We walked our dogs around The Common and then popped in to this small coffee shop/ deli. They are pet friendly - seating outside on the pavement (car park area) with views of Table Mountain. We had the custard danish pastry -very delicious , and a koesister. I tried their chicken pie - they warned it up and the pastry was crispy with generous chicken filling. Good cuppacino and friendly staff. Definitely worth the pop in.

Absolutely gorgeous spot, a Parisian vibe , very picturesque. Friendly helpful staff. The most decadent patisserie I’ve tasted in South Africa! The toasted cheese and tomato croissant is an absolute must have for something savoury(ask them to please toast it for you ) For sweet the cream filled cronut superbly delicious and the almond Caramel cheesecake. Truly lovely coffee. A real gem in Cape Town . And Halaal ! A new favourite. Came 2 days in a row and I would every day if i lived in Ct.

Came across a great small coffee shop, The Barn. I enjoyed it there, the coffee and cake. It has a vintage look and feel when you step inside. It's great for picture as you will see when browsing mine. The chocolate cake one was good but I didn't expect the flavors I got from the other cake, look at the pictures and you will see which one I am talking about. To be honest it didn't look like much but when I took my fork to my mouth it was all worth it. Go and try them, it's a great place to just go and hook up with a friend or sit and talk, drink a coffee with your family and friends. The waitress was so friendly, see evens allowed me to take a picture of her, also in my fotos. A good recommendation.

Caffè lattes at The Barn I was in search of a coffee place when I noticed the hype surrounding The Barn. When I entered the café, I immediately caught a glimpse of tons of bees flocking around the food. This is when I knew - this place was magical. I ordered two lattes - one for me and another for my date. The latte was dressed with a light sprinkle of sugar and cocoa on top. It certainly suited my impeccable taste. I will be back. My daughter and I popped in here for rhe first time 2 weeks ago. They are a tiny shop but so so veri busy. Their cakes are devine. Your tastebuds go wild just looking at them. They have these Nutella filled donuts for 20.00 and assorted cakes and coffee and wors rolls and wraps etc. I bought a wrap and my daughter had a juice and wors roll

Lovely small coffee shop and bakery situated a short walk from the Rondebosch Common. Great place to get breakfast after a morning parkrun. Their hot chocolate has a rich flavour and was prepared quickly by friendly staff. Breakfast sandwiches, fresh orange juice and muffins amongst other baked goods are also sold here.

Waitron Cynthia is a fabulous asset to this artisan bakery and she made today’s visit absolutely perfect! Loved the breeze, view of Table Mountain and of course the eats.

Today I made my way to this bakery. Seen it a few times on tik tok so whh not? The ladies are so jolly, they all seem to get on like a house on fire. The decor is simple yet stylish. I swear if I didn't live in the northern suburbs this would be my daily spot.. Superb must try!!

Quirky cafe that's a steampunk world of pipes and old metal, with gourmet, home-roasted coffee.

👍👍 Honestly I love this place. I come here often by myself and with my husband. The staff are lovely. The food is delicious and the aesthetic is super pretty. They also have a little makeshift store inside. I usually get the Eggs. Be. Licious but I’ve had the yogurt bowl and some other items from the f...

🫤 “DO YOU HAVE A RESERVATION?” Strange way to welcome people to a half-full restaurant. When I didn’t respond to the “joke”, I was told “well, you’re OBVIOUSLY NOT A LOCAL, ARE YOU?”. I live within walking distance but it’s this kind of service that puts people (locals and tourists) off restaurants....

👍 My favourite coffee is Americano, and the one served at this place is exceptionally delicious. Additionally, the cafe offers a diverse range of croissants. I had the opportunity to try the almond croissant, and while the bread itself was amazing, I must admit that I'm not particularly fond of almond...

👍 One of Cape Town's best breakfast spots. The tranquil serenity under the massive trees, makes Gardener's Cottage virtually unique in the city. Yes, we saw a squirrel. Expect top grub, personable staff, and a damn decent cup of coffee. I can recommend the veggie breakfast as a real treat.
