I would highly recommend Dr. Jairo Montoya. I came from Philadelphia to Cartagena because I needed extensive work done. From root canals, extractions to crowns and implants, you name I probably needed it. I'm terrified of dentist since I was a little kid and he really made me feel comfortable enough to have all the work done. He explained everything thoroughly and patiently answered all the questions I had. He would also check on me after hours to make sure I was doing okay. Incredible service at a fraction of the cost of the US. The best dentist experience I've had in my life. Thank you so much for giving me my smile back.

A resounding yes. Dr. Montoya, who was fully booked, arranged to see me before opening hours for a teeth cleaning. A true professional. To demonstrate, Dr. Montoya advised me against teeth whitening - because they are already quite white - despite my insistence. That being said, it is clear to me that Dr. Montoya actually likes his job and advice is not driven by economic factors, but rather patient realities. Thank-you for everything.

We traveled to Cartagena from US. My brother and I knew we wanted to go to the dentist for a teeth cleaning over in Cartagena. We decided to go to this one because it was closest to us. The receptionist and the lady dentist treated us so kind. She took her time and her work was so dedicated. My teeth cleaning was 170,000 COP = around $39 USD. Please keep in mind this may change at the time of your visit. This is what I was charged for 1 person on 1/17/23. But I 100% recommend. Can’t beat that price 😁

Doctor Montoya and his assistants in Cartagena are the most knowledgeable and highly skilled dentist and dental assistant I have ever had in my life. DR Montoya was extremely gentle and very comforting as he performed implant surgery to replace my two front upper teeth and repair and restore adjacent teeth. While his primary and excellent first language is Spanish, his command of English and speaking to me in English was very comforting and done in a very caring and knowledgeable manner. DR. Montoya will forever be my dentist and I will always visit him even though I live in the United States. Normally a visit to the dentist is not a pleasant experience. This is not the case of Dr. Jairo Montoya! I came to Cartagena for a long vacation. I decided to look into doing some dental work. I investigated 3 dentists, the first 2 wanted to charge exorbitant prices for work I didn't need. Dr. Montoya has 30 years of experience and gave me a very reasonable quote just for what he needed to have done. It has a large office with the dental chair overlooking the beach. His staff was very warm and friendly, but the best part is Dr. Montoya himself, within 10 minutes I felt like I found a new friend. It works with smooth efficiency, always ensuring your comfort. His work is absolutely perfect, I called him a dental artist. His assistant Katia works very professionally. I gave Dr. Montoya 5 stars but I would have liked to give him 10 stars!
