The worst steak ever. The first one i tried, (medium well) came well done and so chewy, informed the staff, they apologized and prepared a second one. Guess what, still so chewy. I guess the quality of meat is the problem. Mashed potato was over liquidated, you will think its a mashed potato soup. I guess thats why they put it in a bowl. Atmosphere is adequate, good dish presentation and staff were cooperative. If you are targeting a good steak, look somewhere else.

The only advice I can give is stay away at all cost. The place have a good views but that is it. Food is mediocre & service is as bad as it gets. When I went there they were busy arranging tables for some event & they weren't ready to receive us despite having made a reservation. The tables turned out to be a wobbly plywood top that was dancing to the touch (picture below) Their Idea of "Steak de Paris" is a rubbery piece of meat with butter on top 😯 Other dishes where simply tasteless. This is definitely the worst restaurant experience I had in Cairo if not ever, clearly the chief & staff are just amateurs who charge premium for a service that they know nothing of, shame that such place exists.

A number of different restaurants on this Nile Boat dining area. Italian. Egyptian, French and Asian on the menu. It is pricey but plenty of tasty options. We wanted the Indian but it has closed down, so we dined in the Asian this time. The only thing I really dislike in Egyptian restaurant dining options when indoors is smoking. There is no separation between smokers and nonsmokers so inadvertently one will always have an amount of secondary cigarette smoke to go with the food. There needs to be a better air extraction above tables if smoking is allowed indoors. Apart from that, people are wearing masks and sanitizer is available on request.

Highly recommended Nile view boat where many restaurants options are available for different cuisines; oriental, Italian, Indian, international, etc. Food is perfectly cooked using fine ingredients. Staff are highly qualified and professional. This is my favourite and no 1 destination for my family gathering and especially when having guests. If use CIB credit card for payment, you will receive free dessert per person.

We had a friend's birthday there and it wasn't the best decision! The waiter was very rude and insist that we all order a main dish and then threatened to charge us a minimum charge. The only issue we had was that we requested a plate with no meat and it came with meat. The waiter replaced it for us with no problem. The view is amazing. This is large boat on the Nile in Zamalek. It has various restaurants with different themes, Italian, French, Egyptian and Asian also. I opted for L'Asiatique restaurant where they had an extensive far Eastern menu including Sushi and Thai dishes. I tried the PadThai, it was quite good with decent portion size and finished off with a large dessert of sticky toffee pudding...which was lovely also. The dessert was big also. I walked the 2km + back to my hotel after this meal just because it was bigger than expected and I needed the exercise 😅. But would recommend Le Pacha boat simply because of the different choices available. The only thing missing from this restaurant was views over the nile as it was below deck. The other restaurants on the boat had views. But it didn't put me off.

Perfect place for all the people that love a relaxing and chill vibes. The music and the atmosphere is really elegant. I feel like i am in Italy when i am at this restaurant, and the food is absolutely prefect and i would recommend seafood pasta 👌

Piccolo mondo used to be amazing, unfortunately the food isn’t as good as it used to be, but it’s still a beautiful place with an incredible view the atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly. Probably one of the best dinner restaurants I’ve been in Egypt (so far). From the service to the food everything was simply the best. We wanted to had Indian food, but I happens to be being renewed so we sat at the Asian restaurant and luckily for us, they also offered Indian menu which makes us extra happy. We ended up ordering from both! The only thing we didn’t like was that people where smoking inside the restaurant and because they don’t have windows, it can get quite uncomfortable the smell, but not a deal breaker, since food make it out!

Le Steak at Le Pacha is one of my favorite restaurants. It’s a classic. From delicious, quality food at very decent portions to service that is par excellence, this place is definitely worth a visit. The Nile view is the cherry on top. Located at the mezzanine floor of this old boat, the window seats and 19th century interior make you feel like you’re immersed in the charming waters of the Nile at a different time in history.

Very convenient setting for watching games with friends and family at Carlo’s with good quality of food and a variety of cuisine’s. The best on the La Pacha 1901 boat is Le Steak in terms of view of the Nile and the performance of the staff. The food there is also excellent with the extra option to order from one of the other restaurants’ menus if you wish. I prefer the more French/international default menu but they also provide the Asian fusion menu from L’Asiatique and the Italian Piccolo Mondo which share the lower floor of the boat.

Though it is not cheap, the food & service are great as usual.

The place has a good Shisha but the weiters are little grampy , but they cheated with the bill charging us double price on one of the meals, ( the extra was 500 egp) . As they have minumem charge of 400 egp Definatly not coming back

It was very cosy and fun eating there. The staff are friendly and welcoming (as all Egyptians are.) This dish was my favourite one. Even the bread was good.

La Pacha is a boat that combines multiple restaurants. It’s a very nice location with a nice view on the Nil river. We went to the first one, Le Tarbouche, Egyptian food, very delicious, staff was friendly and helpful. I would come back there!

I love this place. If it was a no smoking zone, it would have been perfect 100. Thanks to Arvind Bidoni, cheif Cook of this restaurant for making our dinner most memorable in Egypt tour.

Food was not good...acceptable but definitely not worth a visit.

Meat was decent, fries too. Pepper sauce wasn't homemade and not served aside. Cola had no gas. Service was nice but too present, constantly observing and jumping in as soon as you finish a drink or plate or platter, a bit too prompt I'd say. Dessert was a mistake, I tried the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice-cream and it was terrible, frozen brownie drowned with chemical concentrate of chocolate and caramel sauces, wouldn't recommend dessert there. Decorations were nice, creating a slightly French atmosphere but the techno music was simply bad taste.

First day in Egypt and wanted to try true Egyptian food. So we decided to go here since it was within walking distance of our hotel. Had the pigeon and rice and it was quite tasty. Service was good. Servings were plentiful. Only problem was that the waiter only got half of our order. The second dish came out later. I will place the blame on me for not communicating it clearly to the waiter. Though the menu is in both Arabic and English there is still a bit of a language barrier. Nice atmosphere. Specifically we went to Le Tarbouche which is one of many restaurants on this fixed “boat”.

Lovely and helpful staff, delicious food, amazing views. What’s not to like? Highly recommended if you’re visiting Cairo and would like to have a meal by the Nile without the overwhelming crowdedness and noise.

I got invited there for lunch , stuff are very friendly and super respectful. They were helpful and professional, vibes and atmosphere are good and warm

the food wasn’t good, it was below average, we ordered cream chicken soup and cream mushroom soup, the soup was pretty average, we were excited for the food less that we knew the soup was the only thing that tasted “good”. we ordered (raviolo di ricotta e spinach alla panna) the pasta wasn’t well boiled also the sauce didn’t taste good, i ordered (spaghetti al pesto) let me tell you that it was the saddest thing i have ever ate in my whole life, first the pesto sauce was barely there and when i tried it it only tasted like spaghetti with oil😄, was extremely disappointed. ( by the way we didn’t finish the food we took it as take away). the dessert was okay not something special. the service was on point and we liked the place’s decorations but for sure wasn’t worth the 400 LE per person.
