A nice hotel centrally located within easy reach of shopping centres and a plethora of eateries or drinking places. Service was courteous and effective. We had three rooms during this visit for our party. No complaints whatsoever on the facilities or cleanliness. Buffet breakfast is a substantial all you can eat affair. The hotel does get crowded with large parties of coach travellers, which can create chaos at the breakfast area. One or two reviewers have mentioned the aircraft noise. Yes it's true, the main flightpath appears to be over this area of the city. However, it's not such a difficult thing to block out. Unless you live in the outback, people are generally used to this sort of background noise level.

A total disappointment. IBIS supposed to be more professional and standardized. Cons: Seems they provided us a room that's is supposed to be closed for renovation. 1. Mismatched size of toilet cover that swivels. If not careful - u ll have fall for sure. 2. Floor had muddy spots. Some deep cleaning could clean it up easily. 3. Slippers are paper soled - had to ask housekeeper to change as whole slipper was sticking together. All these issues are kind of solvable and a chain hotel like IBIS shouldn't keep this kind of situation In "let it be" mode. Pros: Breakfast was alright with multiple options. The jazz bar of the hotel got very good food and cocktails.

Well, the hotel staff gave me the Wrong keycard room, while I was entering the room, there was people inside that room (as I heard their noise). Then I had to wait for another keycard

Same funky design that you expect from ibis Styles. The staff were friendly but at this price point, I would rather stay at Mercure. Better location (in my opinion, if you want to be closer to the old town), and better value for money. Our room (which was supposedly an upgrade) had only a very small window. The room didnā€™t come with breakfast which is odd. Every other ibis styles that I have stayed at before came with free breakfast. If Iā€™m in Chiang Mai again, Iā€™ll definitely take Mercure over this.

I stay at ibis styles for 2 nights. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The room was clean but a bit narrow. Breakfast was good but not variety. Room price was nice. I will go back absolutely.

The aircon in my room make very very loud noise Other than that everything perfectly. Would suggest a self service laundry station in the hotel.

Good both times we stayed here (before and after covid) but breakfast could have more vegetarian options.

Unfortunately the room has seen better days. Housekeeping definitely not to the standard that I used to in Thailand. Stayed for almost a week...daily there sink bathroom etc can still see residue of soap grimes, stains everywhere without really any cleaning done apart from making up the bed, towels and replenishing stuff....

This place is a 2 star hotel at best. Not sure whoā€™s lying in the reviews but be prepared for no hot water and crazy loud noise

I didn't expect to be lodged in such an old, filthy hotel, especially the air conditioning, which was so loud I couldn't sleep for two nights, Towels are so old and discolored that they're filthy to use. Toilet paper is also offering toilet paper that's so cheap it was so hard. However, the hotel fee was not cheaper than other Ibis hotels, so I was more surprised and I could not find good cafes or restaurants around the hotel. Clearly a hotel in need of renovation

The first room we got was located in building 3. Itā€™s the largest room, but it was scary. It has very bad smell there, we almost cannot breathe at all. The walk way between elevator and the room was scary as well. Thereā€™s no one there and the atmosphere is terrifying. So, we called to the reception and asked for room change after we stayed there for 10 mins. They accepted our request and assigned us a bit smaller room at the new building (building 2). It was better, but i donā€™t feel comfortable enough to stay. The bad smell is there, but less intense. The whole hotel is way too big than they can manage. Thereā€™s almost zero staffs outside the central building. But to be fair, the staffs at the central lobby is great. They were quick to response our questions and needs. The Accor nights count and rewards were slow to receive. I didnā€™t receive any rewards even I checked-out on 5 am Sunday until today Wednesday, I still didnā€™t receive anything. The other hotels that I have stayed in Thailand was able to resolve it within a day or two. I would say the red Ibis Chiangmai is far better than this even the price is cheaper, i prefer it much much more.

very nice hotel! Reception is very helpful. The room is clean and cute with small size. Maya and Nimman road not so far, you can walk just 10 min. The price is reasonable.

We stayed at Ibis Styles, for two months and had a fantastic stay. The facilities were modern, well maintained, and clean. The staff was amazing, extremely helpful, and authentically warm and friendly. Overall, a very positive experience, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Room in middle building is gettibg old but stinn clean. Noisy at bed time due to close to the road, airplane take off route and also lots of birds. However, overall is acceptable.

A very nice hotel. It was a little far from the downtown. You will need a grab to move.

As a diamond member i stayed in many hotels, whereof some Ibis, Novotel , Sofitel ent. This hotel matches more the Ibis normal, the styles hotels normally have a bit more to offer and are decorated more colorful. Ibis is normally 3 star hotels and the styles fall into 4 stars. This hotel seems to have a 4 star rating but unfortunately i have to say it did not feel that same way. I know ratings are given on having or not having some facilities and shoe cleaners etc. But in general i would feel same here as in a 3 star ibis having the same layout. Having said that, the hotel has a pool , simpel breakfast with no fresh juices but rather from packages. The hotel is located above a bar and next to the Main Street and therewith very noisy, Reason for us to move out. If your looking for something not to expensive close to Nimman and like going to disco live, than this hotel is absolutely good, Are you looking for some good night rest then its better to look further

The hotel is nice and clean. Safe and shaded parking spots. But the hotel staffs provide you with excellent services, exceeding the hotel standard by far. Will definitely be back again.

I couldn't find fault with the room. A comfortable bed with crisp sheets, no complaints. If you're driving, the traffic can be a little busy at rush hour. Finally there're not a great deal of cafƩs, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

Staff were excellent and accommodating. My room, which was in the newer building of the three was very nice and well appointed. This hotel sees a lot of group tours arriving by the busload which tends to overwhelm the facility, especially at breakfast. Thus I avoided breakfasts there and went elsewhere. One thing I found very annoying is the wifi set-up. It requires relogging in every day, with credentials constantly changing. It also throttles Netflix, which isn't great since there are only two or three English language stations on TV. Not a big deal if you're only there a couple days, but since I was there 2 weeks it was frustrating. Another not so great thing is the pool. Not awful, but less appealing than in the pictures. For food I highly recommend Tsunami Japanese Thai which is right around the corner. Popular, deservedly so.

Out of the four Test & Go hotels which I emailed, Ibis Style was the only one who actually replied me within a day. Special thanks to Ms. Niparat Yordkord for the arrangement on short notice! Escorted from the airport to hospital (for PCR Test) to the hotel, everything was done efficiently and politely. When I reached the hotel, I was greeted by the helpful concierge who answered any questions I had about the stay. Most of the staff I met only know basic English but spoke volumes with their smiles. The room I got was cosy but adequate. Slept like a baby on the comfy bed. Some amenities were not very well placed, e.g the bedside tables were too far from the bed and working space was limited with the table cluttered with stuff.. but theyā€™re nothing that some repositioning wonā€™t fix. As I was in quarantine, food had to be ordered through room service, which was relayed via the front desk (phone number 0). Food delivery was fast and I especially liked their chicken salad. One thing to improve is that the only working chair in the room is super rigid and uncomfortable. I had to use pillows as cushions for the seat when I need to work at the table for an extended period.

I got vouchers from ā€œThai tiew thaiā€ event with the price 990 thb net per night included breakfast. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to stay in a larger room and helped us to check-in early. Thereā€™s located in a good location. Near to CMU and Doi Suthep. Itā€™s one of a good place to stay in the central Chiang Mai. :)

Just OK with reasonable price, do not expect too much. It is an accor budget hotel, renovated from old hotel.

Friendly and nice staffs. Main building is in Restoration until Oct, but not too noisy. Anyway the hotel is beside the main outer ring road in Chiang Mai. It is a stylish hotel but not my preference. Dark color decoration look not refreshed. Mattress quality not good. But ok for one night.

The construction of the property does permit some noise transmission into the rooms. The doors slam quite loudly and I could hear talking and snoring in the next room and hallway even after making a special request for a quiet room away from elevators and ice machines, which was unfortunately not accommodated. The bed was firm but was still easy to sleep on without putting down a pad or a towel, the room was extra clean and I appreciated this greatly. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of Thai, western and fruit/salad. The staff in restaurant are top notch and even brought a plate and cutlery to my room very fast so I could eat delivery food. Overall I would stay here again but in a quiet, quiet room away from the elevator.
