THIS HOTEL IS THE WORST!!!! My vehicle got broken into TWICE within TWO WEEKS!!!! Not only my vehicle but it has been 12 vehicles in 3 weeks!!!! This is RIDICULOUS!!! And it’s sad because the general manager doesn’t wanna do any about it!!! I’m a traveling worker, my company has plenty rooms for us in this hotel for 4+ months which is a EASY 40k-50k and we can’t have the peace of mind that our vehicles is save & wont be REPEATEDLY BROKE INTO!!!! HOTEL NEEDS SECURITY AND BETTER Management!!!

Although we only stayed for one night, it was a nice stay. The beds were very comfortable and also the pillows. The room was clean. The only complaint would be the couch in the living area. It was old and dirty with spots. They need to update the living room couch and the dining room chairs. Other than that, it was decent. I would stay there again!

Love this hotel. Staff is very friendly, rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The beds are super comfy .Right In the middle of plenty of food options and right off the highway. Definitely will be staying here again

Room was small even tho I was told before coming they would change it no problem . They would add notes to the account . Got there an the front desk woman had the worst attitude! Went to the room an quickly see the sheets had been changed pulled them back an it was dirty at the bottom where people’s feet go . Thank god I work hotel industry an know to bring my own sheets an stuff . Pillows smells mildew like . Forks an pans was dirty . On top of it all they waited 4 day later till I called to question why my deposit wasn’t released. Her reply was “ oh I just did it for you “ so if I didn’t call I would’ve not ever got my money back ?it’s a shame . My family stayed at the Hyatt across the street it was 10 times better service an room wise . Won’t make this mistake again

Called few weeks prior and asked about hotel inquiries with rates the person I spoke with did mention for i to download the IHG Rewards since I did explain to her I travel a lot with my job, she did mention AARP and Govt rate which did help and she did also give me her Sales Market Manager information which I will use in the future. When it came to my arrival date upon check in was not greeted just a “checking in?” Came down after checking in with few issues of the room of missing simple things like soap in shower we’re not filled and floor was not fully swept and was missing few kitchen utensils called front desk no answer tried again no answer walked down there nobody was around. Went out to eat and when I came back later on that night upon lobby entry the lady at front desk had to let me in since door was locked she did say “hey how are you ? Do you have a room here?” I did tell her that I do and that my key did not work she did explain they lock doors at 11 and they are working on getting that entry fixed for key access. I did ask her for a broom and the kitchen utensils I was missing and she went to go get it and asked me if needed help with anything else , did explain to her about what happened earlier and she did apologize and she would let management know , she was very helpful and accommodating and friendly she did say her name is “ Isuzu” might have spelled it wrong apologies but if it wasn’t for her overall customer service I would have gave this establishment 1 star.

What a dump. Should be renamed Candlewood Sticky Sweet. The bedding smelled of cigarette smoke and the floor was sticky. The loud wall fan emitted a high pitch squeal, making it difficult to sleep. Stayed one night and then changed hotels.

Hotel appeared to be nice and clean when you first walk in the room. Once you pull the blankets back, I could see signs that would indicate the sheets had not been changed, such as a hair, dirt marks. Same with all the towels, once you open them up, every one had dirt marks on them. Also, there is no kind of parking lot safety or security. There is a Mexican guy living in a van in the back of the parking lot. The truck parked next to mine got broken into, they broke his back window. I had just left around 10:55am and returned around 12pm and between those hours is when the break in happened. I'm sure my truck would have been broken into had it been parked there. I own a construction company so of course I had tools in the truck that day. They are pet friendly which is nice but no one cleans up after their dog goes #2. I stay at a lot of IHG hotels, my status proves that so this isn't a one off review. The staff was OK to interact with, the night lady was nice. I probably saw her the most and interacted with her the most as I was getting drinks.

The worst stay of my life! Upon arrival and checking into my room there was DOG hair everywhere; microwave, sheets, tub, pillow cases, floor, and also air condition unit. You can tell an animal had urinated on the wooden floors. After speaking with the front desk, she was trying to accommodate us but the hotel was sold out. When calling to speak with management (Janice)Monday morning she was quite understanding of the horrible stay even though I had pictures and videos to accommodate as evidence..had to fight tooth and nail for compensation. Please do not your hard earned money staying here.

I loved staying at this hotel...I wish I could just live there. Nice size room, spacious, and the kitchen area was awesome! Julia, and the young man at the front desk were amazing!!!!!

So, I will start by saying I was having the worst travel day of my LIFE(I'm sure we've all been there). However, when I walked in to the lobby I was greeted with a big smile by the night manager OMAR. He was so helpful and accommodating, he even listened to me vent about my horrible 13 hour drive from the Florida keys.. He gave me great suggestions on food and even helped me order the right way on the uber eats app. I'm not the most tech savvy person but he was patient, understanding and soo funny! Not only did he assign me to a big, CLEAN, luxurious room, he also helped me to my room with all my ridiculously heavy, obnoxious luggage. On top of that, he wouldnt even accept the tip i tried to give him... Omar is truly the epitome of what GREAR CUSTOMER SERVICE should be and delivered nothing short of perfection. He should be a liaison/teacher on how customers and customer service should be handled.. As long as he is employed at the candlewood, I'll ALWAYS come back. Hats off to the GM for hiring this man! The rooms smelled nice, were super clean, and having the Big refrigerator and stove was definitely a plus!!! I can't wait to come back and visit Charlotte AND the candlewood suites arrowood! Thank you for everything OMAR!!

Upon arriving at the location I was greeted with a warm welcome and smile by the front desk manager Julia. The check in was extremely quick and efficient, she also gave us great recommendations for food and entertainment. The GM, Janet, was also very high spirited and engaged in a pleasant conversation with us for about 20 minutes. They have a great selection of snacks , drinks and on the go meals in there market area. Our room was clean, Big refrigerator along with pots and pans were definitely a plus as we love to cook. This will be my "Go To" anytime I'm in the the area. I would definitely recommend staying here .

Let me start by saying , this isn't your average Extended Stay.. The rooms are a great size(most ES hotels have small living areas that make you feel cramped), but not here.. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, and having a BIG refrigerator while being able to cook my own food is just the "icing on the cake". The Rooms are ALWAYS super clean, the Housekeepers are very nice and go out of their way to acknowledge you when you're in the hallways( that's not always the case at the bigger chain hotels), the front desk staff is always friendly and upbeat, and the managers, JANET and JULIA are the nicest people I have ever come in contact with.. Some people like those big, 50 floor hotels that have "no life in them" , but this smaller , more personable Extended Stay will always be the way to go for me, it's like you're arriving at a family members house that you haven't seen in a few months.. I love the candlewood suites on arrowood and hope they don't change a thing!!
