The restaurant was really clean and air conditioned. Menu was in English though the staff speak limited English. Mango juice was really thick and fresh, extremely delicious. The lamb shank was one of the best things I had in Egypt and it had an amazing tomato based sauce to go with it. There are limited vegetarian options so had to choose one meat option and ask them to take out the meat. The tahini was a bit thin and watery for my liking. Prices were reasonable.

I have been an El Dahan customer for quite almost 6 years now, but all through food ordering apps, getting the food delivered at home (from the same branch, though). However, this is the first time I visit the branch in person, and let me tell you, the food doesn't compare to what I have been eating during all those past years. The grilled chicken is succulent, hot and fresh out of the grill. The soup is splendid, the only drawback was that the arugula in the arugula & pomegranate salad was wilted and a bit more bitter than usual. Other than that, the staff is friendly, the environment and ambience are okay, nothing super, but the food was great. Definitely would visit again, but would think twice before ordering that salad again. Oh, the prices won't burn a hole in your wallet, yes, it's a bit pricey, but nowadays what isn't?
