Premium quality. I tried their signatures and they are more than perfect. You will be haunted by the relaxing atmosphere of this cozy place. I also admired the selection of the music they are playing. Very recommended as a work space.

Good espresso (despite the big quantity), good orange juice. Very nice, well-designed, beautiful place. Friendly staff. Normal prices. Clean bathrooms including soap and paper.

They have a unique selection of frappes which I’ve never seen anywhere. The quality of every single ingredient is chosen carefully , and it is very obvious from the first sip. I also liked the quality of their baked stuff. My best zone in Zamalek!

This place started out really well ! I had frequented it alot when I used to have training early morning in zamalek . I'd finish and go have a quick coffee and morning read before I hit the road, because it was always open so early in the kirning when every other place was still closed. It had been consistent in its quality daily for many months. Several months after when my training had finished I had revisited a few times and sadly everytime I was disappointed a little more, because it had totally changed and there was variance everytime . I hope that this would change and improve 🤞

One of the very few cafes in Zamalek open at 7am - & serving a really good espresso served in ceramic fingels, not single use cups. Just refurbished with quaint little marble topped Belgium cafe style tables - & a tiny terrace with potted plants. Has a toilet, too. It's a great cafe.

Great coffee, much larger than expected for my flat white (great value). Using illy coffee beans. The mint and lemon smoothie was so refreshing on a warm afternoon 👌 Clean, tidy cafe. The staff member spoke great English.

We arrived and placed our orders. Waited while folks who came after us were served similar food items we ordered. 30 mins after, we were told they are out of croissants. The last croissants were given to those served before us---THE OWNERS OF THE PLACE!

The Croissant is actually good, but never order Waffles, many options are not available and the waffles you order take over an hour to arrive at the table. In the meanwhile they don't even bring you the coffee you order.

I was exploring the backstreet neighborhood of Zemelek on a visit to Cairo. My feet were tired so I happened to stop into a little coffee shop for a rest. Immediately I was greeted by a friendly host who was sympathetic to my language barrier and he took the time to walk me to the counter and explain all the nice pastries and coffees on the menu, and then directed me to a table. I asked which item was the best, and he smiled and said "They're all good". My random selection proved his words to be true. I really enjoyed this quaint little spot, and I look forward to seeking Olsten's out again on my next trip to Cairo.
