My wife and I stayed here and it was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The breakfast here is AMAZING. The rooms are incredibly clean. The staff is friendly and helpful, they even walked us a few blocks to the nearest grocery store because we could not find it. Also, its one of the most beautiful colonial homes you'll ever see that's right in the middle of the old city. Awesome place.

I booked the hotel at Sophia initially, but when we got to the hotel, we were offered to stay at the hotel sister's Casa Conchera del Gobernador and we received a bigger room. The room has this colonial feeling, but with a modern look. The bed was very comfortable which I didn't want to wake up. The room had a bubble bath which was perfect to release my stress. They also had a coffee machine with premium coffee from Juan Valdes. Breakfast is located on the third floor and the food is very delicious. The hotel is located in the central part of the historical wall. Near the hotel, you can find convenient stores and boutiques. You can rent a bike from the hotel if you want to explore the city. The best part of this hotel was the service. They treated my girlfriend and me as if we were part of the family. They were also very helpful in making reservations for our tours and booking our spa appointment. For my birthday, they brought me a cake which I was never expecting. I highly recommend this hotel if you want a romantic and relaxing vacation.
