Very fantastic place, there you will get inner peace. There are some places where you can elaspe time with you without any disturbance. And there is wonderful view of lake. You can explore the lake by boating. There are two types of boats are available one for two persons which is a paddle boat and other is for more than 6 persons which is a motor boat. Whose cost is 325 rupees for 30 minutes per person. Paddle boat cost is lower than motor boat. Paddle boat will available for 2/4 persons so that they can balance the boat in water. It is wonderful if you will go there with your friends and family. There are parks near the bank of the lake so that people can take rest there. I didn't not find drinking water there in the parks. Only one place where you can get water is the main entrance where you get tickets for boating

My experience here was very good although the place is a bit expensive but it's okk. Here you can spend a good time with your family, friends or patner. There is a separate play space for children too and yes you can also enjoy boating here. There are many stalls and restaurant for food but it is a bit expensive. I would suggest you to come here once.

Boating charge is 500 for two people for half an hour and 500 extra for security which is returned only if you get back in half an hour or will be charged after passing that deadline. I like this place so much that two days continuously i visited it during evening time. Lake is very beautiful and clean. Around 2km is the length of Lake and road is there along with it which people use to take stroll and jogging. Parks are also there where people do yoga, meditation and exercise. You can also see people playing guitar. On one side there are restaurant, game and playing area. Boating is also available till before sunset. This place is worth visiting multiple times, be it kids, young or old person.

It was a great place to spend the new year day with family and kids. There is a small amusement part for the kids, boating, and food makes the place engaging. Outside the park we have seen camel ride which was exciting. Near the lake there were lots of artists who were making portraits real-time. My 8 year old daughter was fascinated by the fast delivery of her portrait. There is car parking place near the lake. Overall experience is very good. The only thing I did not like is the card system for payment which actually wastes lots of time. I recommend this place for visiting with family and kids.

This is Man made lake in Chandigarh. It's really huge and one of the happening place as well. You can see many food stalls, Sketch artist and many more things to explore while walking around. One of the main attraction is boating. One can find many boating options and packages here for Family or Special occasions. If you are in Chandigarh take some time out during evening hours to enjoy this beautiful lake.

This is an amazing endeavour by the forest department. This bird sanctuary is near Sukhna lake. You should have 2-3 hrs to visit it. You should wear comfortable shoes cause enjoying this park would involve a lot of walking. There are umbrellas kept at the entrance and at various points which you can borrow for protection from sun and keep it back on your way out. The trail is well defined. The ticket to visit is 30 inr for children and 50 inr for adults. There is an additional ticket for 100 inr in case you wish to get close to the interactive birds and feed them. There are water coolers at various places for a quick water refill. It hosts a souvenir shop for making memories and a cafe for a quick snack. Rest I'll not say much and let my pics do the talking.

Lovely place for those who are finding peace and natural views, you can sit before the lake and can enjoy your moments. It becomes more beautiful at the time of sunrise and sunset. There is a banyan tree where you can relax and on the right side of it , upstairs you can have the view of golf ground. Further there is a way to forest walk and can find some seasonal lotus. You can have food here but it is not so worthy. People love to jog, walk and boating here.

Very nice and beautiful place to cherish at Chandigarh. The location is wonderful and maintenance is good. Lot of boats to roaming in the lake. Walkways and tree rows are very enjoyable one . We liked the lake very much and spend a entire evening in the lake. Especially children liked very much for the entertainment available in the lake like play areas etc.

I mean this place is awesome. I can think for full 1 hour and still will not find a single thing to criticize. In the words of Homelander "It was Perfect. Perfect, down to the last minute detail." Free Entry, Peaceful and Silent Environment, Flowers everywhere and everything is well crafted. Still think how much thinking and time must have been consumed to built this place. Spent many weekends just sitting here, enjoying the water with warm sun in winter reading books.

We went boating here, it was a very fun and calming experience. After boating there is multiple eateries present on the opposite side. It's a nice hangout place. Booking tickets here is a hassle. You have to hop between two different counters, one for getting a card and another for paying and getting your refund back.

Nothing special just because it is not maintained properly. The water has almost dried and it has became more of a Point to meet for couples. It's not so clean either as it is filled with wrappers of chips etc by the illiterate dummies of this city.

Do take the Wonders ticket worth 100/- (in addition to the regular ticket worth 50/-) so that you can enjoy a close up experience with the Macau. They do let you interact with them and they make them sit on your arm for a perfect picture!

Beautiful Bird park opened in 2018 near Sukhna lake. You'll need 2hrs to see the park & if you are with kids, will take some more. Below 5yrs no ticket & ticket for Adults is 50 rupees. To take pictures with Macaw Parrot from South America, 100 rupees more. Park opens at 10am till 5pm.

I think the place is really good for an evening outing we did the cruise ship as paddle boat would have been difficult in humid and hot weather in June I would not recommend the cruise ship as it is very slow I would rather recommend people to take a walk along the cost of the lake The food is also a bit on the expensive side Pro tip to buy any ticket for boating you need to first buy a card which can be bought in the food court area. I wasted time by standing in the line for boat ticket without buying the card.

Beautiful Lake and walking path along it. I visited in the evening on a full moon, just lovely! The sculptures and art pieces along the lake were really cool and surprisingly, it was not crowded at all. Really lovely escape from the busy areas.

I visited this lake in evening during my visit to Chandigarh. There is a food court and cruise rides available at the lake. I did the basic cruise ride and find it to be okayish as it was quite hot and it was a bit slow. Maybe one can go for more premium cruise ride. The atmosphere is very serene here. Refreshing and full of life. Weekends witness a large footfall. Has a park, and a jogging track for fitness enthusiasts. People can enjoy boating as well. There is a garden of silence at one end of the lake, with Lord Buddha seated. One of the best places to visit in Chandigarh.

Fresh cakes are available with this beautiful couple and taste wise the cakes are so delicious and yummy. I personally like their cakes on Saturday and Sunday they also sell cheesecake that cheesecakes are also so tempting and mouthwatering. This place is highly recommended to you all to visit over there 😇❤️

What a lovely place. Very well maintained. Specially the flowers area. Even water is quite clean. Birds roaming around. Early morning is quite peaceful.

We had a lot of fun here. There was a carnival setup with simulation rides VR and also smaller rides for kids below 10 years. The boating option was available with 2 seaters and 4 seaters and also cruise. The boating needed a card to be bought for 1000/- of which ,500/- is returned provided we get the boat back to dock by half an hr. Or it would be kept as penalty. That was s little unnerving. But overall a lovely experience. Especially as the weather was great. Lots of eating options to sit and eat, as well as chat , coconut water etc. washroom is also available. Just outside we have the hop on hop off bus stop where we went on the last pickup at 3pm and just enjoyed the view from the open top of the double decker bus. It was a fun trip. This was 75/- per person and totally worth it. There was a number available which we called. Ticket to be purchased on the bus . There was also a camel ride available on the road outside

Its an extremely wonderful place to be at with family. Lake is very beautiful. U can hire various types of boats there like pedal boats, Shikara, motor boats and Cruise etc. Fresh food is also available there. U get many artists there who make ur pencil sketch within minutes. ADVENTURES FOR KIDS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE. Very nice experience

There are nice paths around the lake, so you can take a really relaxing stroll. It's just a great spot to kick back, enjoy the peace, and maybe even have a snack by the water.
