Totally love Club Cascadas. It us very family friendly - we have a 16 month old and they provided a pac n play, a high chair and barred up the balcony so our toddler won't wonder off the first floor. Everything is super clean, from the walkways and public areas, to the pools, the beach, all the way to our rooms. The pools each have a jacuzzi and serve both food and drinks (yes, also alcoholic to those of age ;) ). The staff is super friendly and always going out of their way to help you get whatever it is you need. The location is phenomenal! Since this is one of the 'older' and established membership resorts, it is located at the beach directly and has its own restaurant where you can even sit and eat on the beach. Of course they also have "lawn chairs" to lay and sunbathe right on the beach. It's only a few minutes drive away from Walmart or Costco, as well as the downtown area or the marina. I'd absolutely recommend going here!

DO NOT STAY HERE. We checked in on 8/1 for my friends 30th birthday. As you can imagine she was looking forward to a peaceful, fun get away with her friends and its been anything but that. When we checked in the front desk NEVER mentioned that we would have to leave our room 2 days later for someone else to stay in the room. We booked through Expedia and apparently there are a ton of discrepancies that happen all the time but no changes are being made between the hotel & Expedia. We later received an email from Expedia stating that our reservation will be honored so we decorated the room for our friend. On 8/2 when we returned back from a pool day we saw a note on our door stating that we need to check out by 11am on 8/3, my friends birthday meanwhile we have to leave the hotel in the morning for reservations off of the resort that we have. We went to the front desk to ask them what they would be doing to accommodate us for all the back and forth and having to take down all the decorations and move rooms again and this hotel is doing nothing.

Great weather during week 45 which is around the 2nd week of November. Beach Water is also perfect and enjoyable. Clean and impeccable grounds. I love pickle ball but not a fan of the two courts that are tightly placed smack in the middle of villas. Would recommend renting further away from the constant pinging of the ball while trying to enjoy the sunset evenings. Otherwise this place is wonderful and would highly recommend.

If you want a great place that is quiet and not to large, this is it. This is a smaller resort with one tennis court, 2 pools with swim up bars and plenty of palapas on the beach and a roped off swim area in the bay. Its an easy walk to downtown and to the marina. We stayed in a 2 bedroom and they are large. No worries about space, and fully equipped kitchens if you like to dine in. They have one restaurant on the beach. This resort is not corporate owned. You buy a week and its your specific week until you sell it,and there is real value meaning you won't loose your initial investment. When you rent a week, its the owners that put it in the rental pool. Thursday to Thursday is check in, check out. We loved it.

The restaurant made an error on my charge card and 2 months later have not fixed it. After talking to Juan he assurred me it would be fixed as he agreed it was a double bill for $500. Hugo the waiter also verified he had made an error.I would love to keep coming here and referring friends but I cannot. Dec 6 2021 my faith in Cascadas disappeared. The manager has contacted me and hopefully we can work out a refund in the near future.

In spite of construction CCDB rarely disappoints. All the facilities are kept up constantly, but it has a traditional old world vibe. If you want parties and wild times... go down the beach. If you want to take it down a notch and just relax in comfort. This is the place

I am an original owner of this “peace in paradise” timeshare. Two weeks per year a year are NEVER enough time to unwind, reconnect with friends, soak up the beauty and great food & drink

We will not be returning to Club Cascadas again. The week we just suffered through was incredibly awful, from start to finish. The myriad of issues are many, but the main issue is the sudden down turn in professionalism and the quality of the Cascadas property in general. We own properties at both Club Cascadas Cabo and at Ocho Cascadas in Puerto Vallarta. The management and caliber of guests at Ocho are heads above Cabo. We have owned two units at Cabo since they opened in '99. We have always enjoyed our stays. The Giddings company, in Cabo, is completely in the toilet now. We were treated to our unit being next to two separate complete renovations. Competing jackhammers and construction noise 7 days a week (Si, sabado y domingo, as well); from early morning to 6 p.m. Pounding, banging, machines, work crews hollering, and dust - so much concrete dust. We were never offered an alternate quiet unit or discounted fees, during the construction phase, nor had we been properly alerted to being surrounded by very close construction sites. It was an untenable din. We have had a smaller Perlita for sale for some months, now. We discovered why it wasn't "showing well." Our For Sale unit has been used as a smoke-break area for the construction crew and stuffed to the rafters with no less than 20 mattress. Our For Sale unit has been a storage unit for their massive renovations. Had we not gone down, we would have never known. This is totally unacceptable and we were very happy we hadn't brought down the rest of the family, as there was no room at our inn, so to speak. When we spoke to Felix about it, he appeared to be sympathetic. This, later, turned out to be completely false. I almost ended up in hospital, after nearly falling in a massive water spill from an overnight malfunctioning air conditioner. It had run down the wall, from the third floor, soaked one suitcase, the entire couch, the cow rug, ran into the main living room floor, then out to the pool. I came across this lake, with a cast on my leg already, in the dark. I was hurt in the near-fall, but it was minor. The new 'improvements' to our unit (which we've owned for 20+ years) have left it with no airflow, an incredibly stuffy and hot upper master bedroom and a big loss of the charm it once had. We are selling it all now. The caliber of guests and families has also taken a big nose-dive. Initial concerns , emailed to Alfredo, fell on deaf ears for a few days (all the while, we were treated to the heavy construction noise). Eventually, Felix showed up, fielded concerns and left. Not a danged thing was done. We weren't offered apologies, compensation, or an offer to move to a quieter unit. Once the concerns and complaints were lodged with Felix, the retaliatory vibe began. Our cleaning staff really started to phone it in: We didn't receive fresh sheets when our linens were changed, no more foot towels for the showers and pool, no garbage bin liner in the kitchen, dead roaches in downstairs bathroom, and no more loo roll for the main floor. We had to grab TP from downstairs. At checkout, there were charges on our bill that had been charged, erroneously, to our unit. We explained we didn't purchase the alcohol and wouldn't be paying for it. Rather than believing resident owners of 30+ years with the Giddings Cascadas properties, they chose to bicker about it - choosing to believe we were lying and trying to get one over on them. That was the cherry on our week from hell with Club Cascadas. We seriously doubt the Sales Team will be falling over themselves to sell our unit - it all ended on a very sour note. We loved, loved, loved Ocho and the Giddings' properties for years. This, sadly, is no longer the case...at all.

Amazing place. Will be back. Fabricio at the restaurant was super great (even though I kept calling him Francisco 🤦the first 10 minutes there) Seriously, overall great place, service, the swim up Sushi 🍣 bar is a must, walking distance to great restaurants and clubs.

We are here for the first time and are so impressed with all the employees. They are all so freindly and helpfull! Location is towards the end of town but still can walk to center of cabo. The rooms the pools, hot tubs, were cleaned and serviced everyday!! Very private very QUIET rooms on three levels. I WOULD DEFINATELY COME BACK!

Great units with private villas. Definitely not your typical hotel or vacation hotel and thats what gives Club Cascadas its charm. No Tv or phones in the rooms makes it feel like your in the old Cabo. 10 minute walk from the club and your in downtown cabo for the nightlife. Great swimming and water sports right out front. Been going to Club Cascadas since 1997 as a young child and now bring my family and kids to the Club.

Our favorite place for breakfast. Beautiful setting on the beach, turquoise tablecloths and shimmering ocean. Great food and service. Always a lovely experience

My wife and I went with a bunch of other people to their Friday night buffet and show on the beach. Beautiful, interesting dances and music. The buffet was good with a selection of Mexican dishes. The dessert was a little bit lacking basically donuts, churros, some custard and rice pudding.

Everything about Cascadas is peaceful. The staff is so polite and hard working, the restaurant has great food, the location is right on the beach. We are loving the updated rooms as well.

What use to be a gem is now a construction site. We spend the month of December at Cascadas. This year, 2023, loud, obnoxious, chemical odor and super dusty. Very sad! We invited friend to join us, we are very embarrassed that this will be their experience and they unit is right next to the noise and construction.

Usually 5 star but they were off this time. We live in Pescadero, was in town for Dr appointments. It was 11:10ish and we wanted lunch. Nope! only breakfast til 12, how ever told us we could get our order 15-20 min early. We ordered flautas, enchiladas, chile relleno. Had 2 drinks each while waiting and waiting and waiting. Our meal arrived at 12:10. Disappointed that we had to wait so long after being told otherwise.

Great location and pool. Walking distance to food and shops, and deliveries were easy. Tip: wear mosquito/bug spray if you’re outdoors in the evening!

I've been to this place 4 times now. It's one of my favorite resorts to stay at. Get one of the private villas! It's worth the cost. Absolutely love this place!!!

This place is on a smaller scale from the big resorts but the staff and architecture of this resort is immaculate. The food the views the rooms and you can have your own private pool in your room . You must spend a week and fall in love like I did!

Just came back from a group trip (23 of us), and Club Cascadas never disappoints! The first time we went there was 13 years ago and we keep going back. CC is such a great spot...can get from the pool to the ocean by walking a few feet! Food and service always top notch. We had 5 villas this time and all were in fun locations.

AWFUL.....I have been going to The Club since I was 7. My husband and I are finally able to make a wonderful purchase at this resort. The unit we decided was the Villa Luna week 28 second week in July every year! This unit has been for sale for 3 years! We put a deposit in cash and went forward with the purchase! Excited and finished celebrating with our family all week. Come to find out....Cascadas gives no support to the new buyers! The seller is refusing to now sell his unit. Stating he told the resort he suddenly didn't want his units for sale. The Club did not honor any contract we signed. Even though it claims that the seller has 5 days to make his decision. We are so upset. So hurt with this resort. That I grew up going to. They basically told us there is nothing they can do. And the contract is actually just a proposal. It means NOTHING! Watch out. Scams. So disappointed!
