One of the best sandwiches I've had all year, no Bull! Ordered a chop steak sandwich no tomatoes, extra mayo, and burnt fries. Sandwich was made to perfection, tasted absolutely fabulous. Finally somebody knows how to cook fries! Next time I see that guy I'm going to give him a tip!

I am a local and use to come here all the time but stopped for a while. Decided to go there today and ordered $40 plus dollars of food that included two gyro sandwiches. It would of been nice if you put the sauce in the bag for those gyros! And can you put any less meat in those things?? smh

Great place for some freshly prepared, delicious fast food done right. My Italian beef was extra tasty and piping hot! So hot that I was kind of mad I couldn't eat it right away lol. It was expertly packaged in paper, foil(?), then tucked inside a plastic bag- THANK YOU for putting it in a bag- since Italian beef sandwiches can get soooo messy and drippy from the au jus sauce. My sandwich was made exactly as requested, and the fries were crispy and hot. A bit on the small side, but who needs a pound of French fries?! I should have gotten a milkshake-they have such a great selection- but I'm trying to ease up on the sweets too. The only thing is the service can be slow, especially late at night, but I assume they take their time making everything fresh. It doesn't stop the drive-through from always being packed. They must be a favorite. I'd say the price was average to moderately high but so worth every penny. You can find all your Chicago-style faves here 👍. I haven't had a more delicious Italian Beef in quite some time.

found this place looking for a late night (after 10PM) non franchise fast food joint. can't find a decent bite to eat or a place with any soul or character in the south burbs after 9 or 10 o'clock. cruising down rt. 30, saw nick's, drive thru open, lobby? I don't like drive thrus, no soul. yes! lobby open. menus displayed typical greasy spoon fast food: burgers in many varieties, hot dogs, sausages, chicken, pizza, gyros and a rib eye steak sandwich, hard to find these days as one owner told me beef is just too damn expensive. usual cast of characters stumbling around; bored but efficient window girl, cook with white? apron and hat, and the show runner walking around in street clothes in the back, paying a lot of attention to the front (can't be too careful at 11:45 PM?) and another customer waiting for his order pacing around talking too loud on his cellphone. I went with the rib eye steak sandwich, $11.00 but big and tasty and they made it the way i wanted it, lettuce/tomato/pickle/mayo, a hot dog, and a filet of fish. order came fast enough for fast food, taste and quality well within fast food standards. sign inside says lobby 'til 12MN, drive thru ' til 1A, rare in these parts.

This place food isn’t very good and their prices are super crazy. Gyro plate with not a lot of meat, flimsy wet French fries and wet pita stuffed in a plastic container with condensation making it all worse. Then to top it off they stick it in yet another plastic! Plastic bag to ensure you get a wet sandwich as well as wet fries all for $17.00 +with tax. Go to the real Nicky’s Gyros in Dolton 2050 Sibley Blvd in Calumet City. Way better and not soggy!!!

Ordered Italian beef (dipped) with french fries. Sandwich was on an eight inch bun, meat wasn't very flavored. It was a good sandwich, just not worth five stars, imo. French fries were good. Used the drive through which was very convenient. Order came up pretty fast around lunch time. Will go back again.

I legit haven’t even ate all my food. From start to finish my experience here was great it was fast the young man that took my order was extremely nice. And the guy at the window not sure if it was the same guy. My food was made perfect just the way I like it I ordered the Gyro. I was skeptical because I usually go to the one in cal city. But this location is up the street from me . Amazing

The young lady at window with the pretty eyes was very sweet and professional. My only complaint is the food is OVER priced. I spent 17.00 for a school steak sandwich.

DoorDash y’all really need to get on top of y’all restaurants. Nicks gyros in chicago heights count y’all days. Dry no American cheese no mild sauce then it’s cut in half. $17 through DoorDash. I called to the restaurant the lady read my whole order but still said it’s not their fault 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I paid for the extra cheese and said I want American cheese instead. She said I had to pay for all of that . Lies I ordered the same thing while at work and it was perfecr

If I could leave no stars I would. Nicko the owner is rude and disrespectful. His people messed up my order I call get put on hold and hung up on twice. I go up there to get my money back and instead of him apologizing we get into. That’s why no one wants to work for you and big boys is better and will always be better you’re just convenient. Won’t look at that raggedy excuse for a restaurant to spend a penny

They are not bad my biggest issue is that every time I go thru the drive thru I am waiting there for at least 20 minutes no matter what I order

I waited in the drive-through for over five minutes before my order was taken And no one was in front of me. I ordered an Italian beef combo with sweet peppers. I get the food home to my daughter and they put hot on it then I called them and surprise no answer. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. I just don’t know what happened over the years I would avoid this place until they get their act together

The cashier in the drive through was so incredibly rude. It on Sunday night on oct 29th. I couldn't even see her when I handed my card to her and when she gave it back to me all I saw was a hand and an arm coming out the window. As if she was some sort of Halloween creepy hand giving me my card back. I get my sundae two minutes later and say thank you and got NO words in return. Then I waited for my order for 25 whole minutes. By the way , no one was in front of me when I made my order. I went straight to the window. I knocked multiple times after about 15 minutes or so to see what was going on and see if maybe they forgot my order. 5 minutes before I finally get my order she asked what I ordered. ARE YOU SERIOUS!? The audacity to leave me there for 20 minutes in the drive thru and ignore me to then finally ask me what I even ordered!? Whoever hired this woman, please, let her go because I'm never coming back to this place. Sorry about everyone else who works there I know it isn't your fault. Honestly I gave the food away and got something else to eat. This was unacceptable behavior and so antisocial the way she treated me. And no this experience doesn't reflect the business as a whole but in fact, just one person. I love Nick's but this particular one I'm not coming back to.

I have eaten at many Nick's, THIS WAS AWFUL!!!! I asked for just sauce in my gyro, and look at the picture.....NOTHING AND THE MEAT WAS HARD. The soda was 100%flat, like drinking sugar water. You can tell this owner is CHEAP...a good Greek owner slathers the gyro in sauce.

Ordered 2 of the 3 cheese fries and had no ranch or ranch seasoning and barely any bacon.. I ordered these a couple times before and they were great this time they were very very bland!

Food is decent late at night when everything is closed. Be prepared to wait at least 20 mins in drive thru tho, heads up

The food was good, but you may want to go during the day, or use the drive-thru. There's a lot of strange characters hanging around at night. Not in the best neighborhood...

We ordered off Uber Eats and Nicks failed to include the Gyro we ordered. We called back to make them aware and they decided to side with the cook who stated he included everything in the bag. I guess they would blame the driver, however the bag was stapled. So since they can’t blame him they are by default calling us liars. Their unwillingness to compromise lets me know that businesses like that don’t value their customers. Who wants to argue over a missing gyro.

The drive thru is a bit awkward but this place has some really good gyros and cheese fries, and by this I mean they don't just toss fries in a basket and toss a slice of cheese on it like some places... That's all I usually get if I go here. They are very good.

Italian beef was nasty. It looked like they just poured the meat out the bucket. It was stacked together. Big pieces of meat not chopped up, bread was super, super soggy. Beyond dipped. The bread was coming off on my fingers, inthrew that s..... in the garbage. The Gardiner peppers was not hot but oily. Never again and the price just for sandwich was 11.00 and some change. Horrible, yes absolutely 💯 horrible

The gyro sandwich is 8 out of 10. The gyro is very flavorful but a little dry. The employees are very nice. Business is clean and well lit. Has a drive thru.

The worst food I have ever had. I ordered two tacos that cost me $8.91 no sides or anything. The tacos are going to the garage. I'm currently in line at burger king to get food since I was not happy with the lunch I ordered. I have given several tries on different food and it has all been bad.

Normal grease spot, don't go drunk like I did! I ordered my fav, gyro but then also got a gyro pizza puff. All was delicious but I definitely felt it next day...
