Overall, the staff really cares about the people who are staying at this hotel- they are extremely attentive and always trying to make it a good stay for the guests. My complaint comes in the form of noise in that there was a different event in the courtyard by the museum every night- the last night going until at least 1:30 AM and vibrating our room. I know they make a lot of money from these big weddings / parties so they value them over the guests experience, but for that reason I cannot recommend staying at this hotel if you value your sleep regardless of the high quality customer service. Additionally, the room smelled like smoke and the AC did not control the temperature in the room so we had to call the front desk to change it (which seemed to only have 2 options - 16 degrees or 25 degrees, both of which posed their own problems).

The room and view were excellent, but the customer service was very problematic. First, we called the hotel and requested something before arrival which was not done. Second, we have waited for a long time to check in and every time we ask the front desk they’d say “two minutes”. They withdrew the full amount for our stay + hold on an extra night and told us it will be returned in two weeks as if it’s normal and refused to admit it was their mistake. After check in, AC was not working for an hour, communication was VERY bad. Multiple other inconveniences happened and we spoke to many people including Sherry, Zeinab, Mustafa, and Sayed and others with no solutions. They are too many employees with no help. Service is extremely disappointing and not deserving of the Ritz-Carlton name.

Does not meet standards of Ritz Carlton or the Marriott overall. I have been staying here weekly for around two months now for business. Generally, service at the restaurant and front desk is good, breakfast buffet selection is excellent. Bring your own earplugs - there are weddings half of the days of the week going on into early morning and the hotel does not stock earplugs. I have already had 3 issues with housekeeping (I have never had any such issues at any other Marriott hotel): 1. Accidentally knocked the housekeeping button in the evening. Housekeeping rang my bell 4 times at 2.30 AM asking to clean my room 2. During a meeting where I could easily be heard talking on the phone, housekeeping rang my bell persistently, causing disruptions to my meeting 3. I asked Housekeeping not to come for 2 days in a row, they did not come for a whole 4 days after.

Oh, where do I even begin? I've lost count of how many times I've visited this heavenly abode. Each time I come here, it feels like a new adventure. Solo trips, friends' escapades, family vacations, and even kids' playtime – this place has seen it all! The exterior design is captivating, and the services and facilities inside are just mind-blowing. Food & coffee options are top-notch, and the rooms are spacious and comfy. You know what? This hotel brand has my heart! The luxury is breathtaking, and the landscape and view rooms are just WOW. Safety is paramount, especially for kids, and the staff treats us like royalty. Polite, professional, and incredibly helpful – they never disappoint. No wish is too big; just ask, and they make it happen. The main restaurant is a gastronomic delight, offering a variety of authentic and high-quality dishes that leave you wanting more. And oh, the palatial feel of this hotel is awe-inspiring! Sparkling clean rooms and restrooms, and the staff's dedication to perfection make it even better. Can't get enough of their fantastic service; they make my stay comfortable and memorable. The location is perfect, and the pool's chilled vibe is a bonus. And the cherry on top? Suitable & enjoyable for both adults and kids to enjoy! I'm already planning my next visit – you should too! ❤️❤️❤️

My husband and I asked for a Nile view room upon our arrival and it was quickly checked and given to us 😊 the service was remarkable, we got a full tour of our room and had sweets and fruit placed in our room upon our arrival. The hospitality was unlike anything we ever experienced and we felt the staff was able to bring anything we needed and answer any questions we had rather quickly. The pool was well kept and the staff was very attentive. We will definitely be staying at the Ritz again when we come back to Cairo in the future 😊👍🏼

Before I stepped out of the car, a hotel staff members was directly in my face and I felt pushed against the car. Another staff proceeded to take my bags and start walking away without any explanation. I demanded my bags back and took them through the front door with me. Three different people continued harassing me before I got to my room arguing to take my bags after I said no multiple times. I was shocked and actually spent the night in an Airbnb because I didn't feel welcome at this hotel. They offered me a parting gift, but I refused since I don't want to remember this terrible experience. The view was basic and not impressive at all. My Airbnb I could see the pyramids. Will never recommend.

This property provides some of the best service I have ever had! Prime location with some incredible views from the 2nd and 13th floor of the Nile River. The staff is incredibly welcoming and warm. The rooms are updated and pristine. Multiple places in property to dine with a wide variety of food.

Some of the best service I’ve received at any hotel, and I have experienced great service all over the world. Every single staff member went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and cared for. Everyone at Vivo especially deserve mention, as do the fantastic housekeeping staff, and a big thanks to Tamer and the other concierge staff whose outstanding service helped me save money

All photo taken from our room's Balcony. Absolutely amazing experience. We stayed for our honeymoon and the experience is so wonderful that won't forget it. The whole team brought up a surprise after checked in. Prime location, 3 minutes to the Cairo historical museum. And the view from the room is breathtaking. Given I am platinum member, was upgraded to a nice suites. I will definitely come back and stay longer.

It is one of the best hotel in Cairo downtown area .its very close to historical area and lots of shops and restaurants . Staff is very friendly and accommodating and always available to help or to make your stay better. Very excellent morning breakfast buffet with multiple choices. I was upgraded to suit because of my Marriott status and it was very pleasant surprise. Rooms are spacious , clean , beautiful Nile River views. I really enjoyed the outdoor barbecue and musical night . I really enjoyed my stay in Ritz.

Although we were only able to stay here for one night, that was all it took to see and feel how wonderful this hotel is. Every minute here was exceptional, from check in, to late night in room dinning, to having breakfast at the buffet. Our room was spacious and clean with all of the features you'd expect from a 5 star hotel and had a beautiful view overlooking Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum. As an Egyptian American nothing makes me feel more proud of my country than coming here and seeing all of the beauty this country has to offer and The Ritz shows you luxury but the people here show you the true Egyptian way of hospitality. They genuinely care about you and want you to be happy here. They want to learn about you and accept you for who you are...what more could you ask for? A special thank you to Ashraf Hussein, Amira Magdy, and Sayed Farouk for making us feel right at home and so special even if only for one night. They welcomed us with open arms, got to know my mother and I and went above and beyond to treat us like family. We felt like we've known each other for years and the reality is we had only known them for 20 minutes! My mother and I couldn't be happier. Yes, the hotel itself is gorgeous, clean, and an interior design that is classic and inspiring but again, it is the staff that makes this hotel shine. I am so sad to leave but I'm so excited to come back and make this hotel my home away from home. My advice to anyone looking to come to Egypt would be to consider this hotel not because of the name but because of the people that will make your stay one to remember. Thank you again to all that helped us, welcomed us, and made the end of our trip to Egypt memorable and enjoyable. Masr, Om El Donya 🤍

The hotel is super luxurious. I loved the paintings and the interior. Their Valet service was very good. They managed to get my car in about 10 minutes inspite of the big number of cars they were bringing. The food is so tasty with very nice presentation. Staff are friendly and are always available to assist you. Although it is expensive, but the experience deserves.

The rooms were a bit outdated when compared to other Ritz-Carlton hotels. The service was fantastic, and I have no complaints. The location was the point I felt was lacking the most. The hotel is located right next to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo within a walking distance of 5 minutes. The issue comes into Cairo as a whole. The whole city is filled with dust and rundown infrastructure with little to no urban planning. Therefore, I believe there is not much room for improvement locstion-wise anywhere else in Cairo. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my stay and would love to visit again.

Sometimes you stay at an expensive hotel and it's expensive in name only. The Nile Ritz-Carlton, however, delivers on every level. The staff is phenomenal, the rooms are immaculate, and the atmosphere is opulent without being ostentatious. True perfection.

Biggest pool in Cairo downtown hotels, which totally makes up for the fact that the pool has no view. Amazing rooms with breathtaking Nile view - windows floor to ceiling. Food is delicious but really expensive. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Always a good time to be had when you’re “PUTTING ON THE RITZ” BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH is a great excuse to get fancy! I feel like a Princess when I step into the lobby! They have impeccable Service and Hospitality! Due to Covid protocol Each time I’ve been My food has been served and brought to my table! The Alexandrian Seafood 🦞 (grilled or fried) is always my go to, but they buffet also boast tons of SUSHI, MEZZE salads, fresh bread and CHEESE! Great Salmon Lox and other goodies! Other highlights are the Italian Station which makes Fresh Pasta and Risotto and the Latin/Asian fusion Station! We won’t even talk about the delectable DESSERTS!! My favorite part is they start pouring light! But by the end of the day you can get them to pour a proper MIMOSA! 🥂🥂 3/4 bubblé and just a dash of OJ! HAPPY BRUNCHING

First off i am in Cairo for buisness and not as a tourist. I stay with Marriot Hotels 150 nights a year. After arriving and checking in they welcomed me and acknowledged my Ambassador status. They said they don't have any room upgrades at this time , but they would upgrade me in 2 days. Ok no problem. I arrive in the 1 King regular room. Adjusted the air conditioner and not much happens. Kept waiting and nothing. Called front desk about it. They send Maint and find the air filter is 100% clogged. That tells me that AC has been neglected for a long time. And previous guests in the room had the same issue. They fix it. Ok. Second day I return back to hotel and find there is no toilet paper in bathroom at all. Like cleaners removed old roll and forgot to put on new one. After 2 days I inquire about the upgrade again. Now they are saying they won't have anything untill another 3 days. I checked the Marriot App and I found suites and rooms with better views were available for duration of my stay which was 2 weeks. And not to mention Ritz Carlton does not give lounge access to Marriot status holders. Even the highest tier. So if anyone is staying here for buisness you will not get the same perks as in other Marriot properties. After all that i decided to switch hotels to another Marriot in Cairo. I am trying to be fair with this review. The hotel itself was nice and staff for the most part were great. The restaurants and food on property were amazing. Also the breakfast was really good. My main issue is being lied to about available room inventory. Also the lounge access i am now aware is that Ritz will not honor Marriot status. So if your here for tourism and staying a couple nights it's probably fine. But for long term business, there are other Marriot properties nearby.

Their rooms and services are rather elegant. The employees are most polite and the food ranges from great to excellent. Everything is slightly pricey but it’s worth the experience. The only downside is that it’s in the middle of the city so there’s no seaside suites, but at least there’s a pool :)

During my recent stay at The Nile Ritz-Carlton in Cairo, I found myself disappointed by the overall experience, especially considering the steep price I paid for my stay. Here is an honest review of my time at the hotel. One of the most glaring issues I encountered was the exorbitant pricing at The Nile Ritz-Carlton. The rates charged for both rooms and services were significantly higher than what could be justified by the overall quality and experience provided. I had expected a luxurious and memorable stay commensurate with the high price tag, but unfortunately, that was not the case. While the location of the hotel along the Nile River is certainly desirable, offering picturesque views and easy access to some attractions, it did little to compensate for the shortcomings I encountered throughout my stay. The promise of luxury and opulence associated with the Ritz-Carlton brand was not fully delivered. One aspect that fell short of expectations was the quality of the rooms. Despite the elegant decor and comfortable furnishings, there were noticeable signs of wear and tear, indicating a lack of proper maintenance. Additionally, the size of the rooms did not justify the steep prices, leaving me feeling underwhelmed. The service at The Nile Ritz-Carlton also left much to be desired. While some staff members were attentive and accommodating, there were instances where the service was lacking. Slow response times, unfulfilled requests, and a general lack of enthusiasm from the staff created a sense of disappointment. For the price paid, I had expected a higher level of professionalism and attentiveness. Dining options at the hotel were underwhelming, both in terms of quality and value for money. The on-site restaurants offered limited choices, and the food did not live up to the reputation of a luxury establishment. The taste and presentation of the dishes were average at best, failing to create a memorable dining experience. Furthermore, the amenities provided at The Nile Ritz-Carlton did not justify the high price point. The fitness center lacked modern equipment and space, limiting the options for guests looking to maintain their fitness routines. Similarly, the pool area felt crowded and did not provide the serene and relaxing atmosphere one would expect from a luxury hotel. In summary, my stay at The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo was marred by the disappointment of paying a premium price for an experience that failed to meet expectations. The overpricing, combined with average rooms, lackluster service, underwhelming dining options, and subpar amenities, left me questioning the value provided. If you are considering a stay at this hotel, I would suggest exploring other options that offer better value for your money and a more memorable experience in Cairo. Please note that this review reflects my personal experience and opinion during my stay at The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo.

This hotel has a lot of really nice amenities and of course location location. Being on the Nile River while you set poolside sipping on your favorite beverage is priceless. Most rooms do have a partial view of the Nile as well.

I only attended a conference and didn't stay in rooms or use the pool. They have a lot of conference rooms with multiple sizes that are well furnished. Hotel entrance, interior and everything looks elegant. Event rest rooms has beautiful and luxerious decoration. The view from 2nd floor is awesome as the hotel faces the nile river directly. The strange thing was the service guys who didn't act professional and few of them weren't friendly. May be because it was very crowded event reserving many rooms so they outsourced? But still service should stand for everything else the hotel is about. It is at the downtown so it is a very convenient location. Breakfast and lunch served during the event I attended was okay but desert was exceptional with many tasty varieties. I saw the pool and it looks so beautiful but of course didn't use it. It is a limited experience but I thought it is good to share from event attendee point of view.

It is located in the heart of the city between the Nile, the Egyptian Museum and Tahrir Square. You can enjoy the night in the hotel's restaurant, where the hotel offers beautiful singing performances by artists with beautiful voices and oriental Arabic dance. When you leave the hotel, you can also take a stroll in the carriage. Then take another tour in the marine boat to take a picnic in the Nile and there is also the Walk Square, where it overlooks the Nile

Had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The staff are so welcoming, humble and helpful. The service is outstanding. Just a side note, the food was not the best and also majority of the plugs were not working in the room. The rest is 5 stars!

This is the best hotel I have ever been to. The service was excellent, this hotel is so safe to be at and the security is very high. Everything around and in the hotel is clean, every object is sparkling clean here. The employees are extremely nice, kind and helpful. The waiters are amazing. The view is unbelievable, I could go out to the balcony and see an amazing view of the Nile river. The view at night is worth seeing. They brought us desserts directly to our room as gifts. While we were at the awesome breakfast, the manager brought us the chef who cooked us the amazing food. He was very kind to us and welcomed me and my husband to the hotel. Later that day, the employees brought us koshary right from the kitchen. It was in a cute box and it was the best meal i have ever had in my life 🌶️. Next time we visit Cairo me and my husband decided we will always stay at this hotel.

A beautiful hotel in every way. From the service, ambience, personal touch , quality of rooms. Nothing was too much for the staff at the Ritz. They really looked after us and before we could even say anything they would just know what we need. We only stayed for 1 night as we had stopped over to see the sites in Cairo. Breakfast was good quality and adequate The junior suite we stayed in was spacious and the fragrance throughout the entire building was was refreshing. The swimming pool was heated and was around 25m in length, great for laps. This hotel made me realise why i am committed to the Marriott bonvoy membership. Thank you

While the AC and TV didn’t work, this place still gets a 5 star review because the service was so personalized. Made sure my extremely-difficult-to please-only-half-Slavic-but-somehow-more-than-100%-Slavic girlfriend felt super special for her birthday with a cake and snacks above and beyond the standard welcome gift and everyone from the front desk to the concierge was always extremely attentive.

Very unfortunate, the hotel cares more about those making weddings and parties there than their guests staying long term. 3 out of 5 nights there were weddings till 2 am and we could not sleep. No one could do anything about it. No one cares about you. Room service is NOT linked to the hotel and you cannot put it on the room.... Breakfast is not fresh sometimes. Definitely not 5 star. I thought it was a 3 star hotel. I am exhausted after this stay.

It was lovely staying at the Ritz. We had a room with the view of Nile. The room size, cleanliness and comfort was 5/5. Staff was friendly and courteous. The heated pool was great. But the best of the best part was the breakfast. They achieved the same feel of an all inclusive in Cancun, which is hard to achieve in a restaurant. We had everything from parathas to pancakes. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Location is fantastic in the heart of the city.

The overall cleanliness of the hotel and room were good. Service can be slow in their restaurants - we ordered a drink, it never came so we asked about it again only to be charged twice when the bill arrived. Food in their more traditional restaurant was a bit bland. Also, expect a fee for everything - to sit in the lounge during dinner time there's an entertainment tax. To just buy water from their store includes a 12% service fee. Didn't feel like I was getting five start experience overall.

It was the first time staying in Hotel Ritz in Cairo everything was amazing except the service. The reason that I put 2 at your services is that their English is horrible and your company works with a lot of foreigners so my advice is to make some English courses to your staff. We tried all of your restaurant and we had to show them the dishes . I feel so sorry about but really I say it with love about your company . Thank you

There are not enough beautiful words to describe my experience. I stayed in this hotel from the end of November to the beginning of December 2023, and I stayed in room 738. The pictures are of the view from my room. It provides a spectacular view of the Nile and the best view of the Cairo skyline! The room is very comfortable with a separate shower and deep soaking tub. The amenities are 1st class and, if you're Muslim, they provide a prayer rug. The food is among the best in Cairo. I had the brunch style breakfast everyday and the selection and quality was impeccable! They even bake their own bread on site in a clay oven that's visible to the guests. I also ate in Bab-alShaq and the lounge cafe, and everything was equally delicious. My highest praise, however, is reserved for the staff. They truly went above and beyond. They clean all public areas every 15-30 minutes. They take time to know your name & the name of your guests. They serve everything with a smile and in style. I never waited more than 5 minutes for any service that I ordered, including the bellhop. They are a fantastic representation of the Ritz brand and, in my opinion, they are on par with the Ritz Park Ave. I highly recommend using their car service. It's a good value and saves many headaches when trying to navigate Cairo. And, definitely, use their Airport arrival to hotel service. It's a better service than what the airport provides; I got through security & passport control in less than 15 minutes and all I had to was sit down. My Greeter handled everything.

Despite a hiccup during check-in where my reserved room wasn't available, the Ritz Carlton in Egypt managed to accommodate my request for a room change. The inconvenience of switching rooms at 3 am was a downside, but once settled, I found the rooms to be clean and well-maintained. The food at the hotel was excellent, offering delicious options for every meal. The hotel's stunning views added to the overall charm. Despite the check-in issue, I would recommend staying at the Ritz Carlton. Just be sure to confirm your room reservation in advance.

It's a great hotel. The service is great, having said that the hotel management should give training to their employees to leave the guests alone during breakfast. They come every minute to ask you if you need something or have a small chat. Too many employees at the entrance of the breakfast and hotel. Too many managers at the breakfast. One serious problem are the weddings during the weekends DJ way too loud can be heard on the 12th floor where we had two rooms, extends after mid night! Make sure the rooms are Nile view, hopefully that would take care of that problem.

Had a wonderful stay at The Nile Ritz Carlton a couple of weeks ago. Highly recommend upgrading to the club level. The staff were always very welcoming and it was a beautiful space to relax and enjoy different foods and beverages at different parts of the day. Sandra, Sara, Marize were all very helpful with setting up airport transfers and restaurant reservations for our group as well. Beautiful pool area...very large and refreshing pool. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The staff were all great but Mohamed stood out for our group for being extra helpful for us. We enjoyed the food, atmosphere and entertainment at Bab El-Sharq one night as well...recommend for dinner. The housekeeping staff were always friendly and expedient the two times a day they were in the room. One piece of advice is that if you are on the Nile side (great view!), there is a party boat across the river that is open late certain nights so bring ear plugs if the noise may bother you. I brought them and slept great. Highly recommend!

The Nile Ritz was amazing. The location is great. Central location to everything. The hotel was very safe. The security screened the cars and people coming onto the hotel grounds and in the building. Also, hotel has car service to/from airport and concierge will help plan your activities and excursions. The Giza pyramids are about 20min to 30min away depending on if you are going on weekday or weekend. Traffic is better on the weekend. The Egyptian museum is right behind the hotel (very much walking distance). The market and shops is also behind the hotel, like a 2min-5min walk depending where you want to shop. The ultimate best thing about this hotel is the food!!!!! Honestly, me and my husband were very tired from the tours and excursions; we ended up just ordering room service the whole stay. We did go to the hotels restaurant, like a Italian restaurant. I promise you room service was better than all the food places we tried. Specifically the lamb chops; AMAZING!!!! Also, the hotel breakfast spread AMAZING!!!! The service was great and very considerate. The hotel provides robes, slippers, toothbrush, mouthwash, loofah etc etc. Housekeeping was great and very attentive. Ahmed Mansy took care of us. He noticed I was using the robe and slippers and one day we came back to our hotel and Ahmed had the robe and slippers laid out on the bed ready for me to whine down. You will get overwhelmed with the service and who to tip because its so many people trying to help you and it goes by fast. I recommend having the hotel bring up/down your bags (because they will designate one person) and that one person will stay with your bags. So you know exactly who to tip and you wont run out of USD or EGP cash. The whole stay was great. I have no complaints at all!!!! Loved it and highly recommend.

Loved the Nile Ritz Carlton! Our service gentleman helped cleaning our room twice daily and assisted with questions we had about the area. Front desk assisted in having someone buy us fresh fruit from the market and brought it to us. Concierge would always find us at one part of the hotel or another to make sure our needs are met, if we needed a ride somewhere, or make restaurant reservations for us. We were leaving on his day off. He knocked on our suite door to let us know that he will be arriving, on his day off, an hour before we leave, so he and his colleagues can wish us a farewell. It was the best farewell we’ve received in all of Cairo. They also have nightly entertainment, which we never missed. Also kudos to the sous chefs. While we were at the breakfast buffet, the sous chefs came and introduced themselves to us and asked if there is something that is not currently on the buffet that we wish to have. My husband suggested Egyptian okra soup. Before we finished our breakfast, the okra soup was made and presented to him. Now that is five star service. Thank you for all that you have done. You’ve made our stay in Cairo Amazing.

Those who wrote that this hotel doesn’t meet Marriott or Ritz standards, are either joking or half awake! This hotel is unique, from the moment you park your car, hosted to your room by reception representative, then this fabulous room overlooking the River Nile, then staying along the pool enjoying every moment of your chill, snacks and drinks then dining at their greatest Italian restaurant….leave aside their outstanding breakfast buffet the following morning Ladies and Gents Don’t listen to those who see the world from its back😊😊….:this hotel is absolutely great!

The staff are extremely courteous and helpful, everyone from the front desk, to security guards, managers, waiters. I had 2 different back-to-back reservations and they kept me in the same room and even upgrade it from city view to Nile view. The room is standard, when knowing it's my first time in Egypt, they gave me a small souvenir as a gift. Extremely happy with this stay, a welcomed tranquil "safe haven" from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Had an incredible stay at the Ritz Carlton in Cairo. The service was top notch and couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. I felt very safe staying here and the hotel is in a great central location. The rooms were beautiful and the attention to detail throughout the hotel was lovely. The breakfast was next level with many different stations fille dwith delicious food and the breakfast manager (fayed? sayed?) was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend staying here!

Worst Ritz Carlton stay of my entire life. Booked the room for 3 nights and ended up forfeiting the last night and moving to another hotel because of the NOISE. There is a wedding here every night that goes into the wee hours of the morning, if you book an 8 am tour, forget about getting any sleep until 4 or 5 in the morning. The rooms are not soundproof, and there are actual vibrations in the room that will give you a massive headache. When I called downstairs to ask what time the weddings end, they were excessively rude and acted like I was a huge bother. Have never had such bad service at a Ritz.

I was looking for a place to eat when I found this on Google. Right from the entrance, I was treated well n professional. The cooking staff well smiling n happy to serve. It helped that I also spoke the language. I presume they spoke English to accommodate non Arab speakers. Food was plentiful and of variety to accommodate those w a variety of taste. The view of the Nile was breathtaking and unique bc all I experienced prior to this was on ground level.

Excellent service. If you are here check out the restaurant on the top floor. I enjoyed the Salmon, asparagus and potatoes. The have a buffet style breakfast and lunch on the first floor that is pretty good with fresh fruit and juices. Food and drinks are affordable.

prices are not for an everyday outing, definitely not the place for a quick bite, having said that, the service is exemplary, the food is fantastic, don't expect big portions, instead look forward to amazing flavour and gourmet ingredients, very obvious the chef put some love into the preparation process, both the salmon and chicken were great, yogurt moouse was a very unique dessert and to wrap things up, Mohamed Samir our assistant was extremely accomodating and pleasant. Overall, highly recommend for a special night. P.S. the espresso was literally the best !

The Ritz Carlton Cairo upholds their reputation for impeccable service. We were greeted in the expansive lobby and assisted with a quick, seamless check in. Our breakfast was included and was of the best I’ve ever had. Everything is served in beautifully arranged stations by attentive and friendly staff. There are a wide variety of breakfast foods offered including a traditional Egyptian station. Given the current Covid circumstances, the hotel takes extra care to serve food masked, with gloves, and all dishes are behind glass partitions. The rooms at the Ritz are elegant and clean with great views of the Nile or City. The decor is a bit dated but overall nice. We dined at Vivo on the second floor. Mustafa, our server, was attentive and provided excellent service. The menu offered a wide selection of Italian inspired food in a smart, casual atmosphere. The only unfortunate part was trying to sleep before an early morning flight with a wedding reception on full blast. I felt like I was trying to sleep on the dance floor. As a guest, notice about this would have been helpful but unfortunately even moving our room which was on the 10th floor would not have helped the pounding of the base. I’m sure it was a beautiful wedding though! Otherwise, it has been a pleasure staying here during our time in Cairo

Sad to say but this is one of the poorest Ritz-Carlton hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. Normally renowned for great customer service, this one falls well short. From rampant smoking on the non-smoking floor, loud music until 3 am because the hotel is prioritising local weddings over its hotel guests, to staff who lack the most basic knowledge of their own services, this is surely a hotel in need of an entirely new management team and make over. Very sad indeed. Recommend you book the Four Seasons instead.

We were there for a special family occasion and had many rooms booked. Some of the reservations were missed up and rooms switched, obviously due to high occupancy, so not a very good start. The staff in housekeeping and the daily buffet restaurant were excellent, responsive and tolerant and they deserve the positive evaluation part of this review. Other services, including the reception, slow concierge and the telephone operators were not close to a Ritz standard. A good place for memorable occasions though.

Great stay, professional staff and a positive customer experience overall. Special thanks to Chef Ahmad Sobhy (I hope I am not misspelling his name) for his generous attentions. Thanks Mr Sobhy, your waffle was the best part of my breakfast for 2 days in a row! Thanks also to the cafeteria guy (was his name Ibrahim?) who went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. Thanks everyone!

What an amazing and luxurious hotel it is. We enjoyed our one week stay and had one of the best experiences ever in Cairo. It all started with meeting Nabil the doorman with his beautiful smile and then with Yousef at the reception desk who helped us with our check in. Mostafa and Arafa from the house keeping, made our stay amazing with paying attention to details with their beautiful smile and attitude. Also Ibrahim as well made it a pleasant experience. To top it up Hashem the house keeping supervisor also made sure our needs are met and everything is to our liking. Abdullah El Sayed, ohhh ohhh what an amazing guy he is. Every morning made sure we are taken care off from our coffee, juices to making sure I have my specialty Egyptian breakfast made up to my likings. Fresh Iskandarani fool, taameya and to top it up feeteer meshaltet with 3assal. WOWWWW. Abdullah made sure to remember my type of coffee without asking (decaf coffee). Also Amr did an amazing job taking care of us when Abdullah is serving other tables. Sayed Farouk the lounge supervisor also made sure to receive our feedback with a great attitude and smile and we really enjoyed our conversation with him. Ayman, with his amazing smile and shisha, always made sure we are hooked the whole evening and with our couple visits to the restaurant. The pool team were unbelievable from Mohamad to Ayman with all the time amazing smile to Sameh at the aqua restaurant. These guys made our stay at the pool so great with paying attention to everything we need. The spa team were also amazing from Lobna to captain Hassan. The service was more than we asked for. Sameh Mahrous, what an amazing person he is with his beautiful smile and great talk we had. He is always there every afternoon at the lobby taking care of the customers and their needs. To top it up, we also received a follow up phone call from the hotel after 2 days to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. The Nile Ritz-Carlton Cairo is an amazing hotel with top notch service. Keep it up team and I hope to see you all again very soon.

Definitely makes the list of the best hotels in the heart of Cairo. I thoroughly enjoyed the scenery as well as the cleanliness. The views on the Nile side of the building are incredible! The level of respect and courtesy of the hospitality is top notch, and made the stay even better than I expected. Highly recommend staying here even if it’s just for one night.

Was attending a wedding there, and I was shocked by the complex policy of parking. If you are not giving your car key to the valet, then you've to pay 120 EGP to use the parking yourself. and when you park, you can't use the elevator in the basement, it's for staff only. So you've to walk upstairs while you are wearing a soiree dress and high heels, just to get along with their parking process. Awful experience

It was a great experience visiting today The Nile Ritz Carlton Cairo, iconic location in Cairo, Egypt along the Nile River with views of old and new Egypt. It carries a rich legacy, long-celebrated as an icon of luxury within the city. Views are unmatched, encompassing Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum, whilst guests are immersed in the diversity of the Egyptian culture, and treated to the service of Kings.

Our room was lovely. On the 12th floor, we overlooked the famous Tahrir Square. The weekend brunch was delicious as well. Breakfast was plentiful but they cleared our every single item at exactly 11am. Exactly. You might be grabbing a yogurt that will be taken away from you. I think a customer-focused 15 minute grace period after 11 would better represent the brand. More so, during this hectic time of clearing dishes, our table didn’t have fresh silverware or water glasses. I asked the manager for a fork and he gave me a DIRTY USED one from another table. It was absolutely revolting. I was almost sick as I didn’t notice until it was halfway to my mouth. He tried to ask us about our stay after giving me a fresh one but that hardly makes up for it. Absolutely disgusting. Also, we saw a rat in the lobby by the restaurant. :/ Its a big city and we live in NYC so it’s possible, but maybe get that taken care of ASAP. The rooftop was nice.

I am a frequent traveller and usually a St regis or Ritz Fan , i had chosen the Ritz Nile because the location is great , the hotel is well kept with a wonderful pool and beautiful views. The staff were very friendly and my suite was big and nice with an amazing view of the nile. Everything was as expected the only downfall to this property is the Breakfast service was horrible everyday and the room service was actually horrendous 3 times I ordered was up to an hour wait the only saving grace for the poor service was the food as every meal was top notch even after the hour wait , hopefully they fix these issues cause the hotel is a great stay.
