Well, I never usually write reviews online, but I couldn't allow this to go without informing others. I went up to the Panthers game on Saturday after driving in for several hours. I splurged on the game to get really good seats, so I wanted to just get something cheap just so my wife and I could rest before hitting the road the next day. If zero were an option, this hotel would receive that rating. The room smelled horrible, I used an entire can of lysol just to mask the smell, and the AC unit smelled of mildew. But this wasn't the worst part. After pulling the sheets back, my wife noticed huge deep red stains on the wall. It looked like blood stains. Pics are attached. If they are, it seems someone got seriously hurt in this room. There was no smoke detector in the room, so if there was an emergency, I'm not sure how effective their evacuation plan is. I know this is an extended stay type of hotel, but people are living their full time, and some of them are really sketchy. We had got to the hotel really late after the game, and there wasn't a lot of time to react. Never got an answer from downstairs when trying to call for an hour. So the next morning I went down and it took 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. The front desk clerk was no help at all. Her response was, "Why didn't you call and tell someone? My response was, "I've been trying, but you all are never around, and I've been standing here for 20 minutes to get helped." I believe they are in the back sleeping. I am advocating to get a refund from the hotel/choice hotels for this is by far the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel stay. And we didn't get a wink of sleep. I am also going to escalate this further because I am concerned about the safety protocols they have in place.

I’m hoping this reaches people before they book. The pictures are STOCK PHOTOS. It is not like that upon arrival. 1. Upon entering, we were greeted with a smell I can only describe as stale weed & cigarette smoke masked by Lysol cleaner. 2. There are no suites available - don’t book them (being renovated but not listed on the app/website). 3. The carpeted floors are riddled with unknown stains. 4. It reeks of urine outside 5. The room we were in did not have a smoke detector. It just wasn’t even present on the wall. Incredibly unsafe and dangerous. 6. There was LITERAL FECES on the floor of the hotel hallway when we walked to our room. 7. We returned to the hotel in the evening after dinner around 9:30pm and there was a man performing lewd acts near his car, a group of people loitering at the back of the hotel doing drugs and shouting and lots of yelling in various rooms of the hotel from patrons. Police presence was apparent at the neighboring hotel; not a good sign. 8. Someone on the cleaning staff or perhaps another guest STOLE items I left behind by accident in the closet. Two kids jean jackets. The manager simply said ‘they are not in the room’ and had no further help for me. I wish people had done the right thing; now this property will be reported to corporate and I’m highly angry I had items stolen from me. Connie, the second manager, was lovely and I wish I had been able to work with her more instead of the other manager.

This was an absolutely abysmal experience! I drove from Knoxville, TN and had a concert to go to on 11/4, but when I showed up there wasn't a room for me. I had made a reservation back in the summer and had several confirmations that my room was reserved. The receptionist was on her phone the whole time and was beyond apathetic about the cancellation. I asked for a manager's card, there were not any. I asked for the manager's number and was told she did not feel comfortable giving it out, yet the only solution was for me to give mine out. I am still waiting for a call when I was supposed to receive one on 11/6. DO NOT GO HERE!! They do not care about you, nor your experience. They cancel and do not inform you that they have done so. Overall, the lack of care and thought are apparent on all levels. After Response from “Manager”: I’m sorry that the pipe break affected your phones and your computers making it unable for you to contact me. I have no intention of reaching out as the response is far too little far too late. I sincerely hope you learn common courtesy.

When I checked in I noticed an odor immediately. I assumed this was possibly just at the lobby. After check in, I walked down the hall to be completely surprised by the dirtiness of the carpets and smell of smoke. I got to my room and everything was clean and as advertised. Only wish would be that the air conditioner gets cleaned. Personally I think this hotel is transitional for folks getting back on their feet. Everyone was nice that I came across which helped me feel at ease. I should have taken photos but the other reviews pretty much corroborate what I saw.

Got to my reservation last week only to find out it was cancelled without notice!! After driving 3 hours!! All I got was sorry.. it's happened to 12 people so far today!! If you over booked it's not my problem. I'm like what?? Had to sleep in my car!! Wheres the coupon or other other accommodationsat another hotel?? So people with bigger back accounts get to slide in??? Still waiting!! Said they would see what they could do! RIDICULOUS!!!

Everything was good when Katie was manager. Yeah the place could use some remodeling but you get what you paid for. When the new manager came she made me either pay weekly or the daily hotel rate when I was paying $50 a day for almost 2 months. Her and her staff is rude. They will talk to you crazy and if you even raise your voice they call the police. If you can help it don’t stay here.

My group and I were told that our reservation, which had been paid for months in advance, had been cancelled for us with no warning. The front desk didn't seem to care or want to try to find a solution for us, and the management, who was not present, refused to communicate when we tried. The terrible management here will take your money without any regard for whether they actually have a room to put you in. This is all without mentioning that the building is simply disgusting to be in. If the lobby was as bad as it is, I don't what to imagine what our room would've been like if we were let into one. Don't ever go here. Anything else is a better choice.
