This hotel has potential but it’s not there yet. The rugs stink specially more during the days that are very humid. The rooms have AC which is really nice, and the food is ok. I like the fact that the restaurants are walk ins, no need for reservations. There’s not much to do when it comes to activities and the beach is not clean. They do tell you that they bought the property a year ago and you can tell because some walls have cracks and are really dirty, it’s like they only did maintenance on the rooms and not the outside of the hotel. The staff are super nice, specially Javier from the grill bar, he makes the best drinks. They also have really good hot chocolate tho. The staff get a 10/10 from me but the property it self does need more work. People on other reviews complained about the electricity leaving for some time but I didn’t happen while I was there.

Food was not that good - I would say 6/10. I saw more than one bartender add water to drinks (mojitos usually). Even after shots none of our group felt drunk. Please please please coordinate all your travel through their concierge. A group of women we met at the resort were robbed by Colombian police in a regular local taxi. Room service food was better than the restaurants. My favorite food came from the Italian restaurant - excellent risotto. The beach area is beautiful. I would stay again but mostly for safety purposes. Prepare to use a translator app if you are not fluent in Spanish to make sure you're on the same page as staff. Everyone was kind.

I was a little skeptical from some of the reviews on here, but I actually had a really great experience at this resort! The food was the best I’ve experienced at an all-inclusive resort thus far. The staff is attentive and friendly. They keep entertainment going around the clock, this was great because the resort is somewhat far from the Cartegena attractions and night life. The hotel was clean, the rooms are a bit outdated and could use some upgrades, but not a big deal. We stayed on the preferred side of the resort. The air didn't really work during the day, but we were sightseeing mostly anyway. I wouldn’t consider it a 5 star resort (maybe 4), but it has 5 star potential. I would definitely return to this resort!

Great place with large modern rooms and a great view. Several restaurants with varied food. The beach is small but never crowded. There are so many pools everyone seems to stay in them. Every employee I interacted with was super friendly and helpful despite my Spanish insufficiency.

Let me start by giving a special S/O to Rafael, Julian(front desk), Julian(Steak house staff) and there was a staff member in the Coco Cafe who was awesome. These staff members were beyond helpful and attentive. They made our stay worth while from check in to check out. The resort is amazing!!! We were in the one bedroom tropical view and it is worth the money.. hands down best restaurants every and the drinks were premium! Definitely worth upgrading to premium club status! One of the biggest things we noticed was there were absolutely no bugs..no moths nor mosquitoes! One of the best resorts I ever been to. Room is only 4 stars because the ac went out but Julian upgraded us to a one bedroom suite swim up.

I had a great birthday experience! The food was great and the pools were nice. I recommend you get the preferred club option if you want to drink top shelf liquor and have access to the private beach where there's even more fun. The private beach is closed at 6pm everyday and at 7 pm for the preferred pools.

I really enjoyed my stay at Dreams Karibana. They took care of us and gave us very good service. The food was also delicious, especially the 3 restaurants where we didn't need a reservation. The room had a nice bathroom (separate shower and bathtub), a comfortable bed and a large balcony. Room service was convenient and quick. Let's not forget about the beach which was fantastic. The only negative is the fact that the shuttle (for free) provided by the hotel to take us to Cartagena was only available on weekends, I wish it was available every day. On the other hand, I would like to mention that the Air Transat agent, Rafael Botet, was really helpful and kind. He took our interests and fears into account and suggested some very interesting activities that we enjoyed. He is always there to help you, do not hesitate to go see him and ask him questions.

The resort and people are nice. I feel that the resort is too far from the city and it cost $15 american dollars to get a taxi into the city each time. Uber is about the same price and the wait is ridiculous. Quicker for a cab. The resort had cab drivers onsite for you so getting one wasn't hard. Also u can use the same taxi driver coming back just get the whats app contact info. The resort is nice but the food selection is a little limited. Not many restaurants to choose from and lots of buffet on the weekend. I do have to say that the bartenders are good with the drinks. Google translate is your friend while here if u speak no Spanish. Bring bug spray for these mosquitoes are ruthless and will bite you. Spa is services are wonderful and responsible so try them out. American $ is widely excepted here so bring your own money unless u want to exchange. I can't speak abut entertainment here at the resort for it was really any so if you want entertainment this is not where u come. The only issue that I would say I had was not knowing what was going on here at the resort. Apparently my room was without the pad that shows you whats going on at the resort. Some of my friends had them in there rooms but I didn't so I was clueless about what the resort offered. Not a bad place to stay but not a great one either if you are wanting more out of your all inclusive stay.

The hotel was very safe and clean. The service was amazing as well. The only reason I won’t give 5 stars is the food wasn’t that great. We had better food outside the resort.

Definitely not a good hotel, very few people are helpful and willing to do the job. The VIP service that they offer it’s not really VIP. Restaurant food is awful. And it’s a lack of communication among the staff. Definitely not coming back to this hotel or recommend to any of my friends/family.

This place was amazing. I would definitely go back. The service was amazing, the food and drinks were good, the rooms were nice, the view was incredible. Everything was great about this I would go back. The spa was amazing too. Loved every second of being here. Considering this was my first all inclusive resort, I was not disappointed at all.

Me and my Fiancé had an amazing time here. We stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights. There was plenty to do on the resort and they also have concierge that will help you with other fun activities. We had the best couples massage experience together in our second day. The food was so good, lots of flavor and very fresh! I highly recommend.

Great place for a chill get away. Music was a bit loud in our room but we were on vacation and enjoyed the balcony view of the events. Food was good, service was great and bar was excellent. Beautiful beach, the facility could use a facelift but the rooms were beautiful. Spa was relaxing. Kenier and Jhon at the beach bar were so helpful and welcoming! Good job overall.
