Really cool place in Lincoln Park. Located behind the conservatory close to the Nature Museum. I got free parking close to the zoo. A wonderful way to escape the city and go for a walk, or just sit and relax. There is a small waterfall. The pond had so many lilies. Lots of wedding photographers around the central area. The pond is also home to turtles, fishes and some birds.

The stone works here is incredible and was done in a way that looks natural and blends beautifully with the pond. The pond has ducks and you may see bull frogs if not you will hear the mating calls if in season. Very relaxing place and has places to sit and enjoy the scenery. Parking is an issue, just note the closest place to park is at the zoo and it is expensive.

There are a lot of nice places in and around Lincoln Park. This one is a hidden jewell. It's rather peaceful and worth spending some time just chilling in. It is on the north end of the zoo and not always accessible from the zoo, so you may need to exit the zoo to get to it, but pictures don't do it justice.

A beautiful, tranquil and quiet place hidden in plain-sight. The lily pond, temple-like structures and babbling waterfall make this a must-visit for seasoned nature lovers and novices alike. The close proximity to both the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, the Lincoln Park Zoo and the Lincoln Park Conservatory, makes it easy to add it to a day of nature loving fun for the whole Family.

An urban oasis that gives peace and tranquility through the senses. A stone throw away from Lincoln Park Zoo and the Lakefront Trail. Take a walk along the path and see what nature has to offer nestled deep in the city.

What an amazing hidden gem right near Lincoln Park Zoo & Conservatory. The entrance was a little bit tricky to find but once inside, it’s so peaceful, serene & picturesque. There were a few people getting professional photos taken & others who were meditating & enjoying the calmness. Totally worth a visit. Pro tip: you can park in the Lincoln park zoo lot for up to 30 minutes for free if you want to do a quick walk around the lily pool without paying for parking.

The Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool is simply stunning. There's an entrance (almost hidden) on Fullerton. Just West of the LP Zoo parking lot entrance. So many places to stroll, sit, meditate, hike and so much more! Easily one of my favorite hidden gems in Chicago.

What a wonderful little spot in the city to feel like you've gotten away. Here's a turtle we saw just hanging out getting some sun.

An amazing secret hiding in Lincoln Park, a beautiful very quite and calming park. Also the frogs make funny noises. Great venue for wedding photos or a nice walking date.

Serene. Lots of birds. Saw 5 different hawks/falcons in the trees. Saw wedding photos taken and a man proposing to his soon-to-be fiance.

This is such a lovely spot! The garden is stunning and we spotted a few monarch butterflies on our stroll around. On top of that, there was a sweet woman greeting people and giving tours who was very kind to my partner and I which only added to our experience. If that's you are you're reading this - thank you!

This is the prettiest spot in the city and I love visiting. The sign says it’s open mid April but I went today (April 21) and it is still closed. I went to the conservatory right around the corner and they said it would open April 30th, which is disappointing because early spring is prime redbud season and they have a few inside the lily pool. Hopefully they won’t have shed all their blooms by the time they finally open their doors.

Pure peace and tranquility in the midst of Lincoln park. It's tucked away and offers lots of private places to escape and enjoy nature.

Beautiful little tucked-away oasis. Feels like the kind of place you only find out about from a local. Great for relaxing and meditating.

It's one of my favorite places in Chicago. This hidden Oasis in the city behind large wooden doors is a beautiful lily pond with a pergola and path around the pond. Great place to go to meditate or spend time with someone you love.
