Very nice place, breakfast was amazing. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. Quite loud at night but it seems very common in the area.

Very clean hotel we stayed in a suite that was very nice size. Breakfast daily was very good and cooked to order. Rooftop pool was a good spot to cool off. They say they have a lounge but its only a cooler with some beers in the breakfast area. Also, the mini bar in room is also just beer, waters, etc no liquor.

The hotel was overall quite good. The rooms are small but clean and cute. The rooftop with pool is just okay - needs some updating and the pool water was hotter than the air so not super useful. Service was excellent at the front desk. Breakfast was nothing special - they offered the same fruit and omelet every day (maybe mix it up!). Overall, a good place to stay and close to everything but overpriced for what it is.

Great hotel in good Getsemaní location. Nice rooms especially on second floor and up, roof top pool and friendly staff only downside was breakfast only served until 9am.

The hotel was good. The room is normal but it is clean. The bathroom is small but it can be managed. The pool in rooftop is small but it is cute to relax. The breakfast should be improved with more variety. The staff is very helpful

We didn't stay here but went in and we needed to ask for help and advice for the local area and Clara (receptionist) and Charlie (porter) were extremely helpful and if I return I would stay here - would recommend.

Rooms are much smaller than they appear in photos and the bathroom had no body wash. The hotel is also located in a loud part of the city. There was loud thumping music till late in the night but hotel staff did nothing to mitigate the situation. We spent a sleepless night and wouldn't stay here again. The only positive about this hotel is that it is walking distance from the San Felipe castle and thus allows for easy exploration.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The A/C didn’t work well and in the night the room was too hot for sleeping. Furthermore we had a room next to the breakfast and the employees of the hotel startet at 06:00 o‘clock in the morning loud talking and preparing the breakfast. That means we were awake at 06:00 o‘clock because it was too loud. In addition the hotel is in the middle of a building site and if you like to go to the pool it isn‘t nice there (and the pool is too hot for the climate in Cartagena). The only two good things were the breakfast (it tastes good) and you are in a 10 minute walk in the center. We don’t recommend the hotel to stay in Cartagena.

Adding review 8/31/22: It was the lack of internet and the poor room. It was very subpar for the price. I checked out early and went down the street and got a much better room for the same price WITH wifi! I had work to do and needed to be able to get online. The only internet that was working was in the front office and the signal wouldn't reach back to my room, so I had to go sit in the lobby the one night I stayed just to get any work done.

Great hotel, perfect central location. Amazing breakfast freshly prepared and great service. Pool area incredibly hot during the day with no shade.

The hotel was located perfectly!! You are walking distance to all the action, the clock tower plaza , Havana salsa club and tons of other clubs are within 10 minutes of walking. If your there to enjoy the night life? Then this is where you want to stay. Staff is helpful and this was my first time in Cartagena. This was the perfect place now if you want to be close to the beach then you stay in Bocagrande!! Had a awesome time here!! Highly recommend it.

I stayed here two nights as a solo traveler. I found everything to be great. The staff was so friendly. The room was big and comfortable. The rooftop pool was nice. The breakfast in the courtyard was perfect. The price was amazing for everything the hotel provided. I would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed being in the heart of Getsamani in this gem of a hotel. I really enjoyed the great service at breakfast and the staff working with me and what little Spanish I know. The customer service was pretty good. Unfortunately, there is a hotel being constructed next door at this time.

Cannot ask more for the price. 13 minutes walking distance from the touristic area, which is good for people who wants to have an idea of the real life, but it can be an issue for people who don’t like to walk in the heat. It’s next to the best pizza in town, Beer and Laundry, so don’t worry if you read that your hotel’s restaurant is only able to provide breakfast. If you are European, you won’t mind the size of the rooms. Its all about perspective.

Great little hotel! My wife and I stayed 3 nights here and it was perfect! The rooms were extremely clean, and although quite small, they were very efficient. For an extra fee, you can get a bigger room, but we usually don’t spend much time on the hotel so we went with the cheapest option. Which leads me to my next point; price. This was one of the cheapest hotels we found with great reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Service was amazing, and the hotel has a tiny pool on the terrace which is great for cooling off after a day of walking around the city, or just get some sun, since the only “nice” beaches are in the newer part of the city, which is flooded with tourists and lots of people and large buildings. This hotel is pretty much in between the barrios of Getsemani and Calamari (I think that’s what it’s called) and you can walk EVERYWHERE. In literally 10 minute walking radius from the hotel you have all that anyone could want; beautiful neighborhoods, great food, good parties, points of interest, etc. we were there 4 days and never left the walled city (except for a bus tour) and still wish we had more time to take it all in. Can’t say how happy we were with our hotel choice! Highly recommend it!

I love the atmosphere and the luxurious feeling throughout this place! It’s very nice. However, I was not given a key and was only told after I booked the room that it don’t get one. So, every time I wanted to enter my room I needed to ask someone and that was very annoying. I also had a problem with my shower not working and that took over an hour and a half to fix so that was also annoying since it messed up my plans. Then they left my room muddy and dirty after they fixed it. Also, my room was just two single beds pushed together which made the middle uncomfortable. I would have given this review less stars if it weren’t for them giving me some free drinks. *also note: there is loud construction next door but that was never a bid deal for me. It’s still a nice place though

Everything was cleaned and organized, the breakfast was awesome and delicious! What I liked the most was the location! Getsemani is a wonderful neighborhood, where you can find beautiful places to eat or just walk and take photos... For example you must walk through the Umbrella's streets, the paintings... The flags streets or just appreciate those colonial buildings or eat typical Caribbean food 😍if you want cheaper options or a big menu.. I recommend "El cabildo gastromar", but there are many different places!

Great hotel in a recently updated neighborhood, looks small from the outside but actually has great square footage, big enough for families, even though rooms for couples are a tad small. Breakfast is on point.

As mentioned by others, do NOT trust this place to honor your reservation. I booked online 2 rooms for one week with full confirmation from the platform. To make sure, I contacted the hotel and they told me that the rooms were not available! but to charge my card more than €1000 they have no problem!?!-I am still waiting for a refund. this Incident has ruined my holiday plans. SHAME ON YOU

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ! I've booked a room for 3 nights on Booking. I had to change my trip and asked to the hotel to modify my dates of reservation. The room is still available on Booking and the price is the same. I thought it was an easy operation. But not all ! After 15 messages and phone calls, the hotel doesn't answer. It's unbelievable to have such this service when your business is to welcome people. I don't recommend at all this hotel.
