We are staying 9 nights at Esperanza Guest House next October/November. Mark has been wonderful helping us with our reservations. We can't wait to visit this beautiful historic property.

Thank you so much Mark and the ladies at Esperanza Guest House. Warm welcome, so friendly, and absolutely lovely people. Each day was just amazing, enjoyed the breakfast, a view of the Table Mountain, close by places of interest, definitely making a come back to the peaceful guest house

Definitely home away from home! We love the make yourself at home feeling! The crisp linen and comfortable beds. The spacious room and bathroom. The old world charm makes it a cosy experience. Mark and staff are professional and treat you as such. Always a friendly face and ready to help. A hearty breakfast to start your day. Beautiful views of the Mountains and the City lights. Near all amenities and reliable Uber so quick at your doorstep to take you where you want to be. We could relax with a cuppa coffee or tea on the stoep and watch the world go by! Will definitely recommend a stay at Esperanza guesthouse for sure!

We visited South Africa for our honeymoon. The guest house is located in a quiet and very safe neighborhood with great view. There is public transportation after 5 minutes walking when the city center is 15 minutes by foot. Clean rooms and delicious breakfast.

The building is 150 years old. This which definetly shows, but not in a bad way (it's beautiful!) other than the floor being a little bit loud when walking. Other than that, the host is really friendly, there's breakfast included everyday from 7 to 10. We're having a very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend staying.

A beautifully restored victorian house, with the most amazing staff accompanied with a delicious traditional South African breakfast. The room was always clean and tidy when I came back from the days travel and the utilities (I.e. Wi-Fi) were always relaible and working.
