Disastrous Stay at (Concorde El Salam Cairo By Royal Tulip) I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Concorde El Salam Cairo By Royal Tulip, and I must say that it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I could sense that this was going to be a regrettable stay. Firstly, the check-in process was an exercise in frustration. The receptionist seemed disinterested and barely acknowledged my presence. It took an excruciatingly long time to get my room key, and the lack of efficiency was truly remarkable. Upon entering my room, I was hit with a musty smell that immediately turned me off. The carpets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages, and the overall ambiance was gloomy and outdated. The lack of attention to cleanliness was evident, with visible dust on surfaces and even hair in the bathroom. The amenities promised on their website were a far cry from reality. The so-called "high-speed" Wi-Fi was anything but, making it nearly impossible to get any work done. The gym they boasted about was a tiny, poorly-maintained space with malfunctioning equipment. It felt like they had completely neglected their facilities. The noise levels in the hotel were unbearable. Thin walls allowed every sound from neighboring rooms and the hallway to seep in, disrupting any hope of a peaceful night's sleep. It was as if they had never heard of soundproofing. The dining experience was equally disappointing. The breakfast buffet was lackluster, with stale pastries and watery eggs. The staff at the restaurant were inattentive, and it was clear that they were understaffed. To top it all off, the customer service throughout my stay was shockingly bad. My attempts to voice my concerns were met with indifference and shrugged shoulders. It felt like the staff had no interest in making my stay even remotely enjoyable. In conclusion, I would strongly advise against staying at Concorde El Salam Cairo By Royal Tulip. This establishment is a prime example of how a lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and customer service can ruin what should have been a relaxing experience. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by looking for accommodations elsewhere.

Well the food there is really delicious and that was the best part but rooms aren’t clean enough and needs more care the TV wasn’t working, floor wasn’t clean enough and the toilette seems to be too old it should be changed. Reception weren’t helpful enough and the hotel has their own system which is different then other known and 5 stars hotels Other wise it’s safe and fun for families other than that I would definitely choose another place

Oct. 2023, after one year I back again in this hotel. Service was significantly improved with respect for previous visits. Because of daily tight schedule, I asked to anticipate by 1 hour the opening of the gym. My request was satisfied, and I could enjoy it. There is nothing to complain about.

I am here for 2 weeks for dental treatment. The hotel is lovely a clean. The staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast has so much choice it would suit everyone. The pool is clean and heated in the winter. Lovely outside garden to sit in. Play area for the children.

Usually said old is gold… Concord old hotel and it keep the same level of the service… despite of the old furniture but it is clean and maintained, wide facilities and easy to use and some how modernized, the hotel had two view rooms to pool view and city view I recommend pool view, breakfast buffet is rich in the collections also having breakfast in its outdoor area is very cool. Parking area is very bad and not protected at all, I found my car dirty and has scratched.

Checked in as a family of 6 in 2 rooms to stay for 4 nights. I was shocked once I saw the room. The hotel rooms are very old and not well maintained BUT all of this was not the reason why i decided to write this review! First of all, they don’t really care about cleaning the rooms the way it should be. The bed sheets are super dirty and have major spots on them! The bathroom is not clean at all even after they clean it. I took too many pics of the room before and after cleaning. No big difference. I had to clean the bathroom again and again after they performed their cleaning to make sure that we can use it as a family that have little kids. Old and outdated is not good but filthy rooms, bed sheets and dirty bathroom are simply unacceptable! They charged us $1000 for 2 rooms and 4 nights which is WAY TOO MUCH for the service you receive. I really had very bad experience in this hotel and will NOT NEVER EVER RECOMMEND IT to anyone. I wish I can get my money back and will never come here again :(

Among the best places to stay at in Cairo. Great location. Clean. Very friendly check-in, staff. Professional. Reasonable pricing. Excellent breakfast. It's a bit older hotel but they keep it nicely updated. Excellent restaurants within hotel. Tons of restaurants around as well. Room service is great. Airport shuttle is a great included service. Wonderful friendly staff are it's best asset, from the ground up. Have been several times as a tourist. Would highly recommend

Service is poor , first room I had water leaking , water not going in bathtub or sink ..no complementary fruit plate ... breakfast is same daily and no much variety ...wrong info from staff that no open buffet for dinner I came to know that they have in last day when I was about to get my stuff ready to leave ...foods not quality in restaurants so greasy or oily!!!!...they changed the room next day where I faced same problem in bathtub. A/C wasn't working and not checked before I entered the room ,they checked and left dust on face towel and toilet without asking staff to come and clean.. You always find stuff missing in room ...it seems that they don't have checklist to follow ...even third day no one left fruit plate ....it seems that they distribute what it's left over from breakfast only on some room as the plate I got it second day the banana was brown colour !!!! No one bother even from managers to give some discount in room as compensation for this poor service No recommend this hotel at all

House keeping is so bad. Front desk stuff isn't professionally. The cost of dining is too high compared by the quality and quantity of food generally the hotel is rated maximum 3 star compared by the Egyptian hotels.

The opinion that I have today about this hotel is not favorable at all. My wife and I arrived on October 31 and we are still occupying the same room: 487. The problems began the next morning, at breakfast, with a treatment more like a fast food restaurant than a hotel of the category that obstinate: five stars. Obviously I complained and they didn't take long to apologize, which I gladly accept, although the problems remain practically the same; Added to this is a more than dubious room care service: to this day, the sheets on our beds have not yet been changed and we frequently have to ask for towels and, I remember once again: it is a hotel of five stars. I have the impression that it is not a problem of the people who attend directly, who are thanked for the effort to do their job, rather I think that the different heads of the areas are not up to what What would you expect in a hotel of this type.

Concorde 5 Stars on the outside 1 Star on the inside... Great location only 15mins from thr Airport. Gated with armed security at check in. The grounds, lobby and everything outside the rooms are 5 star luxury. NOW everything else. Rooms: Very old, looks like furniture, doors, lighting and everything but the sheets were from 1970. The 1st room we had the bath tub wall fell in and cause major flooding so we moved to a new room. 2nd room: Still very old and smelled like smoke. Must be from 1970s cigarettes. Coffee machine was broken, 1 light fixture wouldn't stay on and the fridge didn't turn on. Room Service: Large menu back everything we ordered lacked any taste. Breakfast buffet: The spread was amazing Large and looked top notch 5 star. Unfortunately 95pct of the food had no taste so we left disappointed. Other: Food service delivery did not deliver here. This place is all about the looks.

Not great. Passable. And 💯 not a five star hotel. More like a 5 star hotel in 1976 I'm sorry to say. Also, staff in need of training.

One of the best hotels in Cairo, been coming here for 5 years and tryed out other options but I'm definitely sticking to this. Enough assortiment of restaurants, nice breakfast, beautiful terrace for breakfast or dinner next to the pool, rooms are more than decent and clean enough for a European standard, it feels safe and it's near the airport (less than 10m)

It's close to the airport. Wasn't bad honestly. Had a room with a queen size bed and the view was very nice. There is security when you walk in and if you have luggage they WILL go through it. It was a bit much. Even in a taxi driving up they check the cars and ask a bunch of questions. It's probably normal there but I still didn't like it. However as far as the hotel room service was quick. Overall it was a good stay. It is an hour from Giza so keep that in mind if you are a tourist

I had a beautiful suite that overlooked the terrace. I was there for one night but would have lived to have been there for longer. The bed was the most comfortable bed thatbI ever slept on and the water was so hot in the shower. Just perfect!

Highly recommended. Ten minutes from the airport but a minus is that it is not downtown on the Nile, and a taxi ride to any tourist area is an arduous journey through heavy traffic.

Me and my partner spent a week here as our first trip abroad. It was absolutely fantastic. The rooms were beautiful and clean! Anything we needed help with, the management and staff were more than accommodating. The food was incredible. I honestly couldn’t recommend a better place to stay. As my first experience abroad, the hotel as well exceeded my expectations and I cannot wait to come again!

We stayed here for three days (last week). The place is well looked after and maintained. That staff are very helpful, such as Ahmed, Mohamed and Emad who work near the reception area, they took good care of us. The food is delicious and the swimming pool was clean and heated (which is great in this weather!). Some of the good points is the children's play area, which is very tidy. In addition, there are two screens for those who wish to play on Xbox or Sony PS (for an additional charge!). There's a free shuttle to and from the airport every hour. We will certainly be back again.

First impressions old but with good maintenance gives a good flavour, I like it 2nd impression I like it . Although the breakfast doesn’t have a lot of options. I would recommend skipping breakfast and May garb it form any place around . But definitely I would stay there again😊

Just checked in and staying for 3 nights. I was shocked that they don't have adapters or a USB port charging point. Plus the hotel is very old and not well maintained BUT all of this was not the reason why i decided to write this review! The bed sheets are super dirty and have major spots on them! I had to place towels on it to sleep! Old and outdated is not good but filthy rooms and bed sheets is simply unacceptable! :(

There is a place where you can have dinner around the pool in the evening, best is grilled chicken or meat, prices and service are very good. Only problem is that sometimes there are wedding parties nearby that are very noisy.

The Hotel is old , room serves staff are very bad , furniture are old ... expect staff shouting at each other just in front of your room while you are sleeping. Don't ever request a taxi from the hotel as they will ask you to pay 100 times the real price but order uber instead

Hotel is really really old and it shows. They are trying to keep it clean and staff is good. It's generally just okay at best.

The hotel is a very nice stay with its unique architecture. However the room service is not at its best. The hotel has many restaurants that serve good food. The rooms rates are a bit pricey.

the rooms were clean and tidy, the accommodation good, good BUT, I have the wonder that only the ala carte menu mattered, those of us who were at the buffet dinner didn't matter. We ordered a drink to 6 different people and within 1 hour it was not delivered. finally there was a mix up in our account …….

This was a very disappointing experience. The only good thing - is we were only here for two nights. When we checked into the first room, it smelled like something was rotting in the fridge. We called to get moved. At first, the reception was not willing to help out. Finally, they moved us after three calls. This time, into a smoking & a much more outdated. We just dealt with it at this point because we were tired from traveling and knew it wasn’t that long of a stay. Our one and only full day in Cairo — we needed to get our laundry done. Two large bags, a week’s worth of clothes. I also asked to clean the room. I did everything they asked me to do — before 9 a.m. — Left the knob hangers out & even talked to one of the staff when I left at 8:30 a.m. for our tour. The woman said “no problem.” After a full day at the pyramids & museum, our room was not cleaned nor was our laundry picked up. By no fault of ours, but the hotel is still making us pay “double” the fee for their mistake because it’s express. Even though, I had left at 8:30 a.m. for them to pick up. It’s not just the money — this is just terrible customer service. For as much as they are charging per night, I expected way better. I have traveled many places around the world. This was not a 5-star hotel.
