This is the BEST diving company for new divers. Our instructor Marin was fantastic and very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained all of the ins and outs of the scuba equipment, including how to handle emergencies. We felt very confident in his instruction and guidance. But everything went, well... Swimmingly And we saw many beautiful undersea creatures and coral formations. Bring the $80 for the picture and video package, it is worth it a thousand times over and we ended up with some amazing shots of our adventure. The discover scuba package comes with two 45 minute dives and an hour and a half of theory and pool practice in order to familiarize yourself with the equipment. I highly recommend this for anyone who is visiting and is not scuba certified, Marin will explain everything and is very easy to understand as English is his second language .

Marin and Carolina were amazing hosts, making this 2 tank dive (Underwater Museo and Reef) a must for anyone to do! I was greeted by Carolina when I first arrived at the meeting spot. She clearly explained what we would be doing and made sure I understood the document release form. Once on the boat, Marin made sure in knew where everything was (since I brought my own gear). He also made sure I had tested everything and to let him know if there was anything I needed. During the dives, Marin was an excellent dive master, showing us all the ecology along the way. He was also taking video of everything! He took at great video of me with a giant seat turtle and shared it with me immediately after we docked -free of charge! Upon docking they offer to clean my equipment and Carolina offer some snacks as well In summary, I’d highly recommend booking your next dive with them. You will not be disappointed!!

Marin was an excellent guide. He was funny, knowledgeable, and a great instructor. He made our first diving experience an unforgettable one. Look no further for diving in the hotel zone.

Really great trip w/ Marin! They run a smooth operation and made everything easy. I like supporting the smaller shops over the larger ones, as you get a more personal experience. Will definitely dive with them again.

TLDR: just come here and do scuba diving. You will feel safe and accomplished. Our instructor Marin is the best. The course before the actual diving is very detailed. He explain carefully and checked we understand everything. We took ~ an hour to practice at the pool to get used to all the techniques. He calmed us down before going down to the water. Down there he constantly checking if we are okay to ensure our safety. We made some mistakes but Marin helped us get through them. In the end we were able to finish both of the spots. We bought the photo package and Marin also helped us taking some awesome photos. 100% legit place for scuba diving beginners. Definitely recommend you coming over.

I really recommend this experience. What made this experience an unforgetable one is the staff and our fantastic diving coach. One of the best experiences we had!

We were a group of 4 who wanted to try scuba diving for the first time and our experience was amazing with lorena. Being a non swimmer and nervous, we were well taken care of and once we were underwater we just forgot about our fears because it was just so beautiful. We saw the museum and the reefs and it was an amazing experience. Will definitely be booking with them on our next visit to Cancun.

I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience during my Basic Open Water Certification. Carolina and Marin (Timoteo) welcomed me promptly at 8:00 A.M. by the pool. They had all my gear ready and waiting. Marin is an excellent instructor. I loved his no frills, to the point, safety oriented style mixed in with his awesome sense of humor. During all 4 of my open water dives I felt comfortable and safe. Marin routinely checked on me to make sure I was ok as I trailed right behind him like a duckling following it's mother. Any questions I had before or after training/dives were immediately addressed. Can't wait for my next trip down to see the dynamic duo at A'HA" Scuba!!!
