Terrible food that looks and tastes like a teenage kid has cooked it and that is missing half of the ingredients listed on the menu. Also, beware that they'll scam you on the bill by adding a 27% "applicable Tax" at the start of the bill like if it was another item you orderer, plus a 12%service charge on everything including the scam "applicable tax". So you'll end paying 43% "taxes" added to your bill. The did this to another couple of foreigners that paid before us too, who were also very unhappy about it. I feel sorry for the waiters who were nice and obviously didn't get a tip because clearly out of that 43% "taxes" they're not getting any. Don't eat here, it's terrible and it's a scam.

Let me just say if you’re in Egypt and you don’t visit this cafe, you’re making a big mistake. The ambiance is unbelievably comfortable, the air conditioning is the perfect temperature and the food/coffee/service is the best I have eaten/drank/received so far in this country. Food is good. Place is clean and comfortable. Affordable prices. However, people smoke inside and the staff wanted to charge us for 2 bottles of water that we didn't open/drink. I recommend the pesto pasta and the bolognese pasta.

A very unfortunate excuse for a coffee and pastry shop. I love the fact how here in egypt you find places that specialize in doing one thing. Well coffee time makes about 10:00 different things and I bet you. It makes all thousand terrible if I can judge from the honey cake and the fudge cake that we got. The best part about this place was the people once again. The people of egypt and cairo come to save a poor excuse of an establishment.

Pizza base dough was raw. The toppings were ok. Great flat white coffee. I'd come again for coffee but I'll not eat here.

Nice place to rest and enjoy coffee! It's designed to cater tourists and has western style coffee options. The waiters seem to speak English but be aware they may not fully understand you. Also, they want you to pay in cash even though there's a CC sticker on the door. They'll take your card if you insist. The waiters don't look around to see if someone wants anything. I had to approach them and put my hand out so they would stop.

We had lunch here today. There were surprise charge 10% sales tax in addition to 12% service charge. We ordered pizza, soup, beef grill and drink. The ingredients was subpar compared to restaurant quality. The waitress was friendly but service was very slow and food was salty. They even confused with rice with vegetable as side dish.

It was nice to find this place close to our hotel. We enjoyed sitting outside in the small Laneway where you can watch local life passing by. The food was very tasty (we had spaghetti Bolognese and a mint drink)and we found the service to be efficient. I’d definitely go back. It’s standard for service and city tax to be applied (26%) so factor that in with your budget. Staff still appreciate a tip if warranted.

My friends and I walked past this restaurant hungry and decided to go in as we saw they served pasta. We proceeded to order, in which we waited 45 minutes for below average pasta which had little to no seasonings. When we received our meals we did not have any cutlery on our table at the time which we had to tell 3 employees and wait an additional 10 minute before we were able to actually eat our meals. Customer service was horrible, didn’t ask how our food was or offer more drinks. We also asked for the bill where an additional 30% tax was added, we asked to pay with eftpos and the female employee rolled her eyes and waited an additional 15 minutes for an employee to bring over an eftpos machine. As we arrived they also placed water bottles on our table which we thought was complementary as a lot of other restaurants we visited in the area provided it, and we payed a higher than average price for water bottles. Very very poor customer service and food. Would definitely not come back.
