Great staff. Nice seating. Only thing that I noticed is the lack of dark beers selection. Only Guinness. I would love to see more stout or dark ales.

Came in for work drinks on a Monday and Jackson behind the bar was awesome. His knowledge of cocktails and alcohol in general were far above any I've seen from a bartender in Brisbane. I'll definitely be returning and if you haven't been here before definitely give a go cause is awesome. Had to edit this review cause just had the food and it's absolutely fantastic. It's exactly what it needed to be and tasted delicious while being the best bar food in Brisbane. Once again highly recommend this place.

This quirky bar is guaranteed to have some of the best craft beer in the world on tap at any given time! Love coming here with friends or simply for a beer by myself. Check out the great lunch specials and cool events like meet the brewer! Staff are always friendly and I love that my bus stop just out the front!

Great place to drink with a broad selection of craft beer, both local and imported. This includes some limited edition stuff. Unfortunately the food is thoroughly average to the the point of being below par. Of the 5 taco flavours I tried 4. All 3 meat flavours are bland and dry, however the "hillbilly chilli" vegan taco is delicious. The loaded fries ARE A SOUP. They come in a thin gravy, in a bowl, so every single chip is soggy and gross. To their credit the staff swapped them for regular chips, but that meant I lost $5, the difference in price between chips and loaded fries. So if I could offer a suggestion to everyone, eat at Yardbird across the road, drink at Bloodhound. Simples.

I have been here a few times and always really enjoy the food! They do great student deals or week day deals that you can take advantage of. Their serving sizes are extremely generous and I find the quality to be great.

Their To kill a mockingbird chicken burger is an amazing burger. So many different flavours. Sweet tangy pickled vegetables make it almost like a Mexican treat. Addictive! You can't stop at just one! Amazing selection of craft beers.

Good spot for a bevy after work or a lunch with mates. Staff are always friendly and they have a great rotating tap list. A staple on Brunswick street

The BEST BAR IN BRISBANE! Bloodhound Bar is just as amazing for after-work drinks, a catch-up, a night out and party functions! Had my 40th there recently and it was the best! Great staff, great food and great beer! 🌮🍻

Stumbled upon this place during my visit in Brisbane. People at the bar are friendly. They even recommended to try their tacos and gangsta glam cocktail. It was a nice experience for a solo first timer. Kudos to Immy and Marina for treating me like a regular customer. 👍

Absolutely loved this little corner bar. Popped in for a cold drink and we were warmly greeted by Red behind the bar who gave us beer tasters to help us choose from the amazing selection of craft beers and more. Red is so good at her job and made us feel at home. We will definitely be back. This is our kinda bar.

First time visiting the Bloodhound bar today for a Brewsvegas event. Rock the brunch with Boatrocker brewery. Really good event, it was well run by the staff who served us all the various drinks and pastries. Great range of craft beers on tap and plenty of spirits as well. I'll definitely return if I am in the area as the food menu looks pretty good as well.

Great craft beer and atmosphere. Love the Santa IPA. Foods are great overall but my cheese burger was lacking flavours and seasoning. Also, we were a group of 10+ people sitting across two tables. Foods came out from the kitchen 15 mins apart between tables. Some had already finished with their foods and we got nothing to eat. Seemed like the kitchen couldn’t handle the orders.

Fantastic selection of beers and cocktails. The wings, burgers, and jalapeño poppers are delicious. The atmosphere is quite relaxed and there’s some games like Jenga to keep you occupied while you chat with your friends.

Full disclosure: Bloodhound is my local. I am deeply fond of their menu and their house gin. I recently hosted an event upstairs in the Sapphire Lounge and cannot overstate what a great experience it was. Staff were super easy to deal with during all stages of the event - great communication, very flexible and accomodating. Service was impeccable and friendly. Guests loved the music, atmosphere, bar staff, food and drinks. Would be very happy to do it all over again in the near future.

👀 This bar was recommended by a local friend. They serve up an ever-changing selection of local, national, and international craft beers across 10 taps. They also have so many chilli bottles to choose from to eat your wings with. 💥 It’s quite a small bar downstairs, on a corner block. Very cozy, a lot of exposed brick and wax dripped candles in a fireplace. They have giant graffiti artwork of pheasants behind the bar and targets on the bar to keep with the whole bloodhound theme. 💁🏼‍♀️ Order at the bar style service. 🍷 So many options for drinks, full bar, but most people have the tap beers as they are the hero. We ate some wings, brisket fries and spring rolls. I think they have changed the menu by now, the naan pizzas look cool! ✨ Definitely worth a stop on a Valley bar crawl night.

Wow. What a awesome cozy hole to slide up to a cutie and wet your gullet! Inviting ambience, welcoming staff. Interesting tap selection. Chicken curry fries were crispy and spiced well. Mushroom Jalepeno taco was addictive And beautifully spicy. Both beef tacos were far too salty (and I like salty). All in all I'll be back!

I came across this place while doing a search for a venue to have my son’s 21st birthday party and I’m so glad I did. What a great place, we had the upstairs area with our own bar Kevin was fantastic as were the rest of the staff, food was sooo tasty and came out regularly. Everyone has a great time and not far for them to continue to the nightclubs. Loved it

Each time we have been, the same guy is behind the bar and he's awesome. Friendly and helpful, really knows his stuff and makes your stay relaxed and fun. We think he's great and makes the place!

Good range of interesting cocktails available - so we may have to be back. Have been here years ago and used to pump - but quieter mid week. If you need to park mid week the street is fine - if not there’s a small shopping centre across the road.

What appears to be a solid venue with a good range of drinks is let down by poor roster planning by the managers here. Only two bartenders on the bar on a Saturday evening. The poor duo were left to serve an endless stream of patrons, leading to long wait times on our drinks, requiring a second trip to the bar before they arrived. The drinks, whilst expensive, were great - we just wished we didn't have to wait so long for them.

Top place for a quick bite and a drink with friends. Definitely not Michelin Star cooking, but there's also no high prices as well. Fun place to go to and have a great time with friends. Their daily specials are a treat!

For a small corner bar, they have the absolute best service and hospitality. I walked in, and Jackson immediately greeted me at the door with energy that shouldn't exist at that time of night. I found & dropped into this little gem one mid week day. Imogen greeted me with an attentive smile 😀 & showed me around the inviting bar / kitchen, including a run through of the menu/ specials. Hoping to brighten my Friday night, I opted to return to Bloodhound, being greeted by Jack, the manager, who was friendly & welcoming. Highly recommend this great little corner venue, the rustic brickwork & hanging plants, combined with great service, food & drinks make it an awesome spot for post work relaxation & catch ups... I love this place. I love interesting beers. They always have a great and eclectic collection of craft beers. The food is also good, nothing special but good pub food. The staff are friendly every time and the atmosphere is great.

The place has a really old school vibe with the old building and brick walls. I ordered butter chicken nachos and 12 wings (6smokey bbq and 6 buffalo) and they were amazing!! The butter chicken nachos could have had a bigger amount of chicken but it was really yummy. The service was excellent and the food came out really fast! There was card games to play while waiting for food etc, I’ll definitely be coming back! Really cheap feed too :)

The bar staff are amazingly friendly and the food here is fantastic and quite reasonably priced. While it appears small from the outside but plenty more room in the back. Definately a new favorite.
