Love an ideo of free ice skating. Great idea for the winter fun. Attaching a picture with rules and scheduling. Ice rink is opened from November 15,2019 until March 8,2020. Depending on weather the ice rink could be closed. So please, visit Millennium park social media for real-time updates.

Great spot to skate. It is an outstanding setting surrounded by the Bean and many skyscrapers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Skating is free. Rentals are available. Lockers are also available for a buck. Unforgettable experience!

Nice place to view the skyline of the city while ice skating. A bit crowded during the mid of the 1.5 hr slot. Book in advance

Free ice skating!! If you don't have skates, they cost $14, not bad at all. What I didn't like was the wet floor they want you to stand on IN YOUR SOCKS because you have to turn your shoes in to get skates. Wet socks in 3 degree weather is a bad combination! But, my nephew loved it, it wasn't too crowded, and we had lots of fun!!

Plenty to see and do for the whole family. Don't miss a family favorite of ice skating and also photo ops at the Bean. Very nice area for a stroll also.

The overall rink is nice, and a large size. The only issue is that it is very plain, and has little inspiration. This is mostly due to the fact that the other exhibits over shine it immensely.

3 stars: Safety 0/10 Read below for more information about positive and negative. Positive: - The ice rink is pretty good if you wanna take pictures in the city. The night is always so beautiful. Take your ticket in advance it is important for you. Negative: - They do not provide a locker if you wanna put your bag for your skate (for skater it is a big bag) - Last year skaters where able to skate in the middle to do figure but now everyone can go in the middle. I am not saying it is not normal, I am just saying about the security of your kids, we are paying attention but when you are spinning if a kid is running on us, we cannot stop instantly. The kids with the pingouin leaving their pingouin in the middle is dangerous too. - they are not paying attention to people skating reverse to everyone which is very dangerous. If there is a sense to skate it is for your safety, going reverse to the sense is dangerous for all skaters. I think it is very good for pictures and have fun but the security and safety is completely a 0/10. Price: $20 for rental skate $0 if you bring your own skate.

Incredible spot to skate. It is a remarkable setting encircled by the Bean and numerous high rises. The staff is cordial and learned. Skating is free. Rentals are accessible. Storage spaces are likewise accessible for a buck. Remarkable experience!

Mixed review: rink is nice and the ice is in excellent condition. Rental skates are the WORST ever. There is no padding inside so you're essentially putting a molded plastic boot on your foot. Of course that means your foot better be the exact same shape as the boot or you're in for a world of pain. Took three different pairs of skates and thank goodness I brought an extra thick pair of socks, so I could provide my own padding. Cycle your skate inventory. If you create a painful experience for your customers, they won't be back. If my review was helpful or you agreed with my assessment, please consider giving my review a "like".

Everyone has to experience the Bean while in Chicago! The best part is walking underneath and looking up!

If you bring your own skates it's probably wonderful, but my first set was literally broken and the second was so stretched they didn't fit. I gave up.
