My
wife
and
I
went
here
for
dinner
and
the
DJ
entertainment.
We
arrived
about
9:30pm
to
eat
and
we
were
told
there
was
a
170,000
peso
per
person
cover
charge
for
the
entertainment
--
which
started
at
11pm.
I
asked
to
pay
this
cover
charge
before
we
ate
in
order
to
reserve
a
front
row
table
for
the
entertainment
but
I
was
told
that
the
entertainment
was
a
different
department
at
Tulum
and
that
credit
card
machine
was
not
there
but
would
be
there
"later"
--
and
it
was
fine
to
wait
until
then
to
pay
the
cover
fee
by
credit
card.
When
we
finished
eating
and
went
to
the
entertainment
area
at
11pm,
they
said
the
credit
card
machine
had
still
not
arrived
and
asked
me
to
pay
in
cash.
I
told
them
(again)
that
I
had
no
cash
and
they
said
that
was
"OK"
and
that
the
credit
card
machine
would
be
there
"in
20
minutes"
(about
11:20pm)
--
and
they
let
us
go
to
the
front
row
table
we
had
reserved
by
the
DJ
and
start
dancing.
About
midnight
one
of
the
employees
told
us
to
go
to
the
cashier
to
pay
--
but
when
I
tried
to
do
that,
the
cashier
said
the
credit
card
machine
was
still
not
there.
We
go
back
to
dancing
until
12:30pm
when
another
employee
tells
us
that
"we
must
leave
unless
we
pay
in
cash".
Note
that
we
were
even
paying
for
our
drinks
in
the
entertainment
area
by
credit
card
since
that
was
part
of
their
"restaurant".
For
my
wife
and
I
to
be
harassed
because
of
an
internal
accounting
issue
at
Tulum
that
required
them
to
use
a
specific
credit
card
machine
and
for
this
machine
to
not
be
there
for
people
who
wanted
to
pay
their
very
large
cover
charge
by
credit
card
is
of
course
ridiculous!
The
bottom
line
is
that
we
had
good
food
and
good
entertainment
but
the
management
was
horrible!
