๐Ÿ˜  The people who run it are polite and helpful but the room was disgusting, the shared toilet didn't even have a hand basin in to wash your hands after using the toilet there was no toilet roll either, the room was dirty, the curtains were about a foot short and hanging off, mould on the walls. Didn't... People often mention room, toilet, stay, dirty, sleep, rooms,

okay so where do I start... upon arrival I entered and well was horrified in the beginning about how tiny our "family room" was... anyways we unpacked our stuff first thing I noticed was that when I opened the chest of the drawers there was no bottom in them... I then looked up above me and guess what the curtains was tied on... I then thought it can't get any worse well guess what it does later that evening I got in bed to find a jelly sweet in my bed ... YES you read right a pigging jelly sweet, after the most uncomfortable nights sleep I then noticed no mug in my bedroom ... rang the number to see about getting one guess what ... "they don't stock mugs" although they supply a kettle so really no point in that. also we had to share a toilet and 1 shower between 4 other family's (in the same room so yes if someone was having a shower and you needed a toilet you was screwed) the window was also broken and stuck open... which was probably a bonus means as the heating was stuck on and couldn't be turned down. the sink was tied on by a piece of shoelace ... then on our last day we went to pack we moved the bed to make sure none of our stuff had fell down there to find sweets stuck to the side of the bed ... sweet wrappers just genuine filth down there! please don't ever ever stay here.

Duvet, mattress, pillow covers were dirty with human hair. Luckily I took my own blanket and bed sheet which i put on the top of everything on the bed. Thereโ€™s was no coffe, tea stuff. Toilet was dirty and our room was next to toilet so it was noisey for all the night and sink in the room was leaking underneath. Tiny TV was far away from plug. No reception. Experienced a horrible time ๐Ÿ˜จ.

The place needs shutting down, had to sleep in my clothes because the sheets had not been changed and still got bitten alive by god knows what. It stinks of urine everywhere. Wouldn't even be paid to stay there. Random used razors in the communal bathroom and dirty sanitry towels scattering the floor around the bin. In my room itself all the furniture was broken and hundreds of midgie flies swarming about. You would need a miracle to get free parking or to get a paid parking space in the coach car park at the bottom of the road. My room had used baby wipes on The broken shelf and cobwebs everywhere. The dirty mattress was too hard to sleep on and amounted in 3 hours of broken sleep because I had to keep flapping away at the flies landing on my face. You can hear everything that happens in everyroom and awoke to the sound of someone taking a dump in the toilet. You can't have a brain if you're thinking of staying here.

i would not even give this 1 star. The rooms are absolutely disgusting and terrible. A bathroom to share with 12 rooms the toilet roll runs out and people left sanitary towels in the bath and toilet. Only saw 1 person who let's you in and she was helpful but when complaining didn't even care. Would not recommend to anyone especially if you have children!!!

Wasn't a pleasant experience at all. At least change the dirty carpets with the money we pay you not a difficult task.Even as you enter the building the carpets are very dirty & unwelcoming not good at all. I understand the building is very old but just renovating the rooms hallway & bathrooms professionally will do alot of good. Once you visit that hotel you wouldn't want to pay that much money & go again not worth it. Also was alot of noise racket from guests next door in the middle of the night. The only good thing I would say there was free parking outside the hotel and the hotel was near the beach. So wasn't all bad but please!! Midway hotel Melbourne House management! I request you refurbish the rooms professionally will do you alot of good honestly as alot of people visit Blackpool and it is great to have good clean hotels nearby.

We stayed here unexpectedly after refusing to stay in another one over the road the kind gentleman from this place let us stay in one of his rooms. He could not have been more friendly and helpful the place was cosy and warm when we entered, smelled of fresh paint tho which wasn't great but after the time we had with the other place we were very grateful. The building is very rundown the place needs a lot of tlc but our room was clean fresh bedding/towels and very comfy and cosy for a family of 6. Shared bathroom and the shower didn't work we only stayed 2 nights so any longer and it would have been an issue but we washed in the sink. Some of the other guests were quite loud and banging a lot which did keep us awake the bunk bed creaked every time the kids moved, furniture old and didn't match the curtains didn't fit the windows but I was happy with my stay over all it was cheap, and close to everything judging by the rest of the street and the other hotels it was really nice and with a bit more tlc could be such a great place to stay. I will be forever grateful saved us from Staying in a hovel and we didn't pay any extra.

We paid ยฃ45 for 3 people in the height of Blackpool 'season' on a Saturday. The room was basic, two double beds both very thin worn out mattresses on divans, stained to hell. I. E. Blood and other stains.. No mirrors in either bedroom or bathroom but there was a hallway mirror. It did have a TV but no remote and aerial was missing which rendered it useless. There are 12 rooms so the house was very loud at night with the amount of people staying, doors slamming at all hours. Myself and my husband could hear everything and i mean everything... By morning the hallway mirror was hanging off the wall. In all honesty i wouldn't recommend and it does need a descent upgrade.
