I do not understand how this hotel has a good rating. Here are my findings after a few days of stay: 1) Poor maintenence in general. Curtains in rooms are dirty, with blood or red stains, and they are old. I had multiple rooms booked and some of them smelled bad like there was mold or the AC was pushing humid air. 2) The glasses brought in room service smelled like they were dried with a dirty cloth. 3) Poorly painted walls in the room. For multiple bedroom suites, only one TV remote is provided for multiple TVs. 4) Doors do not close properly or lock. They also do not stay open. Balcony doors do not close well and all cold aire from the AC escapes. They also are very difficult to open. 5) The water from a strong rain gets into the room. Se corners and walls show missing paint and humidity or paint bubbles. 6) The ACs do not work properly. Buttons seem to do the opposite of what they say. Low fan setting is actually high. 7) Some lamps in the room do not work. Lamp shades are loose and broken. 8) After complaining with the chef about a fermented taste for the carrots and palm hearts, they confessed they were preserved or canned. 9) You cannot add purchases done at the hotel stores to the room. They cannot call you a cab or help you arrange transportation. You cannot add a taxi service to the room. 10) There is no service at all from the beach in front of the hotel. 11) The bed sheets come off when you move during sleep. They.do not seem the right size for the mattress.

Bedding is fantastic, so comfortable. Nice rooftop jacuzzi area but the tubs were not warm. Towels at jacuzzi were dirty too. Food was terrible at the buffet and service in hotel was hit or miss.

Ended up here after a cancelled flight and was pleasantly surprised. Radisson hotel was a great experience, everything is beautiful very clean and organized. The suite was great and the bed pillows and blankets were amazing, very soft and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, definitely a very good experience. Staff even stayed on earlier to accommodate us after our red eye cancellation.

Service leaves a lot to be desired, the Palenque buffet is terrible and Jacuzzis did not heat up. Room was not bad and bedding was very comfortable.

This is my second time in this hotel. We returned because the first-time I had a good experience. The hotel has good rooms, we were given an upgrade due to Expedia. The staff is great for the most part. Something we notice is that the hotel needs to put more effort in customer service and hospitality. I mean particularly in the way they manage the service, I ordered food for the room and they were difficult to accommodate some of our dietary needs when their menu has options. I wanted some boiled potatoes instead of French fries, at first he said No, then I argue my point and they agreed, somehow rude. They're rigid. The staff does the best they can but some of their policies are not gear to help customers. The hotel value is not cheap they should pay more attention to details. I do not think k I would come back. The pool was cold! They do not have a system to control the tempetarure for kids! Cartagena is hot for the most part but the pool had a lot of shadow. They also do not offer chairs at the beach. I think the hotel is too expensive for what they offer. I think there are better options for the same price or less.

Terrible experience checking in an expected room, Hotel .com scammed me booking the place 2 months earlier for nearly double their current price Hotel refused to acknowledge and upgraded me to a room which was not much better - the whole place needs renovation, safe box does not work , coffee machine and hair dryer. Use the stairs to access the only ice machine located in floor 5, for security elevator will get u only to your floor 😭 The worst was a cockroach crawling in my room last night. Fresh fruits in the breakfast is covered with gnat flies. Actual domestic flies will fight you for other options. 🤮Thanks god coffee is great and u go eat elsewhere. Staff are polite and friendly, they always act as they do not understand English to get away with a lot of things. 🤬

Had a wonderful, would love to come back. It's not in the city center, but I enjoyed it for that very reason. If I wanted to party and stay out late I could, but I could always go back to peace and quiet.

The staff was very friendly and they made us feel like home. A very comfortable and clean room, it was ideal for a family of four (including a baby, it was very nice that the hotel lend us a crib). Very good hotel with a privileged location near the airport and the beach. The beach was also not too crowded. If you want to move around the city or go to downtown you need to take a cab or rent a car.

This is an amazing fantastic hotel! The service was great and the rooms were excellent. Nice spa, gym and pool area. And it's right on the beach close to the airport. I highly recommend it 👌 👍

Great place. Walking distance to the beach. The rooms are fantastic and I will definitely come back again.

The hotel itself is nice. Large comfortable rooms. Good breakfast with many options. Multiple pools. It’s by the beach but I have to say it is a really ugly beach with brown water. There’s really nothing to do or see near the hotel. If your intention is to see the incredible city of Cartagena this is not a great location. You can take Uber which costs only 4-5$ and 15-20 minutes but it is much more convenient to stay in the city.

Wonderful vacations with family, staff was great, always looking forward how to make our stay better. We were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel sent us to our room a beautiful meaningful card, and delicious gift.

The rooms are fine. On weekends, there is a lot of noise coming from the first floor that propagates through all the surrounding s, which is not nice if someone s trying to sleep.

Hotel is nice, clean. Service is a little slow but not too bad. Pool is small so gets crowded. Hotel was reasonably priced so not too much to complain about. Overall a good experience.

We spent the night over due to a flight cancellation. It has been the worse hotel I have stayed. It had a musty smell. The sheets and blankets were humid. I would never come back to this hotel.

Service from the staff is great. They go far and beyond your needs. I have a son with allergies and they prepared our food especially for his needs.

We recently stayed a few nights for a wedding, we booked a suite with ocean view two bedrooms. When i came back home noticed my esmeral ring and earrings a diamond pendand was missing contacted the hotel just in case i left it by mistake all they did was said they were going to investigate and said in conclusion their staff did not see anything, Also to note we had asked for our room not to be clean but they went ahead and cleaned the rooms anyway. Also they went to service one of the air conditioners that wasnt turning off. One of the guest from our group also had some issues at the bar when the waiters were keeping his change after being already tipped. Is a shame that such a place doesnt have the staff to make the guest feel safe after our families brought so much business to them over 50 people from both families stayed thanks to us. The hotel never gave me a good resolution. Never again. Spend your money somewhere else.

Loved the staff, food, and the building. Everything was clean but the room itself needed a little updating.

The hotel is very beautiful in a Great location. The rooms have no iron. The shower, restaurant, staff, location, elevator, AC and service was absolutely excellent.

Very comfortable and good value. Nice beach, although there are lots of walking vendors constantly trying to sell to you.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Cartagena, it is located on the beach and has bar and food service in a small but secluded area on the beach. The staff was very friendly. Food at hotel is good but if you order from the menue, it takes forever to get food at the table, not good when you are very hungry, some guest canceled their orders and if waiter can't sell it is deducted from their pay. I understand delays, just tell me that my order may take 45 minutes or more. The rooftop jacuzzi area is great and has live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays. I stayed in a Jr Suit with a partial ocean view. It has one bedroom and 2 Baths, our son used comfortable sofa bed. I will likely return.

My go-to hotel in Cartagena! The service is unmatched and the rooms are very clean and beautiful 😍. All the personnel is amazing and very kind. The food and cocktails are great quality too. Highly reccomend this place if you come to Cartagena

Excellent Hotel, the service is amazing, they are very friendly. It has a ATM on the outside very useful, nice pool and beaches. The Bar and the restaurant are very good.

Rooms are comfortable and staff is nice and kind. The service at the restaurant can be a bit slow sometimes.

Drastically overpriced for the quality you get - the breakfast buffet is nice, but for $350+ per night, you can do MUCH better in quality, service, and amenities in Cartagena.

I want to congratulate and thank the restaurant staff, Jorge Fernandez, Wilson, Sandra Maya, German; to the entrance staff Oliver Zella, Carlos Villa and the concierge Carolina, for their excellent attention.

Service was 5* checkin and out very smooth. Food was great and real beachfront property with a nice shore at the doorstep. I would definitely repeat it.

As an American who doesn’t speak the best Spanish, everyone here was extremely accommodating. Sandro at reception was helpful and truly caring. Always asked if he could help us with anything. Most of the staff speak English and are very friendly. The pools were great and the beach was the best one I visited omitting the rosario islands. They have a vendor for tours in the lobby and I would recommend using them rather than any of the vendors in the walled city. The city is gorgeous and I felt safe as a tourist. 5/5

You dont get an invoice when you check put! Probably they want to save paper. You will get it on email but still no invoice and i have to call them but still no invoice! And support email doesnt work!
