Receptionist are friendly and always happy to help. Elevator not working, so guest would need to climb stairs which is quite tedious. Rooms need constant cleanup to avoid unpleasant smell. Atmosphere is conducive to a reasonable extent. And also, my room was upgraded at no extra cost.

Amazing place to spend time. A good event hall for seminars, weddings and all kinds of ceremonies. Good lighting and spacious rooms. Uses an elevator as well. Good food as well.

The rooms are really really outdated. Could be better. Water pressure from the shower is actually good. The furniture are outdated and the AC doesn't cool enough.

I first lodged in 2013. I have stayed there on two more occasions, It has remained generally clean. Some of the rooms fittings are falling apart and need replacement. The quality of dishes also needs to be improved on. The staff are courteous and helpful.

I have traveled and slept in a number of hotels, some I have reviewed, many I haven't. But this particular hotel in the heart of Calabar is one of the MOST DISAPPOINTING in recent years. When you first enter the premises, it feels like a very interesting place, but when you get into the room, your disappointment will grow like grass. There was no shower in my room, the WC wouldn't flush, and I practically had to beg the attendants to bring soap and towel. You can't determine the tv station you want to watch because there's only one person who regulates it and puts it in a particular place when he pleases. I could say it's the WORST hotel of this calibre that I've slept in. Even the AC struggled to work. There's serious (and urgent) need for y'all to fix up before you lose premium customers.

The environment is serene and quiet

Response rate from staff is average, sometimes mix up your orders so you have to be really patient. Aside that, great location, good rates and spacious rooms.

It's a cool place. Great customer service. Food is great too. However, there is need for little improvement in hygiene, which I believed it's as a result of shortage of staff due to the pandemic.

The place is good and hospitable

I visited the hall. There was a wedding reception happening at the mall. The hall is not too big. So if you plan a reception for about 300 to 400 people, it is very ideal. The decoration and setup is nice as well.
