Amazing location, right next to Rive Gauche shopping mall. The reception was super nice and helpful. Security is excellent, if you arrived late at night. You have to ring the bell to enter the hotel, once on the second floor you have to ring again to enter lobby. Lobby area is spacious and cozy, with a game and a foosball table. The bar is right next to the check-in counter, various types of beers on the taps, and liquors on the wall. We got a suite on the 4th floor, huge room, good enough for the whole family of 4. A king size bed for the parents, and 2 singles for the kids. There is a mini kitchen with a microwave, a sink, and dining table for 4. The TV is also huge, with lots of channels. I think what you will love is the massaging rain drop shower, higher pressure than just the gravity, get the kinks out of the shoulder from a long drive. The shower and sinks are separate from the toilet so it's really convenient. The bed, pillows, comforters, AC all excellent. However, the single beds were a little stiff. Parking is the only issue, although parking is directly below the hotel, because of the road construction it is very difficult to get to. It took us nearly 20mins to find a way to the parking. Maybe it is best to just park the car, and come up to the lobby from the parking garage, skip driving to the front of the hotel to unload the luggages. Search for Rive Gauche parking, the hotel parking is B06 zone, follow the hotel logo on the floor to get to the lobby. Plenty of food right next door in the shopping mall. A recommended stay! ๐Ÿ‘

Great hotel located right in the city center of Charleroi. The rooms are very nice and the staff is very professional. The bar staff is very friendly as well. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

This Novotel is absolutely amazing on all fronts, whether you pass through Charleroi or stay there for a shopping or weekend break. What makes the experience really special there is the great care from the staff, a really good breakfast, fantastic rooms, the superb location, the outdoor terrace and the design & coziness around the bar and reception area. I found myself chilling there for a few hours on the cozy sofa's after a heavy night and absolutely adored it :' )

Perfect central location and also cheap. Staff very friendly, room are spacious and clean, they also have a modern feel. Overall good experience. Buffet breakfast wasnโ€™t great however as itโ€™s very limited and repetitive for the price they charge.

The room would be worth giving 4โญ but the shower door had a huge gap which caused a water leak into the room. Overall I still recommend it as it's the perfect location with the shopping mall literally attached to the hotel and lots of restaurants, cafes, train station within the walking distance

A very nice hotel. Good location on walking distance from the railway station. And close to a shopping mall and other shops and restaurants. Nice upgrade to an executive room with lots of space. Good sleep on the 5th floor. Good breakfast buffet. And very effective check in and check out

The outstanding service should be noted. We had a small problem in our original room and it was quickly solved without any hesitation. If we were to go to charleroi again, in the future, we would 100% stay here again

I never usually give out one-star ratings. But when another guest enters your room by accident, and the swipe key works, that is a serious security breech. Had to keep asking for amenities to be replenished in the room on a daily basis. Breakfast was fine. Staff could be trained better. At least to a UK standard. They could be more attentive and acknowledge you as you wait. Given a choice, I would rank IHG Hotels over this Accor Hotels. Unfortunately, we had no choice on a pre arrangement from the tour company. But they will here are feedback on this Accor hotel. The F&B staff did a good job at breakfast. Can't fault this. Front of house and housekeeping need training to perform better and get their act together, or you're going to lose tourists over what happened. Particularly security and key issues.

The taxi that i ordered from the hotel to the airport charged me 35euro. The Hotel Said that they have a collaboration with the taxi which takes 20 euro. The real Price should have Been around 12 euro. The taxi dropped us 2 km before the airport in a suspecious place. After a Long diskussion with the driver i ended paying 20 euro.

All good, just very complicated to reach the hotel by car, very central location. And if you drive a vehicle over 2m, recommend parking in railway station parking. Safe and under CCTV.

Hello, the hotel is close to the airport. Our flight was cancelled so Ryanair sent us there over night, or to be exact 3am. I would specifically like to thank the person who was on night shift at the time and that was Mike. He helped me and our group to get a transfer to the airport at the last minute, as the bus arranged by Ryanair forgot to pick us up. I would like to praise him for his kindness and doing as much as he could from 3am-5am almost as we were lacking information from the airport and anyone else. He showed professionalism and good understanding of the complete situation.

Nice hotel in city centre, rooms are clean and comfortable beds. Airconditioning is making a lot of noice sometimes. Breakfast is okay. Staff is friendly

Everything was fantastic. Great attitude of a staff. We will always stay at this location when traveling to or through. Spot was perfect, on a street full of shops and restaurants.

Nice and clean rooms and public areas, delicious breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant closed exactly at 10pm without any flexibility. We couldnโ€™t even eat any snacks because of the late arrival.

Very good hotel with modern and clean rooms, beautiful bar & restaurant. Location is probably not the best (specifically during evening / nights) + the service could be better, that's why can't give it 5 stars

Centrally located and convenient in one of the best areas of thw city. Rooms are modern, clean, spacious, quiet and confortable. The staff is friendly and professional. The decoration of the entire hotel is modern chic and make you feel very comfortable. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed from Friday evening for the entire week-end and even though breakfast buffet offers a wide selection, it could have more choice and local and premium quality products for a 4-star hotel.

Bed was comfortable and fresh. Bathroom was clean. Room was quite dusty. Personal of the hotel - OK. Unfortunately it was impossible to relax in the room during the night because of the technical noise (ventilation or boiler, no idea) at the other side of the wall near the bed. Room 437.

Couldn't open windows, room wasn't very clean, various odors around the building, didn't like the stay and will not return.

Nice location in the centre of the city, good bar, friendly staff and basic clean room. Would come back.

The worst night ever in an hotel. In the middle of the night the reception staff open the door of the room to get in with a new guest. No sorry next day and any comments after the success. The restaurant was close for guests but still 100 people eating. Bad organisation and worst service.

There is nothing to complain about the hotel, the staff and the rooms. The breakfast is very good and the friendly roof terrace offers a great view. The cleanliness is excellent. The only thing to complain about is the surroundings of the hotel. The car should be safely parked in an underground garage.

I liked it a lot. Great choice in smack dab downtown Charleroi. One interesting fact I noticed were the TV channels which were all news. I guess that's what people mostly like in hotel rooms. To disconnect from daily life by watching the news, it's pretty cool actually and smart. News relaxes you, even negative news (which is over 90% nowadays). Back in the day (before wifi) there were internet ports in hotel rooms, now that internet is so important for people that work on the road, I would find it useful if the hotel provided an area where you could just open up your laptop and plug in and not necesarily use their available computer which is only good for printing boarding passes and checking email. An ethernet cable available at the front desk for guests would be useful too. All in all, had a really good rest here, room is quiet and spacious

Very good ***** service from staff. Corona safety measures excellent. Great position in the centre of town. Only minus point, the glass door to the bathroom/toilet in the bedroom. Why is this the fashion these days? Lack of privacy in a small space. I can only assume it was a computer generated design, after all computers don't fart.

I spent 2 nights in the hotel, which is quite new and therefore everything is absolutely in very good condition. It is also as central as it can possibly be. Nevertheless, I would not book a room in this specific Novotel again for myself. One reason is, that it is located directly at the central square, so you can still hear the music and noise from any outside festivities at the weekend, which took place while I was there, to some degree in your room until close to midnight, which is not great, if youโ€˜re prone to noise and want to sleep without earplugs. Another more serious reason, that the hotel definitely needs to fix, is that the air condition is absolutely useless and I read other remarks here, that mentioned this, too. It is not only really loud, even if the fan only runs on a medium setting, but it also has nearly no effect at all, even if set to a turbo cooling for 1-2 hours. Therefore, you can only choose on a warm day between sleeping in a silent room with 24 degrees Celsius or in a really noisy room (from the air conditioning) with 23 degrees Celsius (according to the readings of the display for the air condition). And my main concern is, even though that may be only a personal preference, that the mattress is really really soft and much too soft for my personal preference for a good and healthy sleep. For my second night, I even decided to sleep on the carpet on the floor in front of the bed instead to finally get some sleep. Other than that, I also took a look at the selection for the breakfast (which I personally always only order in every hotel after seeing, what the hotel has to offer) and it seems pretty basic to me and not worth the extra money.

The rooms are super efficient and comfortable. They forgot to give me back my passport though and I got it back one month later. They never contacted me. Thatโ€™s very weird

I just arrived at the hotel from a 7 hours flight and couldn't sleep because a group of kids were playing football and shouting in the coridors in front of my room, I called reception and they didn't do anything about it! do not recommend.

I love the lounge area, ideal for a date. They have the Bisous M'chou, the local beer from Charleroi, on offer. I don't know how many stars this hotel has but it is classy enough for me.

Located in the center of town, the room was nice and modern. The A/C was functional and the room nice and cool. My only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower was very weak. Breakfast was quite good with lots of choices. I would recommend and stay here again.

We needed a last minute stay before a flight and was able to get in easily here and for an affordable price. The staff was so helpful at all times. The rooms are pretty good and have everything you need ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Great place for a great price. Central location, easy process, good food. We got a family room and they'd already set up the pull out couches for our kids!

I requested to provide us with a taxi service from the airport to the hotel since our flight arrive at 23.00 and we were traveling with our 6 years old daughter.. well after 8 calls to the hotel and taxi company, the taxi finally came after 1 hour and 15min later. A stinky taxi with a taxi driver who wanted to be paid only cash.. after all this we only got a "I'm sorry" from the guy at the reception...baaad service.

A good place to stay before a flight from Charleroi airport. Only 17 minutes from the airport. There is a nice shopping center just nearby. Modern rooms, friendly and helpful staff.

Neat hotel, good value for money with a nice breakfast. 10 min drive to CRL airport, better option then all the low level hotels near CRL. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall , where you have plenty of shops and food options. Parking was 10 euros a night.
