My husband and I had our wedding at Casa Pombo. The staff were amazing and the food was excellent. The Accommodations were very comfortable and great for our group of 30 people. We loved hanging out by the pool with great views of the walled city from the rooftop. I would highly recommend this property for anyone planning a special weekend with a group or family in Cartagena.

OMG. We stayed here for a friends wedding, it also served as the location for the wedding and was out of this world! The rooms are nice but it’s the living areas including the downstairs pool that weaves in and out of the bedrooms which is amazing. The rooftop pool was the perfect backdrop for a pool party post wedding and the mezzanine room was stunning for the ceremony!

+ Beautiful, traditional villa in the middle of Cartagena’s old town. - Service is bad (door guy fell asleep and did not open the door etc..) and by the time I was there the roof top pool was under construction (not to use and noisy because of construction). As a consequence it was highly overpriced.

Wonderful hotel! What a nice monument, original, historical, magic! Everything is nice from the lobby to the rooftop. The rooms are especially amazing. And the service of the day is great. Note: the breakfast is ok but not great compared to the quality of the hotel.

A very negative experience. I would not book this hotel —the room was not clean (there were hairs in the shower when we arrived). The day after our first night, our room was not made up either. We could not sleep at night, even on a Wednesday, because the street noise was so loud. Management was very unresponsive to helping the situation at all. Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel to any traveler since the service and condition of the room did not allow for a comfortable or restful stay.

This place is magic! The most enchanting place I have ever stayed. The staff is amazing and will help you with what ever you need. Each room in the house is unique and beautiful. You could spend days exploring Casa Pombo and never see all of its hidden treasures. We hosted a wedding there and it was beyond wonderful. The location is perfect to access all of Old Town we can't wait to come back to Casa Pombo

Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. Extremely comfortable rooms with a powerful AC, lovely rooftop pool and made to order breakfast. Stunning design - lots of photo opportunities, feels like a Colombian movie set!

(Please Read Everything) Don't ever stay here!! Ever! Because it is so amazing we do not want the prices to inflate! Will have our wedding here this place is a magical place. If you have bad energy please please please do not stay here the staff is amazing the breakfast is quaint this place is incredibly historical and wonderful. If you have a negative opinion or mind never stay here. Save it for the people who truly deserve Casa Pombo!!!

Great staff, very nice rooms with *COLD* AC and very centrally located within the walled "El Centro" old city district. Numerous small pools make for easy quick dips to cool off. Awesome architecture. Quality restaurants, cafes, shopping, markets and historical attractions right outside the door. Enthusiasm of street vendors can be a bit much at times, but they're all quite friendly. Eager, but not aggressive. A few noises from the street do reach the rooms, but it's not particularly bothersome and frankly a lot quieter than we anticipated -- the all-hours, full-volume music and constantly-tooting horns common to so many Latino cultures is not present here. Kitchen could be outfitted a bit better. Our family, including kids, had a really pleasant stay and felt very safe. We would happily come back -- after a couple short days it became our Cartagena home and neighborhood.

We rented out the entire mansion for our wedding this past October! The staff was amazing and very helpful. We had the best weekend at Casa Pombo and made so memories with family and friends! We can’t wait to return on day soon!

This was the perfect place to stay in Cartagena. Edgardo and all the staff made us feel very welcome and cared for. Every inch of the building is beautiful - with great amenities like delicious breakfast and unique pools. And our room overlooked the beautiful plaza but still felt very private.
