Crockery is never washed properly. Have to wash it before cooking or using it. Some towels have seen their days. There is always noise from fixing stuff. The first three days there things broken ,the kitchen tap leaking, the toilet leaking, the one window couldn't close.

Visited the La Vita Spa. Stella is the best therapist, enjoyed my treatment. The therapy room itself is bit small, but the treatment made up for it.

Our favorite holiday stay in CT. Absolute gem of a location, cross the road and you are on the CT promenade. 3kms from V&A Waterfront, and am easy 5km walk to Camp Bay, and everything in between. Clicks, Pic'Pay, Checkers, Woolworths and manyvothe shops all one or two block away. Lots of dining venues as well. Great coffee shop and Bistro on the premises. And a Spa. Nothing pretentious, but lovely accommodation, and friendly staff. Our go-to holiday accommation in CT.

Room looks amazing, water pressure should be reviewed in the sink as it was really hard to brush teeth or fill the kettle. Very good stay

Currently staying at this place and hating it. The service is appalling! Ben is the guys name, I tried discussing the electricity issue in our room with him, and he just ignored our requests, told him we unhappy and his response is "ok". Our room has issues with the TV, plates, basin and iron! All in a space of 3 days. The service can be way better! I'm very dissappointed

I absolutely loved my stay with Riviera, the staff was fantastic and friendly, my room was clean and taken care of by my assigned house keeper for my entire stay. There is a La Vita Spa on the premises with a jacuzzi, a sauna and a heated pool, the massage was wonderful and the therapist went over and beyond. The view from my room onto the beach and Seapoint pavilion made sunset much more marvelous and not too forget about the coffee from jooma , the Barista's and waiters are fabulous. I will definitely becoming back soon. Riviera is now my favourite place to be at!

It's a lovely place. The rooms are very modern, like an apartment away from your apartment. Simple style but absolutely beautiful. There's more variety in terms of the stuff you can watch, that was quite nice. The only problem i had was the fact that they don't have air conditioners. I went on a very cold week so that was really a bummer. But with the water scorching hot, that problem was solvable. Cute small restaurant vibe downstairs. You could look directly into the ocean, that was super cool. My overall opinion would be that it's a peaceful place ,that is what i got from my week there.

Oh l really want to thank Ms Lauren Isaacs for being helpful, she really went out her way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Your help is appreciated. I also want to thank the Mr Xolani Mathe helping us with our bags on arrival and departure , he made sure that our balcony was clean. These 2 mentioned made our stay spectacular. Thank you Riviera Suites, we definitely visiting you again ❤️💕❤️💕❤️

Awesome stay. Rooms are very neat and clean. All your requirements are met. Sufficient for self catering. Love the Jooma coffee shop as well as a great wine selection and delightful La Vita spa!

the view from the room was excellent, the rooms were cleaned to perfection every day, and the staff are really friendly, especially the African lady during the night shift, I forgot her name, but she was just a breath of fresh air always full of smiles and super friendly and helpful. The only problem is the parking, we reserved parking and many times people were parking in our reserved parking spot, I think cones should be put in the spots to avoid this issue as it happened way too many times. The pool is very narrow and very deep and hot I would say it is more of a jacuzzi. Besides that everything else was wonderful, I hope to visit again soon.

We stayed at the Riviera Suites for 8 nights and our experience was pleasant. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. The facilities are in good condition and they are always clean (very important to me). The location is great because it is right in the area where you can find many cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. Plus it is right in front of the ocean so you can go out and exercise in the nice running track or just walk and enjoy the view.

The furniture was so dirty you needed to put a towel down before you sat on it. Master bathroom covered in mold. Giant hole behind master bathroom toilet. A freeway for the mice. Complained covered hole with masking tape. No cable television. No generator. Spa receptionist one of the most rudest persons I've ever met in life. This place is old being held together by duct tape don't be fooled by the pictures.

There's parking for 6 cars, when we parked in a bay that didn't have a name on we were told it was in fact reserved. When we asked when a bay would be available we were told they not sure. Surely you know when guests who have reserved the parking are leaving? We had to park across the road away from the hotel. When we got to our room, there was half a bottle of water still in the fridge from the previous guests, that wasn't removed. Ice trays were half empty. The bath which serves as the shower as had stains in the bath. So no chance of us wanting to take a bath as it just looks dirty. The coffee sachets provided were also not full, only 3 sachets. In the other room there was 6. The TV, there are 20 channels all of which consist of only SABC 1,2,3 ETV and 1 sport channel. You'd expect the TV to atleast be a smart TV which can accommodate the likes of Netflix or DSTV. Loadshedding kicked in, and there are no rechargeable lights or flash lights available. Room is pitch dark. Wifi also stopped working due to loadshedding A heads up, the pool is indoor and heated, so don't expect to cool off in the pool on a hot summer day. The coffee shop took over an hour for 2 coffees and 2 croissants to be sent to the room. Not sure what daily entertainment they talk about, as we missed the days outing to the spice route as it wasn't communicated to us, and it would have only been availabe to us if we were 4 people, and when asked what else was happening the week it was said we can catch the red bus and that's about it. Apart from that, the bed was very comfy, the suite was neat and tidy except for the bath. We booked in Monday, and are leaving on Friday. Review done on Tuesday.

I have never felt so unwelcome. Rooms aren't clean, bathroom feels gross, service is beyond shocking and slow, false advertising, no parking , do not accommodate in loadshedding, yes you sit in the dark lol , no bowels in our room only plates , no bathroom mats , we have phoned the spa twice. And gone down to book and we still waiting for confirmation. Clearly our business isn't needed, do yourself a favor , GO ELSEWHERE if you eat to enjoy yourself.

Spent 1 week in the 2 bedroom self catering unit with sea view. The units are clean and the staff reasonable helpful. The bath/shower requires upgrading. The taps are old and leaks. The kitchen cupboards need to be replaced. The biggest problem is parking. If you don't book then be prepared to park on the roadside or in public parking across the road. Location is ideal - directly across from the beach.

The accommodation is based in a nice quiet area but right on the main road near the beach the breeze reaches you from a distance a great area to do your morning jogs most shops are located nearby like restaurants

I found the area terribly noisy. The accomodation needs an upgrade. Saucepan lids broken and small things not well tended to but no request was unmet and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Thank you to all who made my stay really pleasant.

It is false advertising to state 210 minutes but the massage literally was less than 60 minutes. You allow customers to book for a late schedule yet the staff are not prepared to stay and service the clients accordingly, instead they are rushing. Regarding food, nobody asked which drinks we prefer - we don't even drink coke but it was ordered for us. Therefore, service was a complete ZERO, worse experience!

THis hotel must have change since COVID. I placed a reservation and paid for a caution of 6000rands where, as said by the hotel, 1000 were non refundable. it was mid march 2022, As they did not have the room I asked for for all the stay (5 nights in AUgust) I canceled. THEY NEVER REIMBURSE THE CAUTION and they DONT ANSWER TO MAIL OR BY PHONE SAY THEY CALL BACK AND NEVER DO. they have very poor customer services and are not respectfull to customer ! HOTEL TO AVOID !!!!

NO PARKING... - that's a deal-breaker for me... will not be returning... I'm a cancer patient with a sore leg. had to park 3 blocks away... accommodation was a gift... had I known about the parking issue I would have booked at another hotel... staff was amazing.

Ideal location. Just across the road from the beach. In the Sea Point hub. Fantastic staff. Well managed. Multi-Skilled staff, it was fantastic to see the porter transform to the maintenance guy the following day. Location made it easy driving to the various points of interest around Cape Town. As a warning, visitors must please adhere to speed limits due to all the automated speed cameras around Sea Point and Cape Town.

Beautiful and central area in Cape Town. Personnel very friendly and efficient. Feels like home from home. Great little restaurant in groundfloor.

My husband and I went for a couples massage starting at 12:00 noon and we arrived there at 12:00 sharp and we were attended for signing in thereafter some time from our session was taken while they were preparing the room after the previous session, which lead to our session being 34 minutes. The massage was rushed and we didn’t enjoy, my husband said he didn’t feel like he was from the spa, that’s how bad it was! The jacuzzi was a bit better and relaxing.

Spacious self catering apartment with a gorgeous sea view even though it's on the side of the building. We were really pleasantly surprised. Fully equipped with all appliances, and even a Nespresso machine. TV had netflix on it. Balcony was perfect for watching the sunset. Location is perfect for a stroll on the promenade or walk up Main road to find a lunch restaurant. We did a couple massage at the spa. And they also have a hot tub, sauna & heated swimming pool. Black out curtains were a great touch. We loved our stay. We'd definitely book again.
