The room here was pretty good. The location is great and the staff in the restaurant were genuine and warm. They get 1 star for the following reasons: 1. Lost my original booking but they debited my credit card 2. They advertised on their website the premium deluxe room has a balcony and it doesn't. They were happy to downgrade the room but would not refund the price difference on 1st request. When they did agree they tried to charge too much for the lesser room 3. They wanted me to hand back the cash difference they gave me and refund my credit card. I was hesitant given point number 1 but they continued to request this throughout my stay. A good hotel let down by inept reservation and FOH staff.

Can’t say it was the best of hotels, I’ve stayed at a few and this certainly wasn’t living up to it 5 star billing… Shower was only partially functioning, as were some of the lighting in the suite. Conditions of stay were to inform the hotel of our arrival time (12pm) and the room would be made available - not so, check in only at 3pm. Our particular reception assistant was less than helpful and openly displayed a distinct lack of interest in our stay experience. Caution advised for use of the room amenities, since even bath soap was charged for at a premium price. However, that said, breakfast and food was good with excellent service in the restaurant, location was good for the Chiangmai area, albeit it busy with traffic at peak times. Convenient parking made available for your hire car just opposite with no extra charge. Room style was not our particular cup of tea, (single bedroom family room) large space but half of it was bathroom with a lot of wasted space, and the other half as a designated family area we felt would be a squeeze at best.

Having visited for the afternoon tea at tbe lobby lounge, I have no word to say rather than fastastic. Everything I experienced was beyond my expectation! The taste was really good with surprise presentation as well as the portion compring to the price. The area was so nice, and the careness of staffs were remarkable. Highly recommended to pay a visit and try more pastries!

We absolutely adore this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the concept of having your breakfast whenever you want is phenomenal. Also love that you choose your own soap. Great gym, and great pool. Fantastic location.

Would you like to sleep in a nightclub? Welcome to book this hotel. Everything about the hotel is great, and it even offers dance activities until midnight. I feel live right above the speakers!

The worst 5 star hotel that I have stayed at. Stayed for 2 nights for a suite room and was placed on the 2nd floor with no balcony? Not to mention the bathroom is half of the entire room. Extremely dark with unnecessary, confusing light switches. If you look closely the tiles of the bathroom are dirty so it may be to hide that. The carpeting caused me to get congestion. I saw another review that mentioned poor ventilation which I can attest to. The service was mediocre. A stark difference in the way workers greet you when compared to the workers of other 5 star hotels in Chiangmai. And no welcome drink. Just overall lack of effort put into this hotel. The only good thing would be location. Will not be coming back.

The hotel is next to Nimman one and Maya Department Store, it is very suitable to drink English afternoon tea and have a rest after shopping. The quality of the afternoon tea snacks is good, and the coffee is delicious. The afternoon tea set for 2 people is only 399 baht, which is very cost-effective.

Fantastic location! My husband has a bad back, so beds are important to us when traveling, and the beds here are excellent. Very helpful staff, breakfast buffet is great with many options, and the room service is yummy! The in room massages are affordable and top notch, best Thai massage I've had yet. I will stay here any time I am visiting Chiang Mai.

The best location in Namman I think! This place is comfortable and easy to go anywhere. Maya plaza is opposite to this hotel. You can go to white market ( flea market) in this area.

I stayed 5 nights, very recommend this hotel for anyone who travel in Ching Mai: 1. The reception are always polite and able to response every questions I ask on hotel APP quickly. 2. The breakfast is various, delicious and almost change the items everyday. 3. The location is really convenience. But surprisingly, you hardly hear the noise from the outside street and aircraft noise. Everyone smile in this city and everyone is warm in this hotel :)

Very happy with service and location. The rooms are good, nothing spectacular but everything you need and all modern and clean. Great location but it can get noisy. Overall i would recommend this hotel. Staff was great.. Thank you

Location is great, near to mall and many restaurants/cafe. Breakfast can request to send to room but overall should be 3.5 stars hotel base on facilities and renovation. Max 2 device can be connected to room wifi.

The location is great. The room is fine. However the service is kinda drop from last time I been here. They say I have to come to check in at 14:00 but I have to wait for 2 hours so I can get into the room. They tell me that other visitors hadn’t came out of the room yet.

Location, traditional north Thai breakfast, small swimming pool with stunning view and location!!! I ordered Khantok set, to give it a try, it was ok, not as much in quantity as I expected to be for two person. Crispy skin pork weren’t so crispy. But room service price is reasonable compared to other 5 stars hotels. And super friendly staff :)

Stayed in 4/F, facing the main road instead of shopping mall. It can be quite loud at night due to road traffic and siren sounds. Hotel provided ear plugs in the room. Many of the room service and extra items can be ordered through mobile app. The breakfast is great with wide range of choices, the dinner buffet on weekend night is alright but quite limited in comparsion to breakfast.

We have mixed feelings about the hotel. Upon arrival, we were offered a welcome drink, which turned out to be a free drink from the mini-bar in our room. We expected a more inviting welcome drink at the bar or restaurant, as is common in other five-star hotels. The breakfast was a bit disappointing in terms of vegetarian options and lack of a barista. The coffee was from a touchpad machine, and only soy milk was available. Furthermore, there was no wifi at Eat@Rincom, despite showing a signal. However, the staff was accommodating, and we were able to create a hotspot from our mobile phone. The personal supplies in the room were the same as those found in the Eastin's 4-star sister hotel, with the exception of their signature fragrance soap. We suggest that the hotel considers this as an area for improvement. Nevertheless, the pillows and sheets were fantastic, and the rooms were modern and comfortable. The blackout curtains were also highly effective. The hotel's location in the Nimman neighborhood was excellent, with many shops and restaurants nearby. However, some rooms may be affected by noise from the street or nearby construction. Fortunately, we requested a quiet room and were not affected by this issue. We would recommend doing the same if you are a light sleeper. Overall, this is a hotel that we would recommend to our friends visiting Chiang Mai. It has its flaws, but it checks most of the boxes for a comfortable short-stay in the beautiful city of Chiang Mai

Stunning hotel in the middle of local nightlife and day life. Good choice if you want to really enjoy the Thai atmosphere in the city. Orange juice isn’t natural, amazing Poole and gym facilities.

GOOD: 1) The maintenance of the hotel is impressive, they make the hotel looks like a fully new one. You have to say that the hotel looks even newer than many new hotels that were opened in 2020-2023. 2) All facilities in both rooms & public area are professional and in extremely high quality, totally fulfil the international 5 stars standards even higher. 3) They have their own hotel app for guset to do almost everything such as to requset housekeeping / in room dining, etc. ---efficient & advanced. 4) The hotel has a special humane policy (a stay for 24hr), if you have a late check-in than you will get a late check-out. 5) free bike rental 6) invincible location: near "big3 " shooping malls (Maya, one Nimman, Think Park) BAD: 1) The swimming pool is closed very very early everyday, only until 20:00, to be honest, many travellers only have time to swim in the evening after dinner, they visit landscapes in the day time. If hotel extand operation hour to 23:00 that would be much better. 2) The selection of the breakfast buffet is a bit little as a 5-star hotel, anyway the quality is more than enough. 3) except a library in the lobby, no other entertainment facilities, the hotel could consider to set up such as snooker table, table football, Dartboard outside the gym room area.

There are so many ants. When I first checked in, I saw an ant crawled around on the bed. But I'm not a sensitive person, I understand it happens because it's a hot country, so I killed it and threw it away. The serious problem was the next day. I will never forget the experience of hundreds of ants moving near my head when I woke up in the morning and looked to my side. It was very disgusting. My whole body is itchy and I'm coughing, I hope I didn't get bitten by ants or allergic reaction. I didn't see insects anywhere during my trip to Chiang Mai, so I thought Thailand was a pleasant country than I expected .... Until I stayed at this hotel. Cannot believe this happened in 5stars hotel. I quickly threw away the snack and drinks provided free of charge in the room, but I couldn't throw away the mango smoothie. the mango smoothie became a trap while i'm sleeping, and hundreds of ants were crawling around it... Should I be grateful that the mango smoothie became a trap and didn't let more ants crawl through the bed? So what can the staff do for me? I don't know. I just restlessly pack up again during my trip and move to another room where I'm not sure if there are ants or not, I'm just so nervous.

Decent stay at U Nimman. Room design is very strange, toilet is practically part of the room on not much privacy. Should have just created a private bathroom like a normal hotel room. Breakfast selections weren’t great either, a lot of contamination with the vegetarian and non vegetarian food. Ham etc should be kept separate from other foods to be more conscious for other guests. Decently priced so get what you pay for I suppose, suprised it’s a 5* hotel. Would say it’s a 4* max.

Excellent five stars hotel, good service, comfortable room, delicious breakfast. It is well-locates in the center of a shopping district, you can easily grab food from the nearby market or department store. We didn’t have the chance to try their outdoor pool, but it seems very relaxing.

Quiet room, nice pillows and cold air condition. This hotel is a must for those who want to spend their time in Chiangmai around Nimman area. Good location and close to everything. Breakfast is beyond expectations. Bit pricey but really worth the money.

A modern hotel with excellent amenities. Room was spacious, comfortable and had a nice balcony. Convenient location across the mall and close to night markets. The rooftop pool was clean, relaxing and well-maintained, and offered a gym and nice sauna as well. The daily breakfast buffet was very good, and offered a lot of choices to appease a wide variety of palates. I was mostly impressed by the wonderful staff members, always provided great service with a smile. Highly recommend, would stay here again.

Chic hotel in a very good location. You can walk to all famous place in nimman from the hotel. The room is very clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My favorite part is that you can order to have breakfast serve at your room + the have wide variety of breakfast choices. Will definitely go back to this hotel next time I’m in Chiang Mai!

Nice hotel. Great location. Good food. Things looked good until you used the toilet. You will be shocked to find yourself sitting on a toilet seat in a super small, tight and dark corner with a tissue holder right in your face! Wow what a shocking misdesign. But in general a nice hotel to stay at.

Room was spick and span with attractive decorations. Same compound as the One Nimman shopping complex and just opposite the Maya Shopping Center.

I have been living/working in Thailand for more than 15 years, and I can say without a doubt that my family's stay at the U Nimman was one of the best I've ever had in Thailand. From contacting the reservations team, who helped us extend our stay after I had an unexpected medical issue, to getting help from the GM (Khun Chutima is wonderful) with some unexpected changes, to working with the front office staff to get help with our luggage and parking outside the hotel to accommodate our young children's needs...we couldn't have had a more pleasant stay. This is a wonderful property, with a wonderful team.

It was my first time to stay here. The location was great. It was easy to travel around there and it was as center to other locations. The service was great. All staffs were good with service mind. I liked breakfast line. There were many kinds of food, Thai, western, noodle, and Chinese. I thought I would choose this place for my next visit at Chiang Mai.

Lots to love about this hotel. Location, service, pool, gym, cleanliness, staff friendliness. But the bathrooms are “weird” very open and nowhere to put clothes/towels if you’re showering. Despite everything else I love about this place, probably won’t come back due to the bathroom design.

Had a great stay at U Nimman. Location was perfect, close to Maya Mall, and the many hip cafes around the Nimman area. Service staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were big and particularly the separate toilet and shower area is a plus. All are good except the chair at the study desk. Not very comfortable if you decide to sit and do some work for long hours. :( Other than the chair, it's a great place to stay in Chiang Mai.

One of if not the best hotel I’ve stayed at. Absolutely love the architecture of the place. Great food services and nice people all around. Just a small walk and you will reach the amazing street of nimman.

Nice location! Very convenient, boutique, and right at the center of all cultural action here in Chiang Mai. The room is clean and nicely designed with a goal of accommodating folks with family. Recommend for those with ab extra budget (since it’s not a budget hotel).
