And the service was top notch. The pools are pristine, with an amazing views of the ocean, whale sightings included, and never crowded! At times we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves.

This place is average at best. Had a 4 bedroom villa and it was in awful condition.

Take the chef Allan Gutierrez Ceviche class, its one of the best experiences. You will be be disappointed.

This resort is what a true 5-star resort should be. You have a personal concierge who can coordinate spa and activity bookings for you. The location is secluded, private, secure and beautiful. The property is beautiful. The view from the rooms and the restaurants is amazing. It’s almost a mile off the main road. The staff is super friendly and provides excellent service. Tip and tax was included in all transactions, including the transfer so it made things easy not having to worry about tipping. Booked through Amex travel which gave $35 breast for person for 2 ppl and $100 credit and late checkout which was a nice perk. The food at both restaurants is spectacular. I highly recommend, and hope to be back in the future.
