The "superior" rooms feels dated and the internet is terrible slow. We were placed on the 15th floor and had a terrible view to their air-conditioning. On top of that there was no water on the room and the "king size" bed was so single beds next to each other and they kept moving apart from each other. The gym was also a joke and totally unusable. I'm glad it was only for 2 nights and I'll definitely never come back to this "4 star" hotel again. I'm sure you'll be able to find 3 star hotels that are better for the same price as you pay for the strand tower hotel.

I had a really good experience here for 2 nights after arriving from the US. The breakfast was amazing and worth the cost, although it might be included with the cost of your room. The pool is wonderful. The steam room and sauna are so relaxing (just notify them that you want to use the steam room or sauna first so they deliver towels). Also, they have two computers with pretty fast internet in the lobby. One downside is that it is a very large hotel with lots of tour buses arriving and departing, but that did not negatively impact our stay. Also, if your neighbors are noisy, you might hear them -and- stay on a lower floor so you can take the stairs to avoid waiting for the elevator. Tip: On check-out day you may leave your luggage at the front desk and then come back to the spa/sauna to take a shower. This was a really great bonus of staying here and great if you have a late flight our or a late check-in at your next accommodation.

Discreet and friendly. A lovely parking ramp inside the tower, good service, comfortable rooms. Nice bar and a few good places to eat. Excellent location at the bottom of Long Street...where you can explore the myriad bars and eateries and shops. Clean and quiet value for money.

The food was good. The service was also on top. The rooms were clean. Located on Strand street, right in the CBD. Great if you plan on exploring the city, during the day or even in the evenings.

Centrally located, hotel works for tourists and business travellers alike. Service is amazing. State of the art conference facilities. Great selection of food and drink. A drink by the pool area is a great idea.

Was here for a work conference. The rooms are clean and comfy. It’s a good place to stay at. They organize halal upon request. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner and even snacks too. The conference facilities are also very good. It’s a good hotel and there is parking too. So I would recommend it. 👍🏽

Had to change room because air con. did not work properly but apart from that it's been good so far. We're only b&b but the breakfast is good. Nice piano music as well.

Lovely hotel on CPT's Strand street. It's really close to the V&A waterfront, long street, signal hill and other attraction. The staff are competent and friendly. They male you feel safe, at easy and welcomed. The food was decadent and a wide spread of choice was available. Just a heads up, the drinks are quite costly and you may want to stick to the juices and water.

Was good. The Steam room didn't work though but good service. Enjoy the food and friendly Chefs and staff members. Nothing really stood out for me, just felt like your average hotel services.

The hotel is well placed to make full use of the hop on / hop off tourist buses which take you to the Table Mountain cable car station and the Waterfront area. The staff are friendly and helpful although the hotel itself is becoming a little dated.

Very nice hotel, right in the middle of Cape Town. The city tour busses start right around the corner which is very convenient! The staff is very nice and helpful. We really liked the massages. The live piano music at breakfast is very special. The sauna, fitness and spa are located at some unusual locations which can be quite a puzzle to find. Also the swimming pool is located right next to the restaurant which is quite unusual. The breakfast is very nice and there is a lot to chose from. Overall a very nice hotel!

Really nice place, just not a lot of parking or maybe there is but it wasn’t clear as to where it is. There are off street parking all over town if you don’t mind parking on the street otherwise all good.
