Chiar daca am fost in program am reusit sa vizitam Cetatea Medievala fara Muzeu care era inchis.Panorama este deosebit de frumoasa chiar si iarna,am vizitat Cetatea in februarie.Este amenajata si intretinuta bine,exista parcare,toilette ecologice iar drumul este bunicel spre locatie.

Medieval fortification dated 14-17th century. Gorgeous little fort well worth a visit. Nice views from too of the tower. We stayed in Haleg and drive out to the fort as part of a visit to the National Park.

Beautiful fortress renovated fresh! Tickets are 5 lei and you cand visit inside. The tower have 5 floors with a few things inside. Outside the smell of acacia tree si fabulous. Come and visit!

It is a small but very cosy and well restored fortress which worth a visit! The guide from the fortress is very good! She presented us the history of the place and also a few legends regarding the fortress. The entrance fee for the tower is 5 lei/pers but you can visit also the other parts of the fortress free of charge. Enjoy!

Cetatea Medievala Malaiesti, Tara Hategului. Nu sant istoric, nu vreau sa va fac o descriere a istoriei zbuciumate , a cetatii, dar vreau sa va povestesc cam ce-am observant, pentru a va incuraja sa o vizitati…merita! In traseu spre Cascada Lolaia, am oprit si la Cetatea Medievala Malaiesti. Pe un drum, pot sa spun chiar bun, am fost uimit de frumusetea acestei Cetati care a fost renovata si arata chiar foarte bine. Frumos ingrijita, drumurile de acces si scarile, la fel, iar curatenia de nota 10. Una peste alta este o cetate accesibila si atragatoare pentru toate varstele, asa ca n-o ratati. Sigur n-o sa va para rau pentru ce ati vazut. Peisajul din jur este unul frumos, care va v-a acapara sigur.

Ușor de ajuns la cetate,iarba cosită,locație îngrijită.Priveliștea din turn e superba.

Tot ce tine de trecutul nostru este deosebit de valoros! Sunt recunoscatoare pentru ca am putut vizita aceasta cetate restaurata! Am vazut steaguri cu blazoane, armuri si arme medievale, am privit prin ferestrele din zidurile de aparare si mi- am imaginat cum supravegheau strajerii toata zona de jur imprejurul cetatii. M- a mirat dimensiunea foarte mica a incaperilor si mi s- a spus de catre d- na ghid ca acolo nobilii se retrageau in conditii de pericol, pt a supravietui. Si pentru perioada de pace aveau alte constructii mult mai spatioase si mai confortabile! O panorama superba din varful turnului de aparare spre Muntii Retezat!

Frumoasă și la un preț de batjocură, adică 5 lei.

Toată cetatea ar merita clar 5 stele, însă am dat doar 2 pentru că din păcate nu am găsit pe nimeni ca să putem intra și înăuntru, deși programul nu se încheiase. Am sunat la numărul afișat pe ușă, dar din păcate doamnei i-a fost mai greu sa vină de la 3 km, ținând cont că noi am venit aici de la câteva sute de km! Dat fiind faptul că ploua puțin și eram 4 persoane, doamnei nu i-a prea convenit sa vină doar pentru noi, deși la coborâre ne-am mai întâlnit cu alte 3 persoane care voiau sa viziteze cetatea! În afara acestui fapt dezamăgitor, locația și priveliștea este superbă! Dacă aveți noroc să și găsiți pe cineva acolo, probabil experiența va fii mult mai plăcută!

Cetatea Mălăiești is an absolutely beautiful place. I went early in the morning to visit Cetatea Mălăiești to enjoy the beautiful weather. This place offers some beautiful views. The fort has been restaurated around 2015 and it is open for visit. The view are beautiful. You can also visit the tower's 5 floors ( 3 down, 2 up) for a fee.

Nice citadel but there is a special place near it called "Cafeneaua cu hamace"

Even though the artifacts are not original, the citadel is very nice! Definitely a "would come again".

The Mălăiești Fortress is an old impressive medieval monument, close to Retezat Mountains, witness of a militar and economical development, at that time, of the Hatzeg region, known for its strong Romanian leaders. The owners were from such a rich and powerful family. The fortress is close to Via Transilvanica, a very special road somehow similar with Camino de Santiago, but much more touristical than religious.

Cetate reconstituită parțial. Inițial a fost construit doar turnul cu doua etaje, ulterior a fost înălțat și adăugate zidurile fortificate cu patru turnuri in Colțuri.
