The staff was very nice and polite. The breakfast was simple but pleasant and filling. However recommendations to the hotel itself would be the following: when we arrived late at night the doors were closed and very difficult to find. Once we found the doors we knocked for about 5 to 10 minutes and then randomly saw a cable coming out of a window on the third floor which led to a buzzer, we pressed it and that was the ringer for the hotel. The water pressure was great in the hotel however during the day there was almost no hot water to be used. The hotel is very very old but the rooms are actually quite nice. The only improvement in the room that could be made would be the sheets, which were exceptionally old to the point that it was very rough on the skin (Sandpaper feel). As far as location goes it’s centrally located in downtown Cairo. However if you’re there to see the pyramids or other sites I would recommend looking at places closer to that that have a view of those sites for an added benefit. Again I would like to state that the staff was very friendly and I appreciated everything that they did. (If there are spelling or grammar’s in this that are errors it’s because of speech to text)

Good location. I walked to the Cairo museum. Very friendly and kind staff. I had lunch and dinner with them and it was one of my best memories in Cairo. I liked my room which was nice, quiet and clean. I recommend this hotel to Solo or small group of tourist.

Thank you gentlemen for the great experience. The rooms were superb and comfortable. Ahmed and all the other management staff were extremely helpful. Central to all the locations you need to be in. If I return to Cairo I'm staying here again.

After days of stay in Cairo, I came to the conclusion that Agor was a very good option: well located, clean, and best of all, great courtesy and help from the staff.

Overrated, expensive and only suitable for Western tourist. Glass partitions instead of washroom walls. Single room is a typical box room with no window or exhaust. Double room is average. You can find better rooms is much lower price in the same area. Staff are very friendly

Really friendly staff at this hotel! The location is walking distance to the Egyptian Museum and to the Khan el Khalili market and an affordable Uber ride away to pretty much anywhere in Cairo. The rooms could use a little love- super old sheets and some things falling apart, but overall would recommend this place. The staff, especially Mohammed, took really good care of us and made us tea and coffee and even shared his home made food with us.

The hotel is located at a prominent location close to Tahir Square and Egypt museum. While it is a part of an old building, the hotel is very modern with all the amenities. The rooms were clean, grandly decorated and with attached washroom. I found the glass washroom as slightly inconvenient as it lacked the privacy which one needs while conducting bathroom rituals. I was in a room with twin beds, but even then the washroom was the one that belonged to a honeymoon suite. The breakfast was average - booked eggs, bread, juice and coffee. Overall, I found this place a little expensive for the services and amenities it offered.

They don't provide basic toiletries, same breakfast every day, nothing other than brake fast prepared in kitchen. Bathroom not suitable if you are with kids as there is no privacy.
