My first time here and I was really impressed to the decor but most mainly to staff who are very friendly, attentive, happy and excellent service. My friends 60th birthday was done so nicely from decor, food, drinks. The ambience and lighting and sounds are perfect. We all had a blast celebrating a special lady. Thank you Club Southside, you will see us again. ❤️

Looks fancy from the outside, looks fancy from the inside. Both cocktail & beer was delicious, so was the food except for the fact that I ordered 4 steaks which took over 30 minutes to arrive which came as the wrong order. We took the wrong order as it is but 3 of the steak was actually served cold. While it's my first bad experience here, but this is just completely unacceptable.

One of our favourite place for food. The food are great with nice plating. Their staff provide great services as well. The interiors is beautiful and something there are live piano.

The food is average for a club. A bit pricey both members and non members. Very strict with regards to dress code make sure your shoes are on you at all times including when you are relax and seated...I was told off by new security at 11pm while seated and chatting with my sister...I am 60 years old and occasionly my foot swells up especially wearing closeup shoes during winter....told the guard my reasons but he has no sympathy ..he said You are breaching the dress code!!😅

It was a very busy night when we visited so understandingly we had a bit of a wait for our food to arrive after ordering. Good news was that the staff was up front with us and told us there were delays in the kitchen so it was no suprise to us. When the food arrived it was so delicious I wanted to link the plate clean. The venue was clean and tidy and staff friendly and nice. Would I return, definitely.

Had a meal with partner. Garlic bread was great . 3 big slices . I had Thai Duck Red Curry . Good tasty meal . Naan bread was hard like a biscuit . But when we ordered meal from the “Cafe bar”, the meal’s quality definitely lower than the club’s meal, of course the price were different. Friday night special “ Chicken wing $1/each”, the wings were very dry and hard, over cooked and not much meat inside, you will not want spent 50c or $1 on it. The “Ramen” is not Japanese style Ramen, the soup was salt and tomato flavour water, egg noodle, sliced chicken breast, baby spinach, etc. I felt very disappointed with this dish, not tasty and not professional at all, not worth its price. The another things in the club were very good, I always have good experiences here, today’s experience with cafe bar food were disappointed, I will not try again or recommend anyone else.

Take away our rights and freedom you'll only be getting one star from me. As a business you should be the voice of the people, allowing All to enter without prejudice. I'm disgusted by your email and will never enter your club again.

Very nice premises with a very modern and elegant fit-out. All staff, reception, bar, meals, were friendly and welcoming. Meals were well presented and quite delicious, as well as being keenly priced. I became a member, $5 for about 25 years, as I will definitely be returning whenever I get the opportunity.

Excellent service, Produce is a touch lacking, but the chefs are brilliant. Never had a poorly cooked meal. Drinks are cheap, be sure to get a membership, the initial cost is worth every penny.

Venue is impressive, big and spacious. Covid restrictions, distancing in place. Staff is helpful. Roast was disappointing. Potato barely cooked and bread roll. Presentation is not the best. Schnitzel was ok, so is the curry.

Love the Southside. Go there regularly for a good old feed. Have to say, on busy nights, the wait for food can be anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. Other than that, great food, love it! I recommend the Works Burger. It's not on the main menu, go to the Cafe and ask for their menu.

A star for the comfortable seating and another for the staff. As for the restaurant, its expensive for what you get! Ordered a seafood twin tower for $89! Only to get a bland surimi salad in a bowl, a few aldi looking calamaris and prawn twisters, chips, big shells with small scallops, stale looking prawns and oysters! Seafood curry was more like seafood chowder soup. Super Salty! Definitely not worth it!

Amazing club with a great atmosphere. The recent renovations make the place look very spacious. Anna at the café was fantastic to be served by and made a delicious hot chocolate. She really made sure I was looked after and provided great service, reflecting very well on the club.

I ordered the mixed grill and it came out burnt... Why would you send out burnt prawns and the lamb cutlets looked like they where deep fried...

I have been trying come in different days and having my meal here. It’s a great place for me to catch up with friends. Nice atmosphere and friendly staffs. I feel relaxing to sit and drink here

Have come here for my fathers birthday and ordered entrees and pizza had mould on it and spring rolls were exploded and burnt. Received money back but that is not acceptable . There must be no quality control and the manager must be held responsible for this pathetic error. Shame on you!

We had a function here and I really enjoyed their platter options. Such a big club with lots of areas to sit and enjoy yourselves

Celebrating the end of lockdown with the Seafood tower and mixed grill. Such a lovely place for lunch, the staff are incredibly helpful and look genuinely happy to be here. Check out the toilets.. they are a bit of a trip.

Club southside a good venue and atmosphere overall. I had the fish 'n' chips battered, but unfortunately it was dry and over cooked. The outdoor smoking area is a problem because the 2 automatic doors that is supposed to isolate any smoke from coming inside is a failure. The door from the smoking area does not close before the door opens into the venue so the smell of cigarette smoke wafts in where you sit to eat. It's probably an easy fix to simply adjust the auto door timings?

Terrible food, great bingo. The bingo hall is large and the staff are fantastic. It’s a nice establishment for visual presentation however, the food is lack lustre and at times indelible (specifically the eggplant dish and the banana fritters - was pretty much mostly coconut/count cream which wasn’t listed anywhere on the dessert description). I’ve dined here three times and haven’t had good food from the restaurant. I haven’t tried to cafe food yet. I return for the bingo hall and hope the food improves..

Club Southside is a great setup with good food and a large number of gaming machines. Good vibe alround. The food service was wanting with the front staff member not sure how to manage our online booking. She became flustered and was not sure how to remedy this. Our table was not clean, and we had to request it to be wiped again. We expected not to find a free table, but I was surprised to find half the restaurant empty. I feel improvements to the food service and cleanliness would improve this.

Food was good. Good prices particularly if you join, which is cheap and lifetime anyway. Karage salad was healthy, came out quick. They even have sarsaparilla.

The place was beautifully refurbished and the staff is very efficient and lovely. Unfortunately, the food was a big disappointment all round. I'd recommend this place for drinks. The different bars and restaurants are the perfect space for social gatherings and events. The parking entrance i came through was a little hidden and i had to drive around to find it. Once inside, the car park was enormous and easy to navigate. I hope they improve on the meal quality, they got everything else going great.

The actual club is nice. Nice lighting and atmosphere etc. They also have a lot of options for food and have a nice menu ALTHOUGH I’ve eaten here twice and both times the food has been extremely bland and under-seasoned (both mine and my partner’s dishes so I’ve tasted 4 of their dishes - all bland, especially their pasta dishes). It’s an easy fix but not sure how the chefs are unaware of this issue as they should be tasting their food, especially when they’ve gone through all the effort of making the club look so nice. They do have a good deal on memberships and staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the food is letting them down at this point.

Great atmosphere! I couldn't fault the restaurant and the food quality is right on point. Perfect location for a few drinks with some friends. The gaming room has a huge variety of machines as well.

Value for money. Food wasn't the best but good value for money!

We Order 4 dishes steak when bring out all of them are cold, we tried eat some then talked to staff and got no reply, go to food reception and got answers because We already eat some, even the dish we bring back only one tiny cut to taste it. You are big club please look after your customer, I’m regular customer there the front reception and the gaming room staff are friendly.

Wednesdays skewer special. I think they should update the displayed pictures. The kids steak is cheaper and at least comes with salad 😂 (I'd started eating it before thinking I should review).

We go for family dinner quite often. Great service, love the $15 steak. Drinks are really good prices. I'd recommend. Worth booking if you intend to dine.

A typical sports club atmosphere, nicely furnished and plentiful seating. A range of food options from snacks through to substantial meals all reasonably priced. Bar prices are also fair. Friday lunchtime very busy, so a small wait for meals and they weren't quite as hot as expected. Overall, it was a good place for a casual affordable lunch.

We appreciate the kindness Club Southside has toward us to make Easter Saturday special. They went beyond hospitality, and we felt like a welcomed family member. Words can not say what we felt. Thank you.

Nice, relaxed, and easy-going place to share a meal, do a trivia night, play bingo, or meet up with friends for board games. The staff are really great at what they do, and the kitchen pumps out meals in no time. Great selection of food, of course!

Today, I had the worst meal ever. The Falafel was so dry, like being cooked days ago , the salad was old and not fresh at all. Also, about the sweet chips over cooked and burned. Yucky 🤮.

Nice venue and atmosphere. Serving portions in the restaurant are good, and steaks were cooked as requested, however, some of the side dishes could have been better. Mash potato was packet/powdered mash, and the green beans tasted like they were frozen beans that had been microwaved. The pork belly didn't have crispy crackling which was a let down, but the dish itself was tasty. Kids meals were also a good portion (big kid size).

They only know how to cook the steak properly! Roast pork was as tough as my belt, Lamb backstroke wasn't eatable even the staff member said 'this is a common complaint about the lamb being over cooked. The salmon linguini was tasteless needed salt and maybe some garlic. Beers were cold and food was reasonably priced, however they just need to learn how to cook it properly.

Club southside has a great staff and very friendly atmosphere. The food is decent price for the quality you get and the drinks to me seen a little expensive, but it seems worth it when you take into account the people and atmosphere that is created in the Modern decor they have set out. In all my only complaints are the drinks seem to be 15% above what others charge and the food menu could be seen as a little small, but in that regard what they do in food is excellent more so if you choose to stay away from the specials menu. Be warned this review is based on just experiencing the sit down restaurant and not the cafe, I plan to go back so I can test the other side out.

A good local club. Often pop in for lunch or dinner. Very busy at times, especially when Bingo is on, but the staff cope well & always greet us in a friendly fashion. Recommended.

I have to eat gluten free & they went & rechecked that the meal was for me - with a smile. Very good service & different areas to sit & have coffee or dine in.
