We didn’t stay at hotel. Went only to the beach. Very nice place to have cabanas. Everything was organized. Departing and arriving by boat. You paid what you get. We wanted nice beach with nice water and service. Pool was nice as well. All negative reviews I’m reading. Guys you are paying $50 per person with food included for whole day and still demanding luxury service with foot massage. Go to Sofitel (we actually stayed there for 5 nights) and pay $300 per night. You will get high class service and no loud music no vendors with Kayaks and everything. Guys if you want get high class service you have to spend money on it

This is the reality in this supposed paradise. That paradise is only the name. Look at the photos and make your own opinions. Besides the bad appearance of the place, also, they charged me 20% of the total cost for canceling.

This is a beach club space. You have to take a shuttle from the mainland over. You must be prepared to purchase food or drink to remain in the space. Cabanas, massages, and ATV bikes are available.

It's a place to go and just relax, you won't be able to do much more, swim at the beach have some drinks, it's good for a couple of days but nothing else.

We spent an amazing day in this beach! I want to be back, the food was delicious and the drinks as well. The beach is clean, we had fun with the activities that the staff prepared for us, perfect place and wonderful view. ❤️

This place is well located and offers an excellent option for people that want to be close to Bocagrande and enjoy its beautiful facilities.

We specifically told the person who sold us the tickets that we were looking for a place to kayak and he suggested this place, but the kayaks they had were very flimsy and uncomfortable, and we were only allowed to use them within an area of at best 50×100 meter. This place is fine if you're looking for a place to sit in a beach chair, but selling it as a place to kayak is just dishonest.

loud music everywhere, no place to just relax, pool is under renovation, staff is unhelpful, food is okay. Kayaks can only be used in front of the club even though the water has no waves at all, looks like they are just trying to get money from the jet skis

The service was horrible! The staff was very rude and very unhelpful. They would just argue for anything instead of actually try to help out. The beach was empty and they still didn’t want to let us sit in comfortable sunbeds when we were promised that from the beginning. After that the staff rarely came around to take our orders so we had to go order at the bar all the time. In general the service was very poor but the view and location itself is worth it. If you value great service this is not the place to come to.

Hsed to get an umbrella, when we went for lunch at time given on the card, most food were already gone and options were very limited. Considering in the price you pay for boat, lunch and a spot on the beach - Overpriced

The staff was not helpful, service was terrible. Ordered a drink and never came, but was on the bill when we went to leave. We told them that we never received the Hatsu, and around the corner comes another server with the drink. Plus they kept my change. The buffet lunch is not a buffet. We felt the best part about this experience was the boat ride back to El Laguito. For the money to go there for the day, there are much better options available.

I did a day stay, place has nice view, there was a lot of people, but it didn't feel way too crowded it was like the fair amount. There was a person animating with a mic, did some dynamics that were funny. Bathroom are not that enjoyable to go to, they smell bad and look a bit nasty. There is also a lot of people offering services Food was regular. Not amazing, not bad, just regular. Would come back if I wanted a day to relax

The beach its no so nice, but the place and amenities they ok

Great value compared to expensive resorts like Decameron resorts. We had a ground floor room with patio +jacuzzi. Beautiful gardens. Room service available. Nice beach area with view of Cartagena across the bay. Great food. Massage Spa on site. Had a great time.

Nothing extraordinary in the resort, we took a day trip to relax but the loud music did not let us. The beach is fine , you can probably find a nice spot on the beach in the bocogrande area. It's not the cleanest either, the washrooms were pretty bad. The food was decent, not much for vegetarians though. We did it for the experience but don't think it was worth the money. We paid $300,000 pesos for two people.

At around $25-35/person it's probably the best bang for buck beach club I experienced. Amazing view of Cartagena, minimal crowds, and plenty of small activities to keep you entertained for the 5hrs or so you're usually out there. I recommend you get there by 9am to guarantee the nice beds on the beach. Payment included transportation there and back and a lunch buffet offering chicken n gravy dish or a typical fish dish with coconut rice and offer staple sides. This would be my first choice for an immediate relaxing vibe in Cartagena without all the panhandlers.

Boat is quick. Cocktails are reasonably priced. Beach is crowded and you have to rush to find a place to sit. Other than that very decent!

We spent the day there and I think it could be better if they had more toilets, better food, although there were some options to choose but nothing was elaborate.

Palmerito Beach Resort is beautiful. The rooms are nicely-sized, the food is excellent, the attention is amazing, the bar is located right on the beach with great music, delicious cocktails. I recommend this place 100%!!!

Beautiful resort island that you can reach by boat from Boca grande beach behind the old hospital. If you reserve the day pass on their website you will be treated to a free cocktail and lunch buffet. More drinks are extra but they are very generous with the booze and you only need a couple to get a good buzz going. Food is fantastic, they had fried fish, patacones, some kind of sweet pork dish, salad and of course fries. Comes with free use of the beaches, the pool, hammock area, tables and chairs and seating areas. All you need to really bring is yourself, some towels and maybe some sun block and whatever toiletries will make you more comfortable (wet wipes/hand sanitizer. Bathrooms are kinda gross but it's by a beach what do you expect?). The speedboat ride is really quick, only takes about 10 minutes to get out there and then you could spend the whole day relaxing. Boats start leaving Boca grande about 8:00am and the return trips start around 3:00 pm with the latest you can stay being about 4:30. There's a night tour too that I guess is more geared towards adults and alcohol.

I was very please with my stay in palmarito Beach. The waitera service is amazing. Ivan, Jorge and Anthony they do a great job, as well as the administrative assistants and the bar tenders do their best and make sure visitors are having a great stay. Food is also amazing and affordable. I strongly recommend this place, either to stay or to have a day in Tierra Bomba.
